Best place for easy coffee! This location is very fast and their coffee is usually on point. It's usually pretty empty in there so if you need a quiet location to get some work done this is a good spot.
I stopped by to grab a half gallon of Thai iced tea for a get together later. Luckily, they were having a 20% off deal, so yay for me! This used to be my favorite 7Leaves location - I'd stop by and grab a drink (or several, if co-workers wanted something) before heading into work. 7Leaves is one of the only milk tea shops around that are open early enough, so I took advantage of that. However, I've noticed that the quality has been slipping for the past few months. This visit was a prime example of that. Staff was fine - helpful and quick. They took my order and got everything ready in a short amount of time. The problem was with my order - a half gallon of the Thai iced tea, easy sweet. For whatever reason, I didn't get a cup holder for my cups of ice and everything was thrown into a bag. I should of asked for one, but I figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Wrong - the cups popped their lids and ice got all over the bag and leaked into my car. Okay - again, no big deal. Ice will melt, just gotta clean it up. I finally get home and noticed that the Thai ice tea was really light in color - not that red/orange-color that is so typical of Thai tea. I didn't think too much about it, stuck it in the fridge and got ready for my get together. Once I opened it later, I realized it tasted more like milk than Thai iced tea. I asked my friends to try because maybe it was just me - nope. The half gallon was mostly milk with hints of Thai ice tea - not the strong flavor I loved from 7Leaves. We didn't finish it since it was milky. Such a bummer - I was really looking forward to my Thai tea! Not sure how 7Leaves drinks are measured, but it seems like their recipes vary from location to location recently. There should be some standard of measurement so my easy sweet isn't too sweet at one location while just milk at another.
I always get the Mung bean when I'm here! And I always have to get 2 because I finish it so quickly! If you're in the area and you like mung bean, I highly rec! The staff is also really nice and helpful as well. I've also tried their passionfruit before and that's also a solid choice!
08/07/2025 I don't know how many times I have to put it in review but this place really hates giving any adequate amount of boba. I paid for it. But it barely filled two rows of boba. (Check photo) And less ice was really regular ice... Very unfortunate. It's close to home but maybe we should start going further away just to get our moneys worth. I hope they stop skimping out customers

7 Leaves is one of those places I get excited about whenever I see a location. It started out as an Orange County chain and has been growing, and for good reason--their drinks are consistently great. My go-to is the mung bean boba, which is unique and delicious, but honestly, everything I've tried has been solid. If you're into boba or just want a refreshing drink, 7 Leaves is always worth a stop.
I've been coming here multiple times because their Vietnamese iced coffee is simply irresistible. I like picking up multiple drinks so I can drink them over the next few days because I don't live around here. But what is this? The top is empty and missing easily 8 ounces of my coffee. This is what you get when you ask for no ice I guess. I don't like asking for light ice because it waters the drink down. I'm annoyed because I paid extra for upsizing too.
Since they first came up from SoCal 5 years ago, 7Leaves now has multiple locations throughout San Jose. This location was the second one they opened. Thankfully gone are the days of waiting in hour long lines. Ordering through their app gives you rewards points (leaves) and it is painless! There's a decent amount of parking in this plaza. It is conveniently located off of Saratoga and close to 280. To me, it feels that this location has the fastest pickup times in comparison to the other locations. The shop only has 4 small tables and generally has been quiet every time I visited. Would be great for studying or chatting with friends. The Matcha Soy Tea was good as usual. Easy sweet is the lowest option you can go for their drinks' sugar level. I would also recommend their Strawberry Hibiscus Tea and Love Cream (off their secret menu). When close by, it's a place to go to for a convenient tea fix!
Always good on a hot day. Their summer mint with aloe Vera is so refreshing. Quick service too. Just parking is a bit hard sometimes. But still my go to place for cooking drink.
Located along Saratoga Ave, available parking spots are quite limited and the lot is pretty small. There's a few tables to sit and chill which is nice. Assam milk tea (2/5): It was way too sweet for 100% sweetness. The boba wasn't bad though. The tea was non existent as it was mostly covered up by the sweetness. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, 7 Leaves could use some improvement.
One of the better locations despite it being in a strip mall, due to it's close proximity to the freeway, parking is decent and service here is quick with just enough seating. Sea Cream Black Coffee is a perfect way to start the day with a good cup of coffee and the sea salt cream topping gives the coffee a great mouthfeel and richness to the drink. The sweetness is just right and the sea salt enhances it well. Easy to drink and good amount of caffeine. Whenever they have the Garlic Cream Cheese Brioche, I get it. Unfortunately, this last visit the brioche seemed a bit stale and very cold. 7 Leaves has their own app for rewards, you can scan your QR code for points.
If you're looking for hot coffee, that's delicious or other coffee. I highly recommend this place. They're always on time.
The service was really nice. He was very chill and thorough with his explanation on the drinks. I did not feel rushed at all. My favorite is the Barney, i don't know how secret menu this drink is, but the combination of mung bean and taro is so yummy. The creaminess and the sweetness is strong (so if you dont like sweet drinks, get extra ice or less sweet if possible.
Service was super fast. I had made my order and walked to the table to sit down, and before I knew it, the order was done. There weren't too many available tables. It did feel like a first come, first serve place. It's not like the other locations where there were way too many tables and chairs available. There was bar seating should anyone want to sit down. The drink itself was very refreshing. I've had some of the other items before in other locations, so I wanted to try something else. read more

