The boba truck came to Heritage Baptist Church in San Leandro for our first responders appreciation day honoring police, fire fighters, sherrifs, etc. It was an awesome treat to all the families as well as the public safety. I was surprised that boba could taste so good from a food truck! There were hundreds of people they had to serve and the staff was so patient in taking orders. Slowly but surely we made it to the truck! And it was one of the most refreshing and tasty drinks I've had. Got the mango milk tea with chia seed. At first, I wasn't sure how the chia would taste with a milk tea but it was the "healthier" option, and I've never had it with my milk teas (nor had I seen it as an option) so I decided to take a chance. And I wasn't disappointed! LOVED it! The mango wasn't overly sweet and was quite delicious. The chia seed was a nice complement w a somewhat crunchy/seedy texture and actually did feel healthier to eat, rather than typical boba. My mom got the mango milk tea with rainbow jelly and equally agreed it was one of the best milk teas she's had. We couldn't stop talking about how yummy the drinks were. Creative Sips has a kiosk at the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum aka Oakland A's baseball park aka Ricky Henderson Field. The few A's games that I have attended this season, I always stop at this kiosk to get my boba fix. The selection is limited to what they have on hand - classic milk, truly Thai, taro time, honeydew and mango. The additions are lychee jelly, rainbow jelly, boba. As usual at the ballpark, everything is pricey. It's $7.00 for a 16-oz. glass of liquid enjoyment. I have tasted the taro, honeydew and mango flavored boba drinks. Truly Thai looks good, but I am not a sweet condensed milk fan. I haven't tried the classic milk one yet. However, my favorite is taro with lychee jelly. I don't pay full price. Being an A's Access member, I only pay $3.50. The first time I ordered a boba, there was hardly anybody waiting to order. Last week when the A's were in town, Creative Sips had a long line, one employee operating the kiosk and the service was slow. Hey, one person can't handle everything. It can be overwhelming. I am glad they have a kiosk serving boba drinks. Now if they only have Bai flavored beverages at the other concessionaires, I would go for that. read more

The were responsive and available to always answer questions and discuss options before the party. The menu they offered had a good selection and variety (something for everyone). The portions were generous as well. They also communicated throughout the party. We had a max of 100 drinks but gave instructions to go over as needed. They let me know when we were approaching our limit and made sure I was ok with going over. I found their pricing reasonable, especially for everything we got. Honey Boba is the most chewy and incredibly delicious little black pearls I've ever tasted. My company had their boba truck came by for Friday afternoon tea, and they served for different kind of frappe & smoothie ($7) or milk teas & coffee ($6) and topping with honey boba, Lychee jelly or crystal boba for extra $1. The drinks were kinda pricey. If it wasn't catered by my company, I personally don't think I would go out of my way to buy boba from this boba truck and pay this much for it. I love their Matcha or Mango smoothie drinks personally, it was very refreshing especially in this hot summer weather. Highly recommended it. I've also tried their oolong milktea with double amount of honey boba, it was way too delicious I had to ask for double! The oolong milktea was pretty damn sweet and the tea taste wasn't strong at all, but I'm just happy that I got to enjoy more honey boba to swallow down with some sugary tea drink. So I know things from a truck can't be that good, butttttt this boba truck is A M A Z I N G !!! To be honest, I was skeptical trying them, but I love milk tea and can't say no to trying new things. So I ordered their thai tea, which is called Truly Thai. I changed the honey boba (the black pearls) to crystal boba (white). I get it with light to no ice. It's just what I like in thai tea. Sweet, with a splash of milk and can't forget the pearls. They were soft and not too chewy. I always want to try their other drinks, but I can't pass up on the thai tea. Definitely in my top for thai teas. The service is really good too. The girl is friendly and fast. I never have to wait too long for my drink to be ready. Last week was my first ever First Friday experience in San Jose! In a last minute decision, we all had decided to join the festival and activities, along with appreciating our local hometown artists. :) Among the food trucks was Creative Sips, and I was curious enough to try their drinks. At Creative Sips, they do offer toppings, but they are limited to a few base drinks (not too many without milk for those who are lactose intolerant). Looking for a bright and refreshing smoothie, I went with a Mango King, and forgot to order bobba topping! Oh no. The main issue at hand, was both the size and price. Considering they are at an event and a food truck, I had assumed the inflation in price was for those reasons alone ($6 for a smoothie- topping is extra) but the drink didn't deliver the usual expectation of a mango smoothie either. Depending on your personal tastes, the Mango King is a mango smoothie mixed with orange juice, assuming there would be an extra kick to it- I gave it a chance but was disappointed with how watery the drink had been. The flavor comes off almost conflicting with an unappetizing after taste. The citrus tastes quite tangy, leading me to believe it could be fresh squeezed or just a pulp juice with the mango. For some reason, it didn't mix well with me so I would have to pass next time I see them around. For the price, you could buy a premium drink with extra toppings elsewhere, maybe they're for you- but they didn't win me over so easily. :( read more

