First time coming, but not last. You won't find innovation here, but the good old breakfast here is decent. Pancakes are average, coffee is surprisingly better than other similar restaurants, the cocktail's menu is pretty good actually if you want a morning drink. The service is quite good and the ambience as a said before nothing new or different. But it worth to try and get your own opinion. I had the grits and shrimps, if you like to eat, this won't be enough, even if you don't eat much, won't be enough so don't order it.

I had breakfast there for my birthday with my husband. The food was good, the service was nice, and the ambiance was a typical Tuesday morning here in Columbus

Scramblers are known for not seasoning food well. However I had a gift card so I decided to visit. Our server was not good. We heard her asking employees how much they make do they count tips and more. She never asked us if we needed anything and we waited a while after finishing to get our check. We were never asked if everything was ok. The cocktails We ordered a bloody Mary and pineapple sunrise cocktails. The bloody Mary seemed as if it didn't have any tomato juice in it. Not good. The pineapple sunrise was better. The food Crab Benny and Monte Cristo The crab benny was good. The hollandaise sauce was pretty good. No complaints there Monte Cristo was ok as well not memorable. But ok. I'm giving a 2 star due to service. Even after we completed our meal the staff were around us talking about personal things and watching videos on their phones. Then our server Chandlyr starting talking to others about how on certain days they have groups of old people who come in and they only tip $1. Wow. Then she talked about how she needs more money. It was so bad I didn't leave her a tip. I almost gave her a tip by telling her not to talk like that on the work floor. To bad she didn't spend that time helping us.

    Pumpkin Stuffed French toast

I never go to breakfast alone, but after deciding to take a day off from work and seeing a picture of the Pumpkin Stuffed French toast on Scramblers website, I decided to make this the day! I don't typically look at Scramblers because of disappointment in the past, but the Pumpkin Suffed French toast drew me in!!! So I went. When they brought me my plate, I was actually embarrassed for them, and I never would have given a customer the plate of food they gave me. I am not a complainer, so I ate it and tipped well. Extremely disappointed! Their picture and my picture do not look like the same item.

I had no intentions on having breakfast at this location as I was going to another. The name "Scramblers" caught my attention and decided to give it a try. Waiting time was less than 10 minutes. The restaurant is very clean, excellent service and quick turnaround from when you place the order. I ordered coffee which each person gets their individual carafe. Absolutely love this and serves 3 cups. Ordered the Eggs Benedict with hash browns. It was very good. Their menu has an excellent assortment of selections. The portions are huge. The staff provides excellent service from the hostess, the waitresses and the buss persons. Absolutely recommend you eat at this establishment. Kudos to the owners!

My husband and I visited for breakfast yesterday. He isn't a big breakfast person but I am so her indulges me on the weekends. He ordered the Big Country and I got the Eye Opener. He really enjoyed his and then tried mine. We both agreed that they were both delicious. The portions were generous and the ingredients seemed pretty fresh. If I were going to be picky about anything my toast was a little hard and his gravy could have used a bit more pepper. The service was fast and friendly and we ate for $30 including tip. And the best part? My husband liked it so much he said we will definitely be back!

My husband got the Korean BBQ Scotch Egg (so different but very tasty), BBQ glazed meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes, lemon chilli green beans (he normally doesn't like his vegetables, but he said these were so fresh and tasty), and Espresso Martini Pot De Crème. I had the Italian Wedding Soup (very good but did not have the meatballs), Pasta Bolognese (pasta was cooked perfectly and drained properly, so it did not water down the sauce!), and Apple Pie Mousse. I also got one of their mocktails called Brambleberry Tea. I could have easily drunk a couple of those! I forgot mention that they pour some nicely chilled water from a bottle that they leave on the table when you sit down. That is a nice touch for us since that is our choice of beverage when we eat. We were treated so warmly by everyone from the time we walked in until we left. Our server, Tyler, asked if we had been before (and this was our first time), so he welcomed us and asked if we had any questions. He was attentive during our time and even asked my husband if he needed any more sauce for his meatloaf. Marvin, the manager, stopped by to see how our first experience went and wanted to invite us back by gifting us coupons for an appetizer on our next visit. Thank you! The atmosphere was rustic and casual. I loved the picture frames hanging (used like walls) and lots of exposed bricks. The bathrooms were clean, well-stocked, and warm. We are looking forward to coming back to try the regular menu!

