Tried this location because boyfie and I were craving a sweet treat after dinner and wanted a place to catch up on some paperwork. There was ample seating and we got lucky to get the table by the window where we could people watch! Tiramisu Matcha: got a text for BOGO tiramisu matcha so had to give it a try! We ordered online and the drinks were ready when we arrived. The ladyfinger was a cute addition, and I preferred to let mine soak into the drink for softer texture but you can have it as a crunchy treat when you first get the drink too. Would come back to try their new flavors! I'm also a fan of their purple rice yogurt so I'll be on the lookout for that back on the menu!

Good milk tea location. Definitely above average quality drinks and pretty quick with the service. However, due to their location, I don't have the luxury to make time to driver by establishment. Maybe next time I'm around the neighborhood I'll grab another drink from them. Quality of food: A Quality of service: A Price: $ - $$

Worst visit ever! Don't take me wrong, I love this location because it always fire, drinks and services r always A+. But yesterday was my first time experience being not respected by a cashier/ barista like this( the girl worked on the evening shift on Thursday was really rude and unwelcoming). I ordered 6 drinks in total ( I always order their yogurt in circle cups instead of the square cause it's more convenient on holding). The yogurts were good as usual( recommend their mango, it's the reason I come back a lot), but the grape tea was in the opposite. It was bland and watered down. They totally forgot to add sugar into my drink. I ordered 30% of sugar all the time and it was sweet. But this time it was only bitter, bitter and BITTER!

They had a promotion to try the new matcha tiramisu latte and was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely more of a dessert drink and on the sweeter side. The Boba texture was perfect and it was a good mix of creaminess and a hint of chocolate from the Tiramisu aspect. I always order on their online app so that it's ready to go. There's definitely a lot more locations of this popping up in the Southbay.

Great customer services. Super cute decoration. They have couple tables and games. Boba was chewy. Tea was strong flavor.

Cute little store with the cutest decor. It's a small shop. But they have a wide menu, with large portions. Nothing that wowed me but nothing that was bad.

Yummy boba drinks where you can customize sugar and ice levels. Friendly staff. Popcorn chicken was delicious! You can choose it to be spicy or non-spicy. Clean and simple interior. Just a few tables inside. Street parking.

A new boba spot opened up near our house. Much better than then previous boba spot it replaced. I got the Oreo Creme Brulee Boba Oolong Milk tea. A perfect blend of oreo on the bottom and a surprisingly sweet brulee flavor up top! We also tried the Chili BBQ popcorn chicken. They gave us a hefty portion which had some kick and was deliciously flavored. The inside is decorated super cute! And the staff is super friendly and inviting. The gal at the counter even gave my daughter a small stuffed animal. We'll be back!

Santa Clara University students watch out there's a new boba shop in town. Located right by SCU, parking is few and very difficult to find. The interior is small and cute and the noise level is average. There's a good amount of seating which is always a pleasure. Mango fresh milk w/ pudding (5/5): so yummy. It's not overwhelmingly sweet (I got 50% and light ice). There were a good amount of sour mango bits that really complimented the sweetness. Adding on the soft jello like texture of the pudding makes this drink top tier. Tap to pay is accepted. Service was quick. Overall, Ume Tea is a cute and awesome boba shop. The drinks are top notch and service is great. I will definitely be returning.

How is the parking? Is this inside a shopping mall?

There are two short period of time parking spaces directly in front of the store which helps other than that there's street parking available only.

I went with the Coffee Crunch, and honestly, it's no joke, it is delicious and absolutely packed. However, at an $11 price point, that coupon was the only thing keeping it in the "reasonable" category for me, especially since the portion is just a standard size rather than something more substantial. The layout of the place is a bit of a trip; unlike Jamba where everything is out in the open, the staff here is tucked away in a back kitchen area. I spent about five minutes waiting for my order to emerge, wondering if I'd been forgotten! But if you're looking for a quiet escape with god-tier air conditioning, this is the spot. I stopped by on a sweltering afternoon and it was nearly empty, cool as a whistle, and filled with trendy, comfortable seating rather than your typical stiff restaurant chairs. While I'm personally not a "bowl" person, the rest of the menu looks great. It's definitely got more of a local health-spot soul compared to the corporate feel of the Jamba down the street. I'll definitely be passing this place along to my pre-teen daughter, it feels exactly like the kind of trendy hangout she's going to live at as she gets older. Go for the crunch, but definitely stay for the AC.