Not trustworthy! Yesterday Creative Sips was selling Boba at "Fun Fest" at our middle school, but there was an issue, My kid told me they didn't put any sign of "no change" out. When my kid and some other friends turned in $10 or $20 bills for a Boba drink (about $5), they just said no change and didn't give them any money back or any other offer. The kids were confused and upset. Because my kid planned to use the rest of money to buy her dinner. She ended up borrowing money from a friend. Went to this food truck while at a earthquakes game. Ordered the sweet and sour with lychee jelly and the mango king with honey Boba. The sweet and sour was delicious. It was overly on the sweet side. So if you have a sweet tooth, it will hit the spot. I liked it, a lot! The mango king was Full of mango flavor. The Boba was also perfectly chewy. The reason for the three stars is service was so slow. They only had one person making the drinks and one person taking the orders. The person making the drinks if she saw several orders with mango King she tried to make a bunch of them so you didn't get your drink or your full order at the same time. This was my first time seeing a boba truck on wheels and I had to try their drinks! I had their classic milk tea really really good especially with the sea salt cream! Ordered the classic milk tea with boba. Upon ordering was told they didn't have any regular Honey boba and only had crystal boba and lychee jelly. Why didn't they put a sign up stating they didn't have any regular honey boba? I wouldn't have bothered waiting in line and ordering. So I order one since I've already waited etc and the crystal boba balls are sort of falling apart (there's crumbly bits on the bottom of the drink). Is this normal with crystal boba ? The level of sweetness also couldn't be adjusted as the milk tea was premixed. Every Friday during the warmer months I am happily graced by the presence of The Food Truck Mafia right around the corner from my work. This little truck is neat had me instantly with its modern quirkiness and they serve some of my favorite drinks. (Milk Tea addict and who doesn't love all forms of blended caffeine?) Today I tried them for the first time and grabbed a Matcha Heavan Frappe. Seriously delicious. Normally I don't like to compare, but just for some perspective I've had a many green tea lattes/frappes from different places. (Namely, lets say Green Tea Frapps from a certain big chain that you probably have a giftcard laying around for somewhere.) I honestly don't find the taste of those green tea frappucinos all that great, and usually end up adding vanilla. This awesome truck on the other hand has the best Matcha/Green Tea blended drink that I've had. I have no idea what the differences are in recipes or anything, I'm just saying Creative Sips is doing it right. Looking forward to trying some of their other drinks, the whole menu looks tasty! Came to my work for a few weeks. Highly addicting. The mint cold brew is great with the warmer temperatures. Also worth trying is the crystal boba which is not as common around here as the honey boba you often find in local pearl drink shops. Amazing. I tried the Mango King (mango smoothie) and the Truly Thai (thai iced tea), and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of ingredients. Mango King: real/freshly cut mango (I can't stand the powder or any artificial mango flavoring...yuck). I'm surprised this cup doesn't cost more! Truly Thai: also freshly brewed. It's real tea (again, not a huge fan of the thai iced tea powders). The honey boba is a great complement. I can't wait to try the other flavors. Hey all you people~ This boba truck does really well in providing some top quality drinks. My work has free coffee machines upstairs, but I actually prefer the drinks from this truck. And if you're as much of sweet tooth as I am, then you'll enjoy these recommended drinks: Matcha Heaven, White Symphony and for you coffee lovers, the White Mocha with your personal favorite amount of shots and 100% Sweetness. If you're lactose, they have a dairy-free option for their drinks. Personally, I am lactose-intolerant, but what the hey. I went for the milk option for my smoothies and coffee and I'm still here! The Matcha Heaven is just as it says it is. If you're a fan of Matcha flavored drinks and smoothies, then this one will be a right one for you. It's smooth and creamy and a good balance between not overwhelmingly sweet and just enough to keep you drinking it. The matcha flavor is also very persistent throughout the duration of the drink. It doesn't get watered down or dissipates after a while. It's always there and that's important for a matcha flavored drink/smoothie. This drink and I are for sure a Match-a made in Heaven. I'm so sorry! I tried. But seriously, you should get it! The White Symphony. Now let me start by saying, I'm glad I didn't get this one first, otherwise I don't think I would have been able to enjoy the rest of my drinks. This here drink is probably the sweetest thing on the menu. If you're a die-hard fan of sugary sweet drinks and you believe you can handle it, then by all means, get this one. It has to be my favorite one out of everything on the menu. It's really creamy and luscious. It's one that I would order everyday if I could, but to my personal health, oh boy, I don't think I could last. This one is going to hook you for sure! It's definitely music to my...tongue? Hah~ Now for the White Mocha. This one in particular, I'm a big fan of from this truck especially. They made it just the way I've always expected it to actually taste like.
