The place wasn't too busy. Got the lychee drink. The drink was pretty good and really hit the spot but I wish there was more of it! I'd try their other drinks out if I were wandering the mall again.

Got the watermelon drink It was very good VERY fast service very convenient Got the lychee drink I've never tried lychee and I didn't like it but the jelly pieces were very good

First impressions of this place known for Bing Fen (Ice Jelly) was kind of lackluster and I wasn't wow-ed at the offering. The first turn off was how expensive it was for a very small portion size that left us craving more. Wife and I ordered the Lychee Rosie and although it tasted fresh and sweet, it didn't feel like anything special that we could have made at home or gotten somewhere else. The final total was close to ~$10 after getting it as well which I think rather spend on two boba drinks elsewhere. Again, nothing was wrong with the Bing Fen itself but it just didn't feel like it was worth the price.

The drink dessert was very light and hint of persimmon. We were expecting a little more liquid to jelly ratio so that was a different experience. Macaroons were super cute and not too sweet. It was fast service.

Jell & Chill Cute place with another location in Cupertino. This is originally from Southwest China and it involves Bing Fen which is a Jello like substance. If you like jello & drinks you may love this place. This is a new concept to the typical boba :) I recommend trying the original first and then switching it up to the more cirtrus, fruity textures. 1 star off as I don't think the food is much of a draw but the drinks are! Wish they had more sizing options. Service is a self service clover tablet so easy to order and no wait essentially

After lunch at marugame udon, my friend and I were leaving the mall but this place caught our eyes. This place specializes in bing fen drinks. According to their website, "Bing Fen is a plant based jelly dessert made from the seeds of the nicandra physalodes." It's a very refreshing and a healthier alternative to other snacks. I got the Yuzu Grapefruit ($8.50) and my friend got the Watermelon Cloudy ($6.25). The Yuzu Grapefruit is a passion fruit slushie with yuzu sorbet, rosemary , fresh grapefruit, and agar boba. It is indeed refreshing but it was a bit overpriced for what it is.

Tried this place twice. Drinks are hit or miss. I do recommend the honeydew dragonfruit drinks. It's light and refreshing. The honeydew fruit slice in the cup is too ripe and almost tastes spoiled?? The other peach drinks taste rather artificial.

Located on mall 2nd floor, near Shihlin, Pokeatery and iChina, back a walkway near Macy woman's and the Icon movie theater. Got a strawberry peach with no whipped cream (cutting calories). Shared it and was definitely big enough for 2. Strong strawberry flavor. Get the whipped cream to smooth out the flavor and make taste more creamy. Overall enjoyable and of good quality. Ordering on kiosk was pretty intuitive and quick. Worker that helped with info and delivering the drink was nice. Ambiance... well it out in the middle of an aisle in the mall, so it's noisy and no music. No real set space to eat but open bar tables nearby near shihlin. Will be back again.

Watermelon slush and yuzu grapefruit

My friend and I stopped here to order some bing fen after shopping at Valley Fair for a bit! I got the watermelon slush and she got the yuzu grapefruit. We asked the employee if he could make ours a little less sweet too, so if you prefer that make sure to let them know since it doesn't show up on the digital ordering menu! The watermelon slush came with such an adorable watermelon chunk in the shape of a flower on a stick, and my friend got a big chunk of fruit in hers. The lychee jelly in my slush was so refreshing and added sweetness. The cream on top didn't really add much flavor, I didn't mix it but it might have added a different sort of texture (since my order was just mostly watermelon juice). My friend liked her yuzu grapefruit, it was too sour for me to try after I had my watermelon so I just stuck to mine haha. It's really yummy and I'd definitely come back here to try another one of their drinks and maybe one of their desserts- perhaps a macaron or two?

I'm obsessed w jell and chill! It's my new go to snack/drink at valley fair mall! My favorite is definitely the yuzu drink! It comes full of jelly and this AMAZING yuzu sorbet on top. I'm not even sure if you can call it a drink since it's mostly jelly but you drink it through a straw so I call it a drink :) If you've never tried bing su i'd highly recommend checking this place out! The drinks are so refreshing and i'll be back anytime I visit the mall.

Tropical Dream and Purple Haze
Kevin T.

