Sharetea is my staple mall boba! The boba and flavors are consistent and don't disappoint. I got the Regular Pearl Milk tea with boba and jelly and it's really good. I have also gotten the fruity flavors such as the Strawberry Fruit tea with boba and jelly. I definitely also like the Mango and Passionfruit tea. I think this is a solid boba place and I definitely will be going back to try more of the fruit flavors! read more

I love Sharetea because they have honey sweetener alternatives and don't charge you for it! The girl at the register who took my order was very nice and let me use a $1 off coupon that expired the day prior to my visit. I wish there were more milk tea shops like Sharetea that offer healthier alternatives like honey sweetener without charging you extra. Very clean store, especially for one that is located in a huge mall. read more

Two stars for consistent, perfectly textured boba, but zero stars for their recent Classic Green Milk Tea - which, after drinking it 2-3 times/week BEFORE COVID, has completely changed since their initial closure after the lockdown. When they first reopened, we were so excited to order from them again (via DoorDash) but it turns out, the Classic Green Milk Tea tastes like a watery version of the original (we always order light ice, and we order delivered frequently, so we're certain that the ratio/ingredients of the actual milk tea have changed - & that it isn't as a result of the delivery process). The Sharetea on El Camino is SPOT ON with the flavor/consistency of their Classic Green Milk Tea - and, too, it's quite a bit further from us - so we're certain that it's the VF location whose product has changed since March. Best tea ever, I had the oolong creama with boba and egg pouding in half the sweeten, perfect perfect sweeten, tea was flavorful, boba and pudding were soft and chewy at the same time. There are lots tea place in the bay area, but this place definitely top it all. My friend ordered a fruity combo kinda tea, and she said it was also one of the best she had. read more

Came back from San Diego for a short break and went to valley fair my fav mall for boba. They made the drink super fast even though it was super crowded. The drink is good, the cashier made a good recommendation on the sweet level I got it for 30% sweet. Would definitely recommend! read more

Sharetea will do if you can't find any other boba spot. It's very very average milk tea...drinks from here are either too sweet or too milky for me, not enough tea flavor. It's not necessarily bad though. My top choices for here are honey milk tea with small pearls, and the okinawa milk tea with small pearls. They are some of the more flavorful ones with a slight sweetness and heavier tea flavor. Din tai Fung across the way, has muchhh better milk tea. I love the green milk tea there and you CAN go in and order just a drink ;) read more

consistently okay boba in Valley Fair. never set your expectations too high here and you'll never be disappointed I've never had anything that struck me as bad, although some drinks cam be on the sweet side, but I've never had anything that screamed 'I NEED to come here again!' good for a quick drink when waiting for Din Tai Fung though! read more

Boba/pearl is sweet. 30% sugar should be enough, or just no boba. Milk cap/creama is good, but they don't offer the lid with an opening so you have to drink with straw. read more

Sharetea at Valley Fair mall has the worst customer service ever! The employees on 1/9/2018 (night shift; around 7 pm) displayed behavior that was unprofessional, immature, and disrespectful. I have been to plenty of milk tea shops and other Sharetea locations as well, never once have I ever felt this disrespected or encountered something of this sort. Upon walking in, I saw two employees squatting behind the counter. If they were trying to hide, they sure did a poor job because the audible laughter was a dead give away. Rather than greeting me, they laughed at some video on their cellphones. I stood at the register for a while and looked directly at them. Still no acknowledgement. They likely didn't notice because video on the phone was so captivating. Finally, I spoke up and said "Hello." This seemed to startled the squatters. One of them hastily sprouted up behind the cash register to take my order. For those that don't already know Sharetea offers fresh milk, with an option of three different tea choices that can be added to their milk teas. Due to my own preference, I opted out of tea choice and just wanted fresh milk and pudding. The cashier asked if this is what I wanted. I told her yes. She glanced over and gave a particular look to the barista. Reasonably, I had my suspicions and needed to keep an eye on my drink as it was being made. (I didn't want a surprise serving of saliva as an addition.) I stood and waited near the counter. This wait wasn't without any action behind the scenes. I witnessed horseplay and shoving. I overheard them mocking my choice of drink. Accompanied by shoving each other, they made statements such as: -"why would she order this?" -"hahaah I don't want to make this, you make this." -"YOU make this." -"YOU make it." This back and forth made their feelings about my visit very clear. All four refused to make my order. I wasn't aware that opting out on tea was such a huge deal. For instance, PurpleKow is known for their fresh milk with pudding. Sharetea offers options for a reason : to be OPTIONS. The tea portion was optional. Sharetea, please educate your staff on your product or take fresh milk off the menu and don't offer custom drinks. And maybe have a professional shift manager on duty. Thanks! read more