Highly recommend it! It's layered with so many good ingredients and the flavors work perfectly together. The only small downside is that they didn't have knives or forks available. Because the toast is so stacked, it's a little tricky to eat with your hands. That said... it was so good I didn't really care. The açaí elixir was also pretty good. Refreshing and something I'd order again. Service was a little slow but friendly, and the place seemed fairly clean overall. I usually go for a bowl at places like this, so next time I definitely want to come back and try some of their açaí bowls -- but once I saw that PB&J toast on the menu, I was locked in. Overall, I liked this place and would definitely come back.

While I can't speak to most of the customer service experience, the order was packaged nicely and securely. The Avocado Toast was the star of the show for me. Probably one of the best avocado toasts I've ever had flavor-wise. While I do also appreciate a lightly salted plain avocado flavor, the cilantro + lime + chili was the kinda vibe I knew I needed (but had never experienced) in an avocado toast. The bread was thick + toasted + soft. Tasted better than I expected after reading the menu description. Pretty filling for $8.50, current economy considered ); Vanilla latte & Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant were also solid. I got an extra shot in the latte and found it to be adequately strong. The croissant sandwich was pretty good with what appeared to be real egg. My satisfaction for the value of the experience may also be skewed by the fact that I got a 40% off for $10+ deal for this meal. It's still hard for me to wrap my mind around how expensive everything has gotten. So, my 5 stars is only representative for the taste and presentation here, less so the value, ambiance, or customer service. I'd come back.

I ain't gonna lie; I'm all about customer service, good food, and value! When ordering, I was told they were out--of what I understood to be the bread--so I asked, "What other bread options do you have?" The cashier rambled off some options, including "white bread." Internal dialogue: "White bread? I didn't know that was still a thing." Turns out, next to the Texas toast, it was the lowest-carb option, so I opted for it. She rang me up at $14.50... $14.50!!! I said, "I don't understand--why is it more than double the price?" To my complete chagrin, she replied, "I have to charge you for a BLT. Would you like lettuce and tomato on your sandwich?" Mind you, they also offer a cheese melt for $6 that comes with the infamous "white bread" and melted cheese. All they would have to do is add the egg and bacon! At least, that's what makes sense to me. I said, "I'm sorry... I do not want a BLT. I just want what I ordered, and I'm okay with white bread as a substitute for the croissant." She insisted, "We can't do that." WHAT??!! I said, "Charge me for the melt, and I'll pay extra for the egg and bacon. How's that?" She said, "Sorry, we can't do that." Internal dialogue: "But they can charge me for a BLT and make substitutions..." It made absolutely no sense! She ultimately conceded--charged me for what I requested--and gave me this bland-looking thing that was barely warmed up, much less toasted! I went out of my way to support "my community" and introduce a colleague to this place. I was so embarrassed--for them and for us! Never again! To boot: I added an almond milk latte, which took way too long to come out. When I went to check on it, the barista looked at me confused. Just then, another customer ran up and said, "Oops! I grabbed your drink by accident--but I didn't drink from it yet." The top hadn't been opened, from what I could see. I surrendered, moped back to my mediocre white-bread sammy, and tried to enjoy the moment. I actually enjoyed the latte... I was about two-thirds of the way through it when I noticed the receipt said OAT MILK--instead of almond... Ayyy, mi gente! Jamás!

The menu prices posted online don't match the in-person menu. For example, the chilaquiles were listed at $17.45 online but $19.45 in-store. Online ordering uses the correct lower price. Nevertheless, the chilaquiles arrived after 15 minutes and they were phenomenal. It's surprisingly difficult to find chilaquiles that get every component right. Usually, the chips are soggy, the beans are forgettable, or the protein feels like an afterthought. Not here! The texture was exactly what I wanted. Chips were softened enough to absorb the sauce but still maintaining some structure and bite. The black beans were cooked perfectly, the jalapeños added a pleasant kick without overwhelming the dish, and the beef chorizo wasn't rationed out. There was a generous amount throughout, and every bite felt balanced. Perfect amount of salt and seasoning. Service was excellent as well. Friendly, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive. Finding parking, however, was another story. After circling the area, we eventually turned onto Auzerais Avenue, found street parking, and walked a few minutes back. Not the end of the world, but definitely something to keep in mind before visiting. Between the parking situation and the menu pricing discrepancy, there are a couple of minor annoyances. But when the food is this good, they're easy to overlook. These were some of the best chilaquiles I've had in San Jose, and that's ultimately what I'll remember. If the rest of the menu is anywhere near this level, I'll gladly be back at iJAVA.
