I really liked being able to sit at the bar. I had their iced coffee and it tasted like to was house brewed! I had the Chikchikchanga (I believe that's how you spell it) and I appreciated the breakfast take on chimichanga. Had breakfast here yesterday. Although they were very busy we were seated quickly. Our waitress Lauren took good care of us, she was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Chili Chorizo omelette. It tasted great, just wish that there had been more chorizo and cheese inside of it. It came with home fries and a slice of multigrain toast. Brand new first watch restaurant near me was very nicely thought out and decorated. I feel like their food is always top-notch and reasonably priced. Had the brussels sprouts hash as well as the biscuits and gravy, which was surprisingly wonderful even though it was made with ground turkey sausage. Brand New to our neighborhood and a great addition. We had breakfast this morning and it was well presented - hot and fresh for both my wife and me. Service was right on Nicole helped us. We went to First Watch for brunch and had a great experience. The spring menu featured Bacon Cheddar Cornbread, so we couldn't pass it up. We ordered it to share. The honey butter really made it special. Yum! On a previous visit, I ordered the BEC Sandwich on the spring menu and really enjoyed it. The Calabrian sweet and spicy chilis were exceptional. This time, I ordered a half Monterey Club and half Chicken Avocado Chop Salad. Both were great. My sister was raving about the seasonal hash she chose from the spring menu as well. Our server was really nice and attentive. We left feeling happy we tried this newer location of a restaurant we always enjoy. read more

We were so excited to have a First Watch close by... and now that we've been twice, we probably won't be back. We arrived at 930 on a Sunday to a half empty restaurant and were promptly seated. We ordered drinks and asked for waters inside 5 minutes. We got the drinks but only one cup for water and I waited 15 minutes for sweetener for my iced tea. We ordered our food by 940 - then we waited. My 5 and 8 year old were patient for some of the 47 minutes in between ordering and our food arriving. They too were confused about all the tables around us coming and going and eating before us. When our food arrived it was a disappointment. No syrup for the pancakes, no butter for the toast, no egg on my wife's entree because "they didn't want to make her wait longer." Nobody cared. The food was average but our distaste for the situation made it terrible. We got the "it's a busy time" excuse - but the restaurant wasn't even 75% full until after we got our food so that's no excuse. 2 stars instead of 1 because at least the bathroom here doesn't smell like a portapot like the one in worthington mall... read more

Overall, the restaurant is great, but they still need to work out some kinks. The potatoes are way too salty. They have a great bar area that you can sit at, but the part that is outside has these huge fans that are way too windy multiple people have made complaints about it and the three times that I've been there and still nothing has changed. You literally cannot sit your creamer down without it blowing off the counter. If you have something with lettuce as a part of your meal, your lettuce, literally blows off of your plate, as well as your napkin and the menu. They also could get a little bit better at watching your coffee because they don't leave a decanter on your table. It took a while to get someone attention to get more coffee. I also wish they would offer jelly. They don't have any jelly on the table. It's kind of a bummer. They do have a great bloody Mary. That's pretty delicious. Their coffee is just so so. I've gotten their omelettes a few times honestly, I like Scramblers omelettes better. The servers are always so nice. I just find that they need to work on checking up on their tables, a little bit more when it comes to drinks, and needing a refill. They could also have more people sitting on those patio at the bar if they would fix that fan. Also, they have some tables around the one side of the building that have umbrellas, but the other side directly facing the sun, there are no umbrellas. So if they are looking to maximize their profit, they should fix that fan on the patio and they should order some more umbrellas for the other side of the patio because literally thosebar seats and those tables in the sun were making zero money for the restaurant read more