We tried the strawberry black tea, Okinawa pearl milk tea, ginger milk tea and here's our reviews. Ginger milk tea - 1/5 barely any ginger taste in the tea, overly sweet (even when I asked for less sugar) and all you taste is sugar with the faintest taste of ginger. I really hoped it would be good but don't bother trying this at the store. Okinawa milk tea - 3.5/5 This was not bad! Tasted the distinct brown sugar in the tea which was pretty good and milky. Definitely not as sweet as the ginger milk tea even though we didn't ask them for less sweet. Strawberry black tea - tastes as the name suggests and our favorite flavor of the lot because it had distinct tea and strawberry flavor which was refreshing. Not too sweet too which was nice. Overall, not a bad place to try out since bubble tea options around this area limited so you can't complain haha but if you want diabetes, order the ginger milk tea (no don't, save yourself $5 bucks) read more

I got the Cocoa Lover... drink tastes good but black pearl is super bland. The server didn't give me any ice when i clearly stated that i wanted regular sweetness and ice level. (Or maybe the ice melted due to whatever reason) I would maybe come back. read more

It's cool they opened a new milk tea place at Valley Fair, however I thought the prices were really overpriced (without boba too)!! I got the grapefruit green tea with 30% less sugar. Thankfully I read the sign or else, typically fruit teas are sweet even with 50%? Service here was average and didn't take long for them to make my drink. However, my drink ended up being not what I expected. It just wasn't refreshing as I thought it would be for grapefruit tea. Overall, I may want to come back to try their other drinks but only if I'm desperate. read more

I don't know if Sharetea is for me. This is my second time at one and the drinks are just soooo sweet. Even with 0% sweetness my drink had me puckering. I ended up tipping some out (messily due to that plasti-wrap top) and reverse siphoning (ok, pouring) water in to swish around with my straw to make it more drinkable. Next time, I think I'm going to just ask what their least sweet tea is, even if I don't like the flavor and go with that. The kids who worked here were great and had my drink ready super quick - so that was nice. read more

Sharetea isn't the best, but it does a few drinks right. For me, it's the whole lemon green tea (except they made it differently on my recent trip, not sure if that's a new thing or a mistake). I also really enjoy their mango green milk tea. Overall, it'll be pricey since they are in Westfield. I would highly suggest using Yelp to order ahead as this place can get busy. But there is a chance they may not even have made your order when you arrive so be sure to check. Honestly, I prefer Rabbit Rabbit Tea over this place, but sometimes the convenience of its location makes it worthwhile. read more

Sharetea is located in Valley Fair Mall, down the escalator from the food court across from Din Tai Fung. I love their fresh milk matcha tea boba! I always get one when I come to the mall. I really like that you can order less sweet and less ice! I don't like sickly sweet boba so I get 30% sweetness (the lowest level besides unsweetened) and it's enough for me. read more

I came here yesterday and ordered 2 QQ happy family milk tea, both with less ice. It was clear that one of my orders had way less drink in it while the other was filled to the brim. In addition, the same cup with less milk tea, did not have egg pudding in it whatsoever and I was looking forward to satisfying my taste buds . How do you miss an entire topping? Also good to note: this ShareTea location does not make their drink as sweet as the other places. I've always asked for 30% sweetness at other locations and they hit the spot but this place isn't that sweet. 30% sweetness = 0% sweetness. read more

