Parking is limited. Nice interior. I had the Che bambu special #1, ordered with no sugar added. It's very refreshing with coconut water and basil seeds but a bit pricey $8. We ordered Vietnamese traditional coffee with less ice and added boba, the coffee is strong and a bit bitter, the way we like it, boba is soft, not too hard. The only downside is the coffee has too much ice, even we specified less ice when we ordered. Pandan waffle was average, it's soft, not crispy at all.
Convenient location, but the drinks fell short. The ordering kiosk doesn't allow you to adjust sweetness or ice, and they lack basic black and green tea options. My refresher was overpowering, syrupy, and came with so little ice that it wasn't even cold. For the price, I expected a more balanced drink. I don't plan on coming back unless the menu becomes more customizable.
Che is good, not too sweet. $9 for large size, but I would say that large is so regular sized.

Bambū is the OG of boba places. I can remember having it when I first came to the Bay Area. Was in the area so we stopped in for a jasmine milk tea with boba and hazelnut mocha blend then decided to share a halo halo and waffle. The service was friendly and food came out quickly. There are several tables to seat and hang out. The music playing was set to a good volume and was super upbeat.
Drink was very bland, I think they forget the coconut milk and sugar tbh. Atleast it came out quick

There are many so it all depends on what you like in your che. The menu is easy to view and breaks down all of the ingredients in each che. Each che's base is either coconut milk or coconut water. They even have a Halo Halo version I'd like to try out soon! BAMBU has boba drinks and smoothies too! Don't sleep on it. The front worker that helped us was very friendly. Our ches were made quickly. We got them to-go but there's a very spacious dining area to sit and enjoy your desserts or drinks!
Was craving for a smoothie, so I tried this place out. They have some of my favorite choices for smoothies including durian, and avocado, but I ended up with a large size of taro smoothie, and a panda waffle. The taro smoothie was super tasty, it have a lot of flavor. The pandan waffle was crispy outside, and mochi likes on the inside. It was also good. Though these 2 items were a lot of food for me, and I got full pretty fast.
This place is so good. I tried it once and this has now become my treat yourself spot. I get the Bambi Favorite at 50% sweetness. They are always so quick.
Ah, another Bambu location! They are located in a small strip mall close to Subway. The parking lot is small but the turnover is quick. Spacious interior with several tables to sit at and relax. A quiet place to study or work. Order via kiosk or cashier. The owner was friendly and helpful! One unisex restroom. Bambu Favorite: red tapioca, grass jelly, panda jelly, & coconut milk. I love Bambu but this location is super inconsistent. My most recent visit, I believe the owner, helped me and made my drink. Personally am not a fan of her customer service and how she makes the drinks. I got the bambu favorite, my go to, with no grass jelly. The drink itself had no sweetness and all the pandan jelly's were stuck together. I know naturally that may happen but wasn't edible as it's just a big blob vs smaller chunks. Other times, the drink taste fine sweetness level wise but it's just too inconsistent for me. Although this locations close, I'd rather go to the Sunnyvale one. read more
My mom loves coming here, and I have to admit, their drinks look very appealing. The place is small, with just a few tables, but I really like how they have two large screens on the left wall showcasing their popular drinks and snacks. The lady who works here is very friendly, and I appreciate how she always remembers to make my mom's drink with no sugar since my mom sometimes forgets to ask. That said, I've tried a few of their drinks myself, and they've just been bland. I never end up finishing them because the flavor just isn't there. Customer service is bad! OMG! I used to be a frequent customer until I have spoken to the manager about an order that mistakenly made. No care! In fact she was upset! Not only the price went up recently, the service went downhill too. read more

Unique south Asian ingredients and flavors. On a hot day, I was surprised to see nobody inside. My first time here, so went with a recommendation and got Bambu Favorite: Red tapioca: bright, crunchy little things. Quite unique as you don't normally see this in standard boba fare Grass Jelly: an acquired taste, well, there really isn't much taste. But I grew up eating this so very fond of its comfort appeal Pandan Jelly: by process of elimination, this must be the green colored jelly strips. Yummy - except I can't really pinpoint the flavor. Great color though! In the middle of it all is a sno cone surrounded by coconut milk. It's tricky to have to stir and mix everything but they do give you both a straw and spoon to help negotiate all the ingredients. In fact, it's so loaded with goodies that I can't really say this is a drink - more like a slushy cold soup. Looking forward to the next visit perhaps to try the Fruit Addict or Summer Delight. Located in a business center so parking is super easy I enjoy the SF location because you can customize your own che too but here it's all pre-set which is no problem They have lavender milk tea - yeee! Had to get my hand on one of those - taste a little bit like the powder packets but with a stronger tea taste, not a bad thing and probably wouldn't oppose to ordering it again Got a #10 - the Bambu favorite, it was good **Dine-in is available as there several tables of 2 seaters and a couple 4-6 seaters ***Hours are pretty limited, closes on 6pm or 7pm on the weekdays/weekends read more
Compared to the other locations, this Bambu provides quick and excellent customer service. I was hesitant to take a break to Bambu during work as I have always been used to the slow customer service. This joint on the other hand shocked me when our 6 drinks were made within minutes of ordering. I ordered the #10 Bambu Favorite which has the sweetened coconut milk as a base along with pandan jelly, red bean, and grass jelly as toppings. Yum! read more
Haven't had Bambu in awhile, and surprised this is one of the few locations left in the bay area. The hours are limited compared to other boba shops, and we placed an order on the app to make sure we didn't miss the 7 pm closing time. There is $1 charge to place an order on the app, which is odd. When we got there 10 minutes later, they still had not gotten the order and mentioned their mobile orders weren't working. I like how you can add some toppings free of cost, so I got mango jelly and boba with my mango green tea. The size of the boba is a bit smaller than others, but the prices are fair. At 25% sweetness, it was the perfect sweet for me. The fresh mango in the drink was a bit too tart and sour though for me. Overall, good boba, hopefully they work out the kinks with their app. read more

This is the second BAMBU drink shop I've visited in 2 days. The drinks could be great but I've had issues with the service and my orders at both the San Jose and Sunnyvale locations. In one location the girl wouldn't add whipped cream to my drink. At the other, my drinks were made without sugar at the suggestion of the owner even though I protested. The people working are getting in their own way. read more

Delicious! I love the coconut milk! The taro lover and halo halo are my favorite. I also tried #13 today and it was very refreshing. The place is very clean and the staff are so nice. The place is kind of hidden; it's where the Starbucks used to be. There's lots of parking! read more

Delicious avocado dessert drink, made with boba, coffee, and rainbow jelly. It's normally made with condensed milk, but I order mine with coconut milk instead. Sorry about the picture, I just couldn't wait to eat it. read more

Very welcoming desserts and drinks shop. Vibrant and uplifting space, nice variety of seating, with a great menu of drinks. I'm so happy to know of a place that has many options for whatever I'm in the mood for. Some drink examples I'd recommend: - Great afternoon pick me up: avocado and vietnamese coffee smoothie - There are many options for the vietnamese coffee with unique adds (iced / blended) - For a refreshing light dessert: the yogurt combo parfait (fresh fruit with tart vietnamese yogurt blended) - Many of the che dessert drinks feel light and refreshing with fresh coconut juice (they cut the coconuts fresh for the drinks)! - Lavender blended milk tea: fragrant smoothie type tea - Thai Tea was one of the strongest Thai Teas I've tried, full of flavor Many of the drinks, along with being fresh + flavorful are very colorful! Would be a nice party drink / dessert for events. read more
