    Green milk tea
    Alex Z.

Hard to find a boba spot in the bay nowadays that's still about $5, but Milksha delivers! No wait on a Friday; I ordered a simple jasmine green milk tea with green tea jelly (one topping is included!) and got it after about 5 minutes. The store is small but there were two seats to sit down at while waiting. The tea itself was alright. I really liked the green tea jelly, but I wish I could've tasted the tea more. I'd say lower sweetness is important here too. No complaints for the price though!

We were craving a good drink after picking up my daughter from school and noticed this place recently opened, so we had to give it a try. The cashier was very attentive and helpful while we were ordering. We ordered: - Cloudy Cream Strawberry Uji Matcha Latte - Cloudy Cream Uji Matcha My daughter absolutely loved the strawberry matcha latte. I ordered the regular Cloudy Cream Uji Matcha and it was very good too. The sweetness level was just right and the flavors blended really well together without being overpowering. While waiting for our drinks, I noticed a sign next to the kiosk saying customers can get 15% off their first order. Kind of a bummer the cashier didn't mention it to us while ordering. Overall though, we really enjoyed the drinks and will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Huge disappointment :(((( It's not as good as their TW locations. We only got 2 simple drinks and the wait was soooooo long. It didn't look like a lot of people ordered too. We stood there after ordering to wait and they did not call a single number for 10 min straight. Everyone was confused since no drinks were coming out at all. The lady was nice and apologize for the wait but it just did not make sense. This place is located inside great mall and it doesn't really have tables / chairs for people to hang out. Most people just use the benches outside. I probably won't go back as ume tea tastes much better.

I came across this drink place that used to be Zero. I decided to try it as they had fresh taro. It was pretty good. You have an option to pick fresh milk or oat milk. Overall, I enjoyed my drink. You can order on the kiosk. There is also a 15% off your drink with a welcome special if you order by the QR code. They have opened for about a month. I was so thirsty that I finished the fresh taro drink without taking a photo of the drink. Overall, the taro was pretty fresh and I had it with oat milk. I would come back and get the drink again.

The other day I asked for a stamp card and they ran out. I was told to come back again to get it situated. The employees who were working the day I came in were really helpful! I believe it was Leanna and AJ that helped me get it resolved, they're amazinggggg!! (: Also their strawberry matcha is pretty good! Usually my go-to order. But I kinda gotta ask beforehand bc they usually run out of either the strawberry puree or boba

Replaced the famous zero& and I felt a bit disappointed. Customer service was A1 and the team were great but the drinks... all of them were just mediocre. At 100%, I expected it to be extremely sweet but all of our drinks were watered down and very very bland.

I tried Milksha while visiting Taiwan and I enjoyed their pearl milk tea! I remember it being really solid. Seeing them open in the Bay Area now, I wanted to try! Their honey boba was perfectly chewy and tasted just like the one in Taipei! + Mango Lemon Green Tea (4/5): Wasn't expecting a fruit drink to be super good from a shop with MILK in the name. However this drink was scrumptious! I just wish the green tea was more fragrant. + Single Origin Black Tea Latte (5/5): The perfect tea to milk ratio in my opinion! The tea is strong and sweet. Veryyyy creamy too! I'd come back and order this again.

Surprised by the low rating! Not only did I really like the milk, tea and the tapioca, I also thought the value was amazing - it was only like $5.5 for the Earl Gray tea latte and it was a regular size if not slightly larger than usual portion. The boba was chewy and fresh and had a good amount of sweetness. Great service too!

Milksha in Taiwan is one of my favorite boba chain. I've never been disappointed by a Milksha before until today. The drink options on menu were mostly different than the Milksha I saw in Taiwan just a few days ago, so I was a bit sad about the limited options. I would've thought it's a different store if it weren't for the logo. I figure they'd expand their menu eventually, but for this visit, I decided to stay safe with my drink choice & went w/the jasmine latte with honey boba. 1. Jasmine green tea was oversteeped so it had that extra bitter taste 2. The honey boba was okay, but it wasn't sweetened for some reason. It's also a bit chewier than the ones in Taiwan. Chewy, but not QQ enough iykyk (the comparison is still fresh in my mind because I purposely got Milksha as my last drink before ending my trip so that I can have something to compare to) 3. The taro paste was very chunky & not smooth like paste at all Hopefully their owners are reading reviews and actively improving their quality because I really loved Milksha in Taiwan & this specific location's standard is not on par with the other existing Bay Area boba places at similar price point. Maybe we got unlucky and got a bad batch, but for now, I'll stick with other boba shops in the area until they improve.