I love this place!! If I ever go shopping at Valley Fair and need my boba fix, this is where I go. It's right across from Din Tai Fung on the first floor, so sometimes there can be a long line, but it's worth it! You can also order online and pick it up in store if you don't want to wait. They make drinks pretty fast though, so even if the line is long, it moves quickly. So far I've tried the wintermelon milk tea and green milk tea with boba. Both are so good and tastes so refreshing! They both weren't too sweet and I love that they taste creamier and milkier than other milk tea places. The boba was also delicious. It's sweet, chewy, and has a great texture. Stop by this boba joint if you're ever in Valley Fair! You won't regret it :) read more

As a typical asian boba-loving individual, it is quite hard for me to rate low on a good boba chain store but let's be honest here no matter what. Dear management team, you really need to figure it out after you read my review. Store Ambience - I'm really impressed you picked such a huge store (which I bet will cost a lot) in the busy mall. For a boba place, you could have also get a small counter at the food court but you put in a lot for rent (looks like it). Line - Are you kidding me? Ok, I completely understand how boba stores can get crowded esp in this mall when your store is the only choice. However, after I see your employees chatting and trying to find out how to make our orders, I don't think you have trained your employees enough yet. This is the only reason the line is that long. I experienced a lady asking to fix her tea because it wasn't what she ordered. The cashier is also not familiar with what is on the menu. I get a drink which sweetness level cannot be adjusted and she asked me what sweetness level I wanted, so I thought this place has option. Then, she said the sweetness cannot be adjusted for this drink. REALLY?!? Please go get familiar with your menu. Boba places usually doesn't take that long to place an order. I've talked to a couple people in the store standing in line. They had same concern and said they will never come back to this place. (-1 star) Price - You marked up the price high too huh? I'm a little bit concerned because a boba drink in this mall is similar to a foodcourt lunch in this mall. Something to think about.... (-1 star) Quality - What if I tell you I cannot even finish my boba (when sharetea is my usual go-to boba place). Yes, I threw it away halfway thinking I might get diabetes if I ever finish that drink. You really need to train your employees how to make a drink right. (to be exact, fast and right). (-2 stars). The only way I'll come back to this place is if I happen to get a sip of someone else's drink and if it tastes right. I'll never pay high, stand in line and get a bad drink. NEVER !!! read more

I usually love sharetea when I go to the Gen BBQ plaza. I've always got oolong milk tea or brown sugar milk tea, and they don't really go wrong since they're really basic drinks. I came here the first time after they opened-- 1. The prices are HIGH AF - like wtf?!? 5 for a milk tea with no toppings??? Oh hell nah. I know it's valleyfair but seriously, for a cup of milk tea and the same effin size?? No. 2. The cashier didn't even know the menu - I asked what's in the fresh milk teas and he literally stared at me like i was some kind of alien. 3. The drink was watery - like what happened sharetea?! Step up your game. I ordered the fresh milk tea with oolong tea and small boba. First, I live for the small boba cuz they're so hard to find but they're chunks at the bottom of the drink! I can't even suck it up with the big straw. Second, the drink was so watery with fresh milk. I tasted the milk but the tea has a obvious water aftertaste. 4. The baristas all have attitude - okay. I work in a boba shop too, I get yo struggle and all that shit. But at least do some customer service. I asked why is the drink so watery? It's not usually like this. And they just told me they made it with real milk, obviously telling me to go away and have my drink. That's when the point that actually pissed me off. I paid almost 6 dollars for a tea water drink?? I gave them a look and they all went silent for a sec, and offered me to make me a new one. I looked at my friend (she ordered the same drink) and we both walked outta the store without saying anything. I'll never come back again, at least for this sharetea. Especially for the price and the service. If you're looking for some good milk tea, Code Bar located near Nordstrom has some good and strong milk tea. Much cheaper too. read more

