Came to this location with my family and a friend to redeem my birthday coupon, a free entree when you join the Marie's club. Everything on the menu appears to be about $10 or less. I decided on the Westgate skillet meal. It has chorizo, salsa, onions, cheese, potatoes, egg, and comes with toast, for $9.49. It came out hot and it was very yummy! Super filling, I ate half and took the other half home. You can also get the skillets in a smaller portion for $2 less. Everyone in my party loved their food as well. Our service was fine, very quick. We'll definitely be back! read more

Scramblers - Westgate skillet w/ honey wheat toast - American Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

I love Scramblers. This location was pretty busy but our server wasn't very attentive. I also got some pretty nasty looking fruit which I usually never get because of this reason. The food took a while to come out but was pretty good. Overall I wasn't blown away by the service and I feel like other locations have been better. read more

Food is usually pretty good to be honest... once you get it. My ongoing issue with this place is their timing on getting your food to you. It seems like it always takes longer than it should. To make matters worse, every time I come here they bring out various people at the tables food out several minutes apart causing that awkward timing where some people are done before everyone has their meal. I think this just be normal here because waitstaff is never even mildly apologetic about it. If they'd fix this issue the place would be much better. read more

Always reliably good food and a predictably good price. The servers are friendly, amiable, and - if you're lucky to be a regular - always remember your face, name, and food preferences. read more

The staff is all so stinking nice and polite, food came up quickly for us, was all light yet filling, and the fruit was ripe and delicious! They also gave us to-go coffee with our check! read more

Sooo.. we have been here twice before, for whatever reason didn't really care for it. Stopped in last weekend after we dropped car off for tires. Line looked ridiculous ( I refuse to wait in line for breakfast) but we were seated within 5 minutes. Service was ok. Breakfast was delicious. We like our hash browns crispy and it seems like we never get that. Didn't even bother to request this time but they were perfect! read more

Scramblers - Eggs over medium, perfect hash browns, bacon - American Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

I like this place well over Bob Evan's. It's always clean, quick and the food is served hot. I've never had any issues with food coming out wrong or not done, so that's a bonus. Their pancakes are fluffy, their coffee is good and the staff is quick. What more can you ask for? read more

So yesterday I placed a to go order. They places my parfait in the same bag as my hot food and places the sour cream inside box who wants a hot parfait or sour cream. My boyfriend orders there often they always burn his English muffins. They need to get it together. read more

To be fair, we did order scrambled eggs. Instead we ordered poached and over medium. We received one soft boiled and one hard boiled in place of the poached and two over hard in place of the over medium. On the plus side, our server was fantastic and the sweet tea was delicious! read more

It's hit or miss at any Scrambler's that I've been to. And for the record, I never choose to eat at this restaurant - I give in to my boyfriend who likes their wild west omelette. One similarity between locations seems to be the wait time. I usually always order take out. Without fail, I always end up waiting an additional 10 - 15 minutes once I arrive. The prices aren't bad, but the food is mediocre. I ordered the open face smothered croissant. At the Hamilton location my croissant was very thin. Almost as if they had flattened it out. The omelette on top was ok, but the potato chunks seemed almost under cooked and the portion was small compared to what I received at the East Broad location. The hollandaise sauce that is served at every Scrambler's location tastes more like a watered down generic Mac & Cheese sauce. 3 stars for decent prices and food that isn't absolutely horrible. read more

Scramblers - Small portion. Annnnd, I remembered to take a pic after taking a couple of bites of the croissant. - American Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

Came with friends. Little bit of a long wait even though we came after the rush and not many customers in store. Waited for drinks waited for food, it would be if the food was good. My 2 friends meals were just okay. My side of bacon was $4.95 and was chared and borderline burnt. Could not eat it. I also ordered the "awesome avocado" omelet. No avocado, buried in cheese, hash browns were lightly grilled and soaked through with grease as if they were sitting on a cool spot on the back of the grill for a long time.... long enough to soak up grease but not long enough to brown. Toast ? We all got warm bread. Learn to TOAST bread. Not happy to leave hungry! Should have passed on this place. read more

The dine-in experience was very clean, everything was sanitized and the customers were distanced far enough from each other! The service was quick, and the hosts and hostesses are very kind, courteous and of course clean. The food was delicious, warm and served beautiful. This is a perfect place for a solo breakfast/lunch or to come in with friends and family. read more

We went through five different sets of silverware to find ones without food crusted on. The breakfast burrito was basically pure cheese. They forgot to put the salsa on. The chicken and waffles only gave you two chicken nuggets sized pieces of chicken. The service was slow. Won't go back. read more

Meh. Used to enjoy it but the food has become rather pedestrian. How hard is it to make an over-easy egg, or to make sure your skillet isn't 2/3rd potatoes and little else. Tried it today, not impressed. read more

DoorDashed my order! First time eating at a Scrammbler! The food arrived as pictured on their website! All food cooked perfectly as ordered and the potions were great! They didn't forget the drinks and the coffee was in a large cup and piping hot! All condiments needed were included! We will eat at this location again! Great Job!!!! read more

