I was not a fan of a honeydew frozen slushy. I thought the little cut up bits of honeydew were really bitter and not good at all. Kind of just kept melting and there was no flavor. I just really didn't like this drink at all from the texture to the taste. I did try the pomegranate drink and I thought it was pretty good. It was tangy and sweet at the same time. With my friend, Kristin, I finally got to check them out for the first time on the early evening of Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Located on the second floor nearby Eataly, we arrived at the coconut pudding shoppe shortly before 6 PM. The tiny spot was brightly lit, clean and tidy at the time of our visit. Tong Sui's menu specializes in coconut-based desserts, drinks and fresh fruit smoothies, boasting organic, low-calorie products for guilt-free indulgement. Interestingly, there are no size options per item category. For example, all of the Fruthies and drinks from the Coconut Ice Bomb Series come only in 24oz servings whereas beverages from the Creamy Coconut Water as well as the Coconut Matcha section are offered only in 16oz sizes. I was pleased to see that they serve vegan items. Below are what we ordered: Coco Strawberry ($8.95) - Kristin enjoyed this drink of fresh strawberry, milk of choice and house-made fresh strawberry purée. She found it nice and yummy. Coconut Breeze ($9.95) - I came here specifically for this vegan beverage, one of the current Seasonal Specials from the Summer Watermelon series. Composed of Coconut water and Coconut milk, this drink is creamy, but light. Mildly sweet, the Watermelon, Grass jelly, and mix of Mini Taro Ball and Sweet Potato Ball add an array of textures from soft, chewy, to even a little crunch. Very filling, it took me hours to finish. Overall, a delightful drink that could serve as a dessert similar to the Vietnamese chè (a variety of sweet soups, beverages, puddings, and custards made with water or coconut cream and various ingredients). Service was nice and quick. When our beverages were ready for pick-up from the counter, the team member who took our order walked to the front of the store to let us know. A nice first impression Tong Sui Valley Fair left on us. I'm pretty sure that I will return, especially if they add more vegan items. Those will definitely reel me in. read more

Tong Sui in Westfield Valley Fair is a dessert shop serving up fruity, tropical drinks, puddings, and more. It's on the 2nd floor of the mall near many other restaurants/shops like Uncle Tetsu and is across from Shilin. I waited in line to order via a kiosk. It took a while for the line to move along. I noticed it's slow because it was hard to find the menu item I wanted to order and check out via the kiosk (there was no search bar, just endless scrolling or tabs with names that wasn't intuitive). I ended up asking for help from one of the staff members - they were very kind and helpful. $10.95 for a mango mochi pudding dessert is expensive in my opinion. The portion wasn't large and it was prepackaged. It had a mid size layer of "mochi" on top, a mid size layer of mango puree, and the rest was coconut pudding. Did it taste good? Yes. Would I order another one? No. It's also not for sharing with friends unless you're okay contaminating the pudding with saliva with each dip of the spoon. The container is class, so it's reusable. Ambiance wise, it's similar to ordering a boba drink type of situation. They have bench seating inside. Seems like they expect customers to enjoy the dessert outside, where there are communal seats shared across the various restaurants. Overall, although the taste was great, the cost and portion size makes Tong Sui a good stop for a once-in-a-long-while treat. I recommend trying it at least once! read more

Drinks are pretty good and prices are decent for the size in the Bay Area but best drink for me was the coconut Ice Bomb series mango with fresh mango smoothie! Can't go wrong with this! We also got their fruit Coco strawberry smoothie which was a little tart and not so sweet. Also, got their Coconut original Ice Bomb smoothie. This was good. But, since we happened to look further inside, we saw that they had a kiosk for placing orders and put in our orders that way, bypassing the long line. I tried their persimmon drink, my daughter tried their durian coconut pudding, and my friend tried a different coconut pudding. Since we were walking around the Mall and didn't get to try our items while they were still cold, I think we didn't truly experience their products the way they were meant to be... but we all agreed that our chosen items were really fresh and good tasting. Their menu does feature drinks and coconut puddings using fresh fruit so, because some of their items are seasonal, try your favorite fruit-based items when you see them featured! Regarding picking up our orders, it was chaotic and disorganized. Some people's items were placed on the counter for pick up while other's (ours) had to be requested despite being informed our order was ready for pick up.