I waited for a long period of time after placing my order to get my drink. Saw a few people who ordered after me receive their drinks so I finally asked for my order and apparently they already called my number. Others before me had to also ask the worker for their drinks and it seemed like those drinks had also been made already. Maybe I didn't hear my number but when it happened to multiple parties then I can only conclude it's a lack of communication from Sharetea worker. I would suggest adding a screen that shows the order whose drink has been made to avoid having people wait 20+ minutes for two drinks. read more

The workers here are always on their phone. I had to tell one of the workers on purpose " are you open " because she was just sitting on her phone and I was standing waiting 2 minutes waiting on her to take my order. They really need to stop using their phones because they don't even wash their hands after being on their phone. read more

It was around 12:45 pm on Thursday to get a quick drink and some baked goods. The place was pretty empty and it took the cashier to find our drink orders on their register. And I guess she was also working the seafood oyster restaurant that it's connected with - all open space. Drinks are yum though and priced well. We got their Spring specials and they were both good. The beignets are yum and the Asiago bagel was reasonably priced at $4 with cream cheese! I'd come back but just a little slow where we had to wait for our order with no one here.

The place has this worn-in, artistic, slightly scruffy charm.. idk if I'm describing it right. It's like... the kind of hangout where people come for a quick catchup each other but end up drifting in and out of nice, long conversations. Like.. the morning version of going out for drinks. Instead of cocktails, it's cappuccinos and spearmint lavender tea. same energy. Nothing feels overly polished, which is exactly why it feels comfortable. The music is one of my favorite parts. Find myself removing my headphones to listen to what they have playing. Sometimes I feel like I'm inside an NPR segment. Lol The coffee and tea have been consistently tasty. Great espresso, tasty tea options, and no one rushes you out. just gentle background life happening around you. Another shoutout to the staff. The baristas seem poorly trained, and they don't have a solid process anymore. They've expanded their space, but that just makes the wait and confusion worse. I recently was in their new space and ordered two simple cold brews--no modifications. Where they used to pour it straight from the tap, now they treat it like a latte--and everything takes forever. If you want to linger in their aesthetic (albeit chilly) space, maybe that's fine. But if you just want takeaway coffee, be prepared to invest 20-30 minutes. It's no longer the quick, quality stop it once was.

I started by the back near the signage and got to order within 10 minutes. There's a bright menu to view right next to the cashier with popular items marked. That was helpful because it was overwhelming with the number of choices. I ended up ordering the popular Black Sesame Latte and both Banana Lattes to try. The drinks came out within a few minutes. Not too long of a wait. The drinks were standard flavors but good. I don't think it's worth standing in the usual long lines, but still good.

The earl grey tea is super strong, and it's complemented by a good amount of vanilla syrup. Also, no weird aftertaste from the vanilla or raspberry. - Mr. Sunshine sandwich, replace the bacon with avocado - This is simple, healthy, and delicious, plus it comes with a little mandarin. I especially love the 9-grain bread that they use because it reminds me of the brown bread from Cheesecake Factory. While I could make something like this at home, I don't always have the time, energy, or ingredients on hand, so I love that I can still get a healthy lunch with my daily caffeine. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and hopefully dining in one day!

Bagels have been one of my favorite foods since I was a kid, but lately I haven't had a taste for them. This morning I thought a bagel sandwich sounded good, but unfortunately I couldn't eat it. It was my issue, not a problem with the food. The apple hand pie was scrumptious. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. The iced hot chocolate wasn't great, but that was because I ordered it with half sweetness and it needed more. I'm saving the banana bread for later, but I have a feeling it will be good warmed up.

I think the quality has gotten a little worse here, my latte was very sweet even with less sugar requested, and they seemed to just dump espresso on top of milk and callel my name in a hurry. They also seem to sell beauty products now, which is a little strange. The whole experience across the board felt unpolished, not sure if I'd come back here next time unless I'm in the area.