Started with the tots, which were really good, but they weren't loaded, just cheesy and a little sauce on time. We asked for the pork on the side and didn't get it at all. My dad and I ordered brunch- avocado toast for me and the skillet pancake for my dad- and they were both cold. Not warm, mine didn't have any warmth at all. My mom's mac and cheese looked awesome, very warm, and her grilled cheese dip plate was too, and she loved them. I knew I didn't want to eat my meal as-is, and was going to ask them to at least warm it up, but my waitress never came back to check on us for so long that my parents were almost done eating (my dad ate his cold, but ice cold egg was a no-go for me). He had to wave her down to come back to us, and I just decided to not bother and they took it off the bill. She also forgot to refill my coffee, but the manager came over I asked for it from him. He explained that the toppings on the avocado toast make it cold, so I guess be warned. Disappointing visit for sure.

We shared the street corn nachos and you'll have to try the freshest jalapeños on them, by far the best nachos ever! I kept with the theme and did the Al pastor tacos but with grilled chicken plus queso and chips on the side! Stuffed and amazed at how quick yet fresh and delicious everything was. Every single person kept saying how great their meal was. Danielle, the manager even stopped by to make sure everyone was taken care of! After an amazing meal like that we had to try the desserts, the butter cake and banana were both great but definitely think if you only get one, the butter cake is where it's at. As always, asked for recommendations from our server. Shout out to Jett because everything he recommended I loved! Favorite part of the meal was the short rib and carrot hummus and the cheddar scallion biscuits. I liked it so much I actually thought of ordering some to go. Menu has so many options to choose from, it caters to many types of palettes. My bevy, the Blackberry Cooler, was refreshing. My friend got the non alcoholic version and said it was too tart. Only disappointment of the night was they ran out of the brown butter cake. The banana caramel cake was still a good substitution. Plenty of parking but do recommend to make a reservation to avoid long wait times. Cant wait to come back and enjoy a happy hour.

After checking out the menu, I had a serious decision to make. If you follow my reviews, you know I love a great burger, and their burger section had some tempting choices. I was also really debating the Waldo Fried Bologna sandwich because that's another one of my food weaknesses. But in the end, I went with my first food love -- a burger. I ordered the All American Burger with the classic toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side. I got it cooked medium rare (the only way to eat a great burger), and added a fried egg on top because that takes a good burger and makes it even better. The burger hit the spot. The fresh-cut fries that came with it were also really good -- hot, fresh, slightly crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. Service was a little bit of a mixed bag. Things moved on the slower side, but our server was very friendly and super nice, which definitely helped. The weather also turned out perfect, and sitting outside on the patio enjoying good food and live music made for a memorable night. My only real complaint, and it's a small one, was the drink prices. One small can of seltzer was $7, and a Bullet on the rocks with a shot of Buffalo Trace came out to $17.50, which felt a little steep. Overall, if you're looking for good food and a place to catch live music on the patio, Gatsby's might end up being that hidden choice you didn't even realize you were looking for.

We also had a couple bottles of wine at the table, which were good as well. For appetizers, we shared oysters, meatballs, and shrimp cocktail. All of them were good, but the meatballs were my favorite. For my entrée, I ordered the prime rib. It was a bit saltier than I would have liked, but the sides helped balance it out. I really enjoyed the corn and mashed potatoes, and I also added mushrooms and onions, which helped offset the saltiness. In hindsight, I kind of wish I had ordered the filet mignon, as I suspect it wouldn't have been as salty. The bread at the beginning of the meal was also really good. Dessert was a standout--I got the turtle cake, and it was huge. It's definitely the best value on the menu. Three of us shared it and still couldn't finish it, though that may have also been due to the amount of food and drinks we had throughout the night. The food did take a while to come out, but the service remained good the entire time. We expected dinner to wrap up around 7:00, but we started at 5:30 and didn't finish until about 8:30--there were 16 of us, so it was understandable.