Went here an hour before closing time and unfortunately they ran out of boba. They only had enough boba for one drink so we let our brother have it. I got the pandan mung bean milk tea drink with their lowest level of sugar and my drink was so sweet. It was okay. Tried my brothers green Thai tea with boba which was decent and my other brother's strawberry hibiscus tea was refreshing. read more

Love coming here to get my coffee fix! My favorite is their house coffee with second being their Vietnamese coffee. It's just the right amount of coffee and that salted coal foam just makes it even better adding a creamier taste. read more
It's Friday so of course I need a little sweet treat! I ordered the Assam milk tea (easy - less sugar) with less ice too. It was perfectly sweet. I like the strong taste of the tea. I got grass jelly, but honestly it didn't come with much so I'm a bit disappointed. I had to really search for it in my cup and none was coming up the straw. The service was great and the lady helping us was sweet. The shop is clean. My mom got the matcha soy and it was tasty too! read more
What can I say? I've never really had a bad drink from 7 Leaves Cafe, but maybe I'm biased after growing up in Southern California. (Please bring the drive-thrus to the Bay Area!!!) This location is in a dingy strip mall, but there's usually parking. The staff here are super quick and online ordering is easy, especially when I need some morning caffeine at 8 am. There's a few tables for seating inside, but it's probably the smallest location I've ever seen. My recommendations: + Sea Cream Jasmine Tea + Japanese Matcha Soy + Brazilian Lemonade + Iced House Coffee + Oolong Milk Tea read more

7Leaves will always be one of my most favorite boba shops! Being from SoCal, I'm so happy to see them expand up to NorthCal as well! Ordering on their app is easy and you can earn reward points per order to get a free drink once you've collected enough. My all time favorite drink is the Assam Milk Tea, it's excellent and the flavor is always perfect. I also really enjoy their House Coffee and Green Thai Tea. The other drinks are tasty too, but it's hard to stray from my favorites. read more

Visited on 1/10/24, staff was very chill. We ordered dumplings from the place next door without realizing it's not a sit down so we came over to 7Leaves to ask if we can eat our food there. The cashier gave us permission and we went ahead with ordering our drinks. I ordered the Japanese Matcha Soy since there was a Double Leaves offer and my friend got the Mung Bean Milk Tea. Both were solid as always! As we sat at our table, the cashier gave us 2 coupons for $1 off their Matcha series that we can use at any location which was cool. I guess 7Leaves is really promoting their Matcha drinks which is great for me since I usually order their matcha drinks anyways. Would def come again if in the area! read more
The place has real good drinks. And the service is fast and smooth. They are tech savy, and even tough the place is small you can expect a large crowd to always be hanging around because how good their drinks are. Try my favorite Mung bean milk tea with boba! read more

I enjoy 7 Leaves drinks, their mung bean milk tea is always yummy! I came here to study/work and the ambience was great! Some chill music, and limited seating, and dimmer yellow lighting. There was only about 2 outlets if you need to charge you will have to try and get the two tables by the walls! The drinks came out very quickly as well and tasted great! I have gone to this location quite a few times in the past year or so, and I've always been satisfied by what I've ordered. My go-to drink is the House Coffee, which I think is a refined take on traditional Vietnamese coffee. The sweetness, bitterness, and other flavors are really well balanced. I prefer hot drinks, but this is also good iced. I haven't explored the menu much, but the "Black and Tan" (app exclusive..) is a fun mix of coffee and tea. I also must specially call out the Santa's House Coffee, which adds chocolate sea cream and peppermint bits to the House Coffee and makes it an almost-perfect drink! If only it was available year-round... I usually order to-go, but I have only good things to say about the location and staff. My drinks are always ready by the scheduled time. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this or other branch locations! read more
Dear god this was so artificially sweet and so packed with ice. At least when all that ice melted it diluted the drink and made it drinkable. For a place called "7 Leaves" I didn't taste a single one; tasted like that cheap powdered flavoring. But I guess some people do like that taste. read more
Always great at any location! Normally I grab any of the coffees, but because of the heat wave I was feeling something a little more refreshing. The green Thai tea was so good! Now I'm craving it. Quick quality service and a clean interior where we sat and sipped for a bit. read more
