Bro and I got the Thai iced tea and Bro had the blueberry Passionate both 20 oz size extra ice light sweetness. Prices are far more reasonable than some of its competitors. Went with my usual baseline order -- jasmine green milk tea with boba -- since it's the easiest way to tell how solid a shop's tea really is. We upsized to the large, which was massive, definitely shareable. The tea itself tasted fresh. We asked for 50 percent sweetness, but it was still way too sweet, so I let the ice melt a bit to balance things out. Overall, a decent drink but nothing particularly impressive. It feels like many places lean on extra sweetness to mask an average tea. The boba, though, was nicely done: fresh, chewy, and lightly sweet. Overall, a solid 4/5. read more

Hands down my favorite milk tea shop!! There's so many unique flavors, such as the pandan and Oreo milk teas. My personal favorite milk teas are the horchata milk tea and matcha milk tea and my favorite fruit tea is Peach Me Sweetea. The quality is always amazing, and I've never had any issues with my drinks throughout the many years I've gone here. I also like that the flavor doesn't get too diluted towards the end of the drink. I mostly get the milk teas, but I've heard from many people that the fruit teas are really solid as well. I also like hearing about their new flavors on the announcements page of their app, and they've definitely added a lot of new drinks and snacks on their menu since they first opened. The price of each drink is pretty standard, about $7 a cup. The store is designed so that it's more like a long counter indoors so there's limited seats inside and may feel claustrophobic to some, but they also have outdoor seating. read more

This was my first time at this location on Friday this week, June 6th. I came in to use my birthday reward since I was in the area and this seemed like the closest location to where I was. I was able to use my reward, but since the drinks are a little bit more than expected price wise, I was hoping I could pay cash since it's just a small amount. However even though there are signs outside that say no cash accepted, I don't remember seeing any signs in the store, but the lady did remind me. I feel that the service could be better as the lady seemed distracted / might be new? - I had to remind her I have the reward and wanted to use it. Also I realized I didn't get the right drink. I asked for the Matcha Thai but was given the regular Thai tea with my adjustments (at least the adjustments was right). I let it go since I like regular Thai tea as well. I do think that refusing cash is not a good option for some customers as another reviewer said and can be inconvenient if you do have cash on you and you just need to cover a small amount (like in my case). Tastea never disappoints! My favorite drink is the horchata crunch with honey boba. Something about tastea honey boba is sooo good-- this time around the boba is green! I love that they come in unique colors with the same sweet taste and soft texture. The cinnamon toast crunch on top also adds a nice touch. I also tried the shrimps with strong sauce and ranch. I visited on a Friday night around 8pm and it was PACKED (mostly with students?) and it was really loud. They closed off the bathrooms and half of the indoor seating, not really sure why. The service was amazing, even though I had ordered online through their app, I was immediately greeted by the employee and was asked if I had placed an online order. The store was packed but they still made the time to have the customer welcomed into the store. This review has nothing to do with the product and everything to do with service. I've been a repeat customer here for years, and as things have changed with renovations and the such, one thing that has remained consistent are the drinks and food, so for that Tastea deserves applause. However, today, I was greeted by maybe the rudest associate I've ever met. Kayla, here at the Berryessa location, was nothing short of impatient, non-accommodating, and rude. While I understand that this is just a job, and everyone should be given grace, customer service is something you can't rush through, and for that I am disappointed. In the future, it's probably good practice to not cut your customers off in the middle of their order. It's probably not good practice to breathe so deeply over drink adjustments when they're literally readily available to be made on the app. And it's certainly good practice to provide a welcoming environment that encourages people, like I have done for years, to return for more. read more

This location was busyyy but the staff was efficient at working the line and getting out drinks on a timely manner. I was so excited to see that they have stevia as a sweetener option! They also have dairy alternatives. I ordered a peach me sweetea with stevia sweetener with aloe. It was delicious and refreshing!
