We were parked at this wing and upon walking in, VF is insanely busy. I have not been here in years. We just had a delicious lunch but h really needed a cold drink! Lucky Teas right there. You order on tablet, and wait to be called. Your order is then made by the workers and then your order/name is called when it's ready. I had a jasmine tea with cream, $8.50 with a tip. Overall ok. Nothing special. I guess I'm underwhelmed and the price is making it as much. Is it because I'm at the mall. Clean stand with 2 workers that I can see. The tea was ok. I actually really liked the lid, great concept.

Cure and delicious! Mango, orange, lime fruit tea.

Yummy tea at Lucky Tea! Visiting from out of town and while in the mall saw this cute spot. I was craving something fresh and the cashier helped pick me out a fruit tea. It was delicious! Mango and orange with a green tea base. She was super sweet and friendly and my tea was soo good. Will def come back anytime we are in the area!

Passion fruit green tea with boba

Did some shopping and naturally got a little parched. My sister in law and I decided to make a stop here. I ordered the passion fruit green tea with boba. The tea was fine but I was not a fan of the boba. It was extremely soft and felt it didn't add anything to the drink. My SIL also didn't enjoy her drink and regretted we didn't go somewhere else.

KEEP WALKING. If you're thinking about getting a drink here, don't do it. There's a reason this place never has a line, and unfortunately, it's because it's not good. I got the rose green tea, less sweet, with aloe vera. My "Not-So-Lucky Tea" had rose petals in it, but it tasted like pieces of paper, and overall it tasted awful. The tea itself was bad, the aloe vera wasn't fresh, and drinking what tasted like bits of paper in my drink was honestly just disgusting. Yuck! There are so many better boba options at Valley Fair. And you only have to walk a minute or two away. Skip Lucky Tea!

Ordered on a Wednesday evening and there was no line. The employee mentioned that it would be easier to look at the menu using the tablet. We ordered one of the limeade teas with lychee jelly and the coffee creama. The limeade tea was good, but it felt like it had less tea because of what's inside. The employee was super nice and the drinks came quickly. Cute spot on a second floor corner.

Fast service. We didn't have to wait that long. Cute little corner area. We enjoyed anything fruity and with the popping bubbles!

Tried it the first time and my drink was ok. Ordered a four season fruity drink (fruits and green tea) without ice and sugar. It was still too sweet for my taste. Green milk tea tasted bitter with regular sugar. Located next to mall entrance and the shop has constant flow of traffic. Friendly and courteous service. Will still give them a try.

Love stopping by here to get bubble tea if I'm at the mall. They have a strong tea flavor base which I always enjoy. My go to here is the Sun Moon Lake Black Milk Tea. The standard 50% sweet is good for me when I include boba. If I get it without, I'd up the sweetness a bit. There's options for a self serve kiosk or you can order at the front. They also keep togo bags and drink holders on the side for you to do it yourself too which is nice.

one of the boba shops in valley fair! drinks were fine, pretty standard and a little underwhelming and underflavored. they came out fast, i just probably would go to one of the other boba shops in the near vicinity.

The Dirty boba Milk is super tasty, the bottle is really cute, and the service is very fast. I highly recommend it! There are many tea shops in this mall, but this one is quick and efficient. Great choice.

Got a drink here after on the way out after a day of shopping at the mall. We ordered on a kiosk at the side and the drinks came out quickly. Got the super fruity tea and it had good tea flavor but the turn off was the "fresh fruit" they used that were clearly not fresh. The mango chunks were super dark and rotten looking so that ruined the drink for me. But the orange and lime slices seemed decent once I opened them up. Not much service since we ordered on a kiosk and they called out the name. Would get different drinks that don't rely on fruit to avoid the risk of rotten fruit in your drink.

I went with the Coffee Crunch, and honestly, it's no joke, it is delicious and absolutely packed. However, at an $11 price point, that coupon was the only thing keeping it in the "reasonable" category for me, especially since the portion is just a standard size rather than something more substantial. The layout of the place is a bit of a trip; unlike Jamba where everything is out in the open, the staff here is tucked away in a back kitchen area. I spent about five minutes waiting for my order to emerge, wondering if I'd been forgotten! But if you're looking for a quiet escape with god-tier air conditioning, this is the spot. I stopped by on a sweltering afternoon and it was nearly empty, cool as a whistle, and filled with trendy, comfortable seating rather than your typical stiff restaurant chairs. While I'm personally not a "bowl" person, the rest of the menu looks great. It's definitely got more of a local health-spot soul compared to the corporate feel of the Jamba down the street. I'll definitely be passing this place along to my pre-teen daughter, it feels exactly like the kind of trendy hangout she's going to live at as she gets older. Go for the crunch, but definitely stay for the AC.