Mixed feelings on this new pop-up shop in the middle of a Valley-Fair mall walkway. It fits the bill for a dessert drink type place, given the other nearby offerings are just okay at best, but itself falls a bit short of being a good spot. Jelly drinks aren't always my thing, but it doesn't feel very well integrated in this case. Overall it ends up rather underwhelming given the asking price. The shop is pretty straightforward, but the menus on display are dim and rotate so you're better off just hitting up their kiosks to look for details. Minimal interactions with staff. Kiosks are easy to operate though and we had no issues picking through the options. Offerings included their typical jelly drinks and macarons. The former has prices from as low as $5.5 and going up to $10, particularly with the fancier ingredients. My brother got the Tropical Dream and I went with their Purple Haze. The tropical dream was an inoffensive drink so he didn't really comment on it further, but certainly not raving about it either. My Purple Haze wasn't too well balanced and flavor was just okay; with the quantity of the jelly it definitely pushes it firmly into bland, and I already like my desserts on the less sweet side. The mochi bits were also a bit gritty, but the fresh taro chunks were nice and the ube slushy itself reasonably flavored. However, the ube was just better without the jelly parts, which diluted whatever was there too far. Worth the try, especially if you're already at the mall browsing, but I'll probably venture elsewhere for dessert options.

Drink menu
Alex X.

If you approach this place as a vegan jelly dessert place with some drinkable options, it might be ... passably palatable and pretty pricey. It's a cute popup place next to other restaurants, so people are typically milling about and eyeing the menu. Service is a bit slow, and I went into it wanting to try a drink after lunch (note: this is the wrong expectation). Imagine my surprise when I was handed a spoon with my Rosie's Evil Twin. In short, I was very underwhelmed. The Watermelon Cloudy was just watermelon juice, the Yuzu Grapefruit was sour and exactly what you'd expect, the Tropical Dream was tart but fine, and the Rosie's Evil Twin was a fine semi-sweet mixture of jelly, random things, and sugar. All of the drinks were very inoffensive but very okay at best (and maybe not $6.25 or $8.50 fine, for that matter). It seemed like you'd need a spoon for three of the four drinks to enjoy them most effectively (all but the watermelon). It's pretty and it's a pretty experience. Worth trying, but there are better options in the mall.

Rose L.

Got the Yuzu as a sample from a promotion during construction, Rosie and Rosie's Evil Twin this time around. The jelly is the best part of it but it goes down so fast so it feels like a very airy drink. The balls in Rosie were pretty chewy and good with the jelly but I did not like the candy that was in it. If you like the light deserts, this place is for you!

But I wouldn't attempt any chocolate ones again if I did come back here. It's lacking something. As for the inside, it's a spacious place with plenty of seating which is nice, although the music feels a little loud. The service is pretty straight forward here as you can order from a kiosk or up front, and there are screens that show which order number is finished around the restaurant. The bathroom was clean. Overall, wouldn't say it's bad but I'm not sure if I can recommend.

The food is worth the wait. Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

I kept seeing posts about whaT's More cake's persimmon cakes, so I decided to give them a try. I preordered the persimmon molten cake and the persimmon crepe cake through their website. The online ordering process was smooth, and both cakes were ready right on time for pickup. Unfortunately, the persimmon molten cake was disappointing. While I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, it was very mild in flavor. It tasted more like a simple sponge cake with a persimmon filling in the center, and overall, it felt quite underwhelming. In contrast, the persimmon crepe cake was much better. Each layer had persimmon cream and jam, which gave it a stronger and more pronounced persimmon flavor without being overly sweet. Overall, it's a cute cake shop worth checking out if you're looking for unique flavors in the South Bay. Parking: Plenty of parking available in the lot.

Our group ended up sitting outside since a lot of the larger tables indoors were occupied by only one or two people. You can grab your own chairs by the bathroom if you have a big group. I liked that menu was extensive. Besides shaved ice, they also had boba, tea, ice cream, and taiyaki. We waited maybe around 10 minutes for our order. We checked out a couple of games available near the front for customers to borrow. We shared one large mango cheesecake shaved ice and one medium Biscoff shaved ice. Mango cheesecake - This was AMAZING. My first bite tasted like heaven. The flavors worked together so well and the cheesecake wasn't overly sweet. The mangoes were ripe and sweet. Biscoff shaved ice - I enjoy Biscoff in general, but this didn't compare to the mango cheesecake at all. It was too sweet and more icey/watery. Chamomile tea drink -This paired nicely with the cold desserts. It was warm and refreshing at the same time. I almost never order nor see chamomile tea on menus so this was cool. One note: there was a water station available, but the cups were SO small. Maybe 2-3 gulps of water per cup. I wish they were bigger.