The youthful staff was pleasant and hard working. Everything else was a little bellow average. The tables for 4 were too small for 4 people. Poached eggs overcooked. English muffin over toasted. Coffee did not taste fresh. Plain decor. read more

Marie's has stopped caring. I don't even think they do the free meal blue plates anymore. It's just slop the food on the plate and 'here, eat this'. Too bad. They were really something when they first arrived in town. read more

The expression "the inmates are running the asylum" is apt and most certainly applies here. I've eaten here on no less than four occasions, and walked away shaking my head after each visit. I'll grant that it's always during the weekend, and they are always busy, but during most visits I can't recall seeing someone I'd refer to as an adult. The servers are blar, inattentive and slow to come with coffee, water or meals. Lots of server clusters, chatting in groups and generally ignoring tables. I've had the Benedict and the French Toast as well as another basic breakfast meal, and none have been worth writing home about. Food was often lukewarm, and not one of my family or I feel like revisiting. I love a good Benedict, but the two times I tried them the hollandaise had had time to become a congealed, slightly cold gloop, the eggs ill prepared and the ham rather skimpy. I've read other reviews recounting solid experiences with service and food, which drove me from my 1 star thoughts up to a second, as they are people I trust. Makes me believe the weekday crew may be of a better kind, or I've just had some unfortunate timing. Seating is fine, what you'd expect, clean and well staged. Has always been busy when I've visited, though for the life of me I can't imagine why. read more

I have visited this Scramblers twice over the holiday weekend and it was great both times. On Sunday the place was packed and were told that our wait would be 15 minutes, but it was actually more like two minutes. The service was great, the food was hot and came out quickly and it was a great meal. Highly remained the pancakes with oatmeal, almonds and cranberries. Delicious! read more

Went for mothers day. Knew there would be a wait. It took 20 minutes to take a drink order twice, and get it to us. Took an hour+ to tell us our food would not be coming soon, The male waiter was not attentive, after stating our displeasure on the food wait, was told there was nothing to keep us there. Rude waiter. This was as Miamisburg, ohio restuarant. read more

Overall: Good food, reasonable prices. Take away: Make sure the server gets your order correct and double check it when it comes out. The first time I went with a friend and her order was messed up, was fixed and they gave her extra Scrambler dollars. The next time, the couple next to use had some order issues but our food came out correctly. It's a hit or miss in that aspect but the servers are always friendly, the manager comes around to say hello which is nice, and the prices are reasonable. read more

I ordered the 419 Sandwich and hash browns with sour cream, cheese, and green onion - all to go. The plastic utensils they provided were useless. The knife bent when I was trying to get it out of the plastic. The fork broke when I tried to put it in the potatoes (more on why that happened later). First, the sandwich. It's on a brioche bun and includes a generous portion of scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon, a slice of cheese, and Sriracha mayo. Despite all of this the bread is what you taste the most. It overwhelms everything. It's not grilled or toasted and is simply too thick. This made the sandwich dry. It is in dire need of veggies. Lettuce, tomato, or onion would have made a big difference in the texture and flavor. Aside from the color you'd never know Sriracha was in the Mayo. I was hoping for spice but got none. Second, the hash browns. They were half burnt and had a crust on top that was so hard it broke the fork. I used a real fork and even it had trouble penetrating the upper layer crust. I flipped the potatoes over in order to get to anything edible. Alas they were bland. Luckily there was a good amount of cheese in them, which made them edible. As with the sandwich some veggies would have helped. Diced tomato would have been perfect. In the end my remnants included a blacked crust of rock hard hash browns and pieces of bun that I picked away to keep the sandwich from being overly dry. Overall this was disappointing meal that was half inedible. Too bad. I wanted to like it more. read more

Sunday morning about 11:00. We ordered coffee from the person that sat is but it never showed up. The food is average at best. We have been here a few times because the kids like the kids menu. The servers don't seem to be able to keep up with their table (s)... Today was the worst yet. The server/self proclaimed manager was bragging about how she had to come in and straighten this location up. She bragged about her leadership skills while my drink sat empty during our entire meal. I asked for Hot Sauce and got Ketchup. To her defense, Hot Sauce and Ketchup are both red... After an hour and asking for the check 3 times we finally were able to pay and leave. This place has potential. Just hire and train the staff. read more

I was instantly reminded of a Denny's, but I quickly found that the food is significantly better! I had the Westgate skillet, and seriously, how could anyone not like eggs over-easy and chorizo, cheese, homestyle potatoes, and salsa all scrambled up in a skillet? This was one of the first restaurants my husband and I went to after moving to Columbus. We went on a Sunday at 10am and were prepared to wait. After only 10 minutes, we had a great seat! I usually hate two person tables... They're usually too tiny and in an awkward spot by the door or the kitchen, but this was right in the middle of the restaurant- great spot! Our waitress was super friendly and efficient. She made me feel right at home! The food was excellent!! They have an awesome menu... Simple items as well as unique... healthy if you want it or full of calories if that's what you want too ;-) the prices were as expected, not too much. I loved it!