Highly recommend it! It's layered with so many good ingredients and the flavors work perfectly together. The only small downside is that they didn't have knives or forks available. Because the toast is so stacked, it's a little tricky to eat with your hands. That said... it was so good I didn't really care. The açaí elixir was also pretty good. Refreshing and something I'd order again. Service was a little slow but friendly, and the place seemed fairly clean overall. I usually go for a bowl at places like this, so next time I definitely want to come back and try some of their açaí bowls -- but once I saw that PB&J toast on the menu, I was locked in. Overall, I liked this place and would definitely come back.

While I can't speak to most of the customer service experience, the order was packaged nicely and securely. The Avocado Toast was the star of the show for me. Probably one of the best avocado toasts I've ever had flavor-wise. While I do also appreciate a lightly salted plain avocado flavor, the cilantro + lime + chili was the kinda vibe I knew I needed (but had never experienced) in an avocado toast. The bread was thick + toasted + soft. Tasted better than I expected after reading the menu description. Pretty filling for $8.50, current economy considered ); Vanilla latte & Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant were also solid. I got an extra shot in the latte and found it to be adequately strong. The croissant sandwich was pretty good with what appeared to be real egg. My satisfaction for the value of the experience may also be skewed by the fact that I got a 40% off for $10+ deal for this meal. It's still hard for me to wrap my mind around how expensive everything has gotten. So, my 5 stars is only representative for the taste and presentation here, less so the value, ambiance, or customer service. I'd come back.

I ain't gonna lie; I'm all about customer service, good food, and value! When ordering, I was told they were out--of what I understood to be the bread--so I asked, "What other bread options do you have?" The cashier rambled off some options, including "white bread." Internal dialogue: "White bread? I didn't know that was still a thing." Turns out, next to the Texas toast, it was the lowest-carb option, so I opted for it. She rang me up at $14.50... $14.50!!! I said, "I don't understand--why is it more than double the price?" To my complete chagrin, she replied, "I have to charge you for a BLT. Would you like lettuce and tomato on your sandwich?" Mind you, they also offer a cheese melt for $6 that comes with the infamous "white bread" and melted cheese. All they would have to do is add the egg and bacon! At least, that's what makes sense to me. I said, "I'm sorry... I do not want a BLT. I just want what I ordered, and I'm okay with white bread as a substitute for the croissant." She insisted, "We can't do that." WHAT??!! I said, "Charge me for the melt, and I'll pay extra for the egg and bacon. How's that?" She said, "Sorry, we can't do that." Internal dialogue: "But they can charge me for a BLT and make substitutions..." It made absolutely no sense! She ultimately conceded--charged me for what I requested--and gave me this bland-looking thing that was barely warmed up, much less toasted! I went out of my way to support "my community" and introduce a colleague to this place. I was so embarrassed--for them and for us! Never again! To boot: I added an almond milk latte, which took way too long to come out. When I went to check on it, the barista looked at me confused. Just then, another customer ran up and said, "Oops! I grabbed your drink by accident--but I didn't drink from it yet." The top hadn't been opened, from what I could see. I surrendered, moped back to my mediocre white-bread sammy, and tried to enjoy the moment. I actually enjoyed the latte... I was about two-thirds of the way through it when I noticed the receipt said OAT MILK--instead of almond... Ayyy, mi gente! Jamás!

The menu prices posted online don't match the in-person menu. For example, the chilaquiles were listed at $17.45 online but $19.45 in-store. Online ordering uses the correct lower price. Nevertheless, the chilaquiles arrived after 15 minutes and they were phenomenal. It's surprisingly difficult to find chilaquiles that get every component right. Usually, the chips are soggy, the beans are forgettable, or the protein feels like an afterthought. Not here! The texture was exactly what I wanted. Chips were softened enough to absorb the sauce but still maintaining some structure and bite. The black beans were cooked perfectly, the jalapeños added a pleasant kick without overwhelming the dish, and the beef chorizo wasn't rationed out. There was a generous amount throughout, and every bite felt balanced. Perfect amount of salt and seasoning. Service was excellent as well. Friendly, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive. Finding parking, however, was another story. After circling the area, we eventually turned onto Auzerais Avenue, found street parking, and walked a few minutes back. Not the end of the world, but definitely something to keep in mind before visiting. Between the parking situation and the menu pricing discrepancy, there are a couple of minor annoyances. But when the food is this good, they're easy to overlook. These were some of the best chilaquiles I've had in San Jose, and that's ultimately what I'll remember. If the rest of the menu is anywhere near this level, I'll gladly be back at iJAVA.