I was super happy to see they finally have milksha out here in the states because it reminds me of my time in Taiwan. You can either order at the 2 self service kiosks or up front. It's not a sit down type of place since the store is so small but that's fine since it's inside the mall. I got my go-to taro milk drink. It was ready within 5 mins. Not too bad since there were 2 orders before and after me. Honestly I didn't have too high expectations based on previous reviews but was still hoping for something considering none of them got the taro drink. Sadly the $7 drink left me pretty disappointment. There were no taro chunks nor was the drink creamy. Just had a light smear of taro paste around the cup and the milk was light and watered down. If I added any toppings like boba, it would have been $8+ ... which is not worth it to me

We decided to try this place since this was the only boba around at this section of the Great Mall. It's 2 stores down from Jollibee. They have 3 self-service kiosks, a couple of seats and a monitor to give status of your order (which I like so you're not blind to when your order is ready). I got the brown sugar with honey boba. I liked how it was super cold. It was pretty good.

Ordered on kiosk and drinks were ready in less than 5 mins. We got the jasmine green tea and the jasmine green tea latte with green tea jelly. The drinks were pretty good and both had a very strong floral taste. The jasmine green tea latte tasted a bit watered down though. Loved the green tea jelly topping! The employees were very friendly and helpful. Would come back to try their other drinks!

The salted cream cloud on top of the strawberry matcha was a highlight -- perfectly balanced and really elevated the drink. Ordering was easy with multiple screens available. Cute shop overall, though worth noting there are only four small stools inside, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to linger. One small heads-up: the lid isn't super secure, so I would avoid shaking your drink. Loved the vibe and would come back if I go back to the great mall - a nice shopping break.

For such a small space, they really knocked it out of the park when it came to the overall vibe and aesthetic. It's the perfect girly café to surprise someone with on a date or simply to catch up with a few girlfriends. We ordered the strawberry matcha and banana matcha, and the drinks are a great bang for your buck considering how large they are--my husband and I honestly could've shared one. The strawberry matcha had a pleasant, jammy fruit flavor that paired nicely with the matcha. I was especially impressed by the banana matcha, which is made with fresh bananas. You could really taste the difference, and thankfully, it didn't have that artificial banana flavor at all. The matcha itself is fairly standard in terms of quality, so I think their flavored drinks are where this place really shines. If you're a matcha purist looking for something more ceremonial or matcha-forward, this probably wouldn't be my first pick. But if you're in the mood for a fun, flavorful matcha drink in an incredibly cute setting, this place absolutely delivers. For what they're going for, it's an easy 5/5 for me. The portions are generous, the flavored matchas are tasty, and the beautiful interior makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. I'd definitely come back to try more of their specialty drinks!

Unfortunately, I couldn't stay since I had to bring the other drink home to my daughter. I tried my drink and it wasn't bad, but I didn't love it either. I actually really wanted to love it because I liked the atmosphere so much and would have enjoyed coming back to hang out there. When I got home, my daughter tried hers and said it was just okay. She didn't even finish it, which pretty much summed up how we both felt about the drinks. Cute place with a really nice ambiance, but unfortunately the drinks just weren't for us, especially for the price. Probably won't be back.

Nothing really stands out, but they get the job done if you're just looking for a quick drink. The biggest downside is the location and overall atmosphere. The shop shares a space with a Chevron gas station, and it doesn't have its own restroom. When I asked, I was told to use the Chevron bathroom, which felt unusual for a tea shop. The café also isn't the most comfortable place to hang out. I stopped by during a heat wave once and decided to stay for a bit, but it was still hot inside. I don't think the A/C was running, so I ended up leaving sooner than I planned. I could see myself grabbing a drink to go if I were already stopping for gas or just happened to be driving by. But personally, I'd rather drive a few minutes down the street to Barber Lane, where there are several other tea shops with better drinks and a more comfortable atmosphere. I can also do my grocery shopping while I'm there, so it's a much more convenient stop overall.
