    Salmon with rice

Miamar Grill delivered a truly outstanding experience today. We went with two chopped salads, one topped with beef and one with salmon, and both were excellent. The salmon was cooked just right, and the beef was tender and juicy. The salad itself was fresh and flavorful, not an afterthought. The owner, Elena, came out to chat with us at the end of our meal, which was a nice touch and says a lot about the place. She also mentioned their Mother's Day special, 10% off your total bill plus a free dessert for Mom. It's a great balance of fresh and filling, which isn't always easy to find. Definitely a spot worth coming back to. Miamar Grill 732 N State St Westerville, OH 43081 Miamargrill.com

The place is beautiful! Staff...helpful and knowledgeable. But the food... Absolutely best I've had in a while!! A new gem for Westerville. I had the potato pancake, with chicken, red cabbage and garlic sauce. It's an appetizer but it was my lunch. So so good!! Hubs had the gyro salad. It was huge. He could barely finish it! We split the loaded fries. Same garlic sauce, very yummy. Can't wait to try other items

My wife and I ate here tonight after seeing it on Columbus Foodies, and we're so glad we did! The vibe is cool and relaxing, and both the service and food were amazing. Our server brought out a potato pancake for us to try--it was ridiculously good! The cabbage had a nice tang, the chicken was cooked perfectly, the pancake base was light, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. My wife had the salmon with rice and absolutely loved it--she said it's a dish she'll crave again. I went with the Parmesan-crusted chicken and linguine, and everything was cooked perfectly. The sauce was flavorful without being overly sweet. We finished with a slice of Limoncello cake, which was the perfect ending--not heavy, not too sweet, just fresh, bright flavors in every bite. Overall, a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

Decided to check put this restaurant...wow! The whole experience was impeccable. The service was top tier, food delicious and reasonably priced. I had the lemon chicken and hubby had the reuben. We will be back for more.

    Grape leaves and moussaka!

Found this place browsing yelp! And I am so glad I did. Wanted to try absolutely everything but ended up with the hummus, spicy feta, spinach pie, moussaka and grape leaves. Absolutely loved every bite. Took home leftovers with a piece of baklava which is amazing as well. Service was great, the vibe of the restaurant is welcoming and cozy. Will definitely be back!

Staff were friendly and helpful, service was fast but not too fast, with Orlando being a great table host! We had two fantastic dishes, really tasty and enjoyable, loved the portion sizes too, not huge, which is often the norm these days. The ambience was just right, nice decor, clean, fresh writable well spaced and comfortable. Right now they are waiting for their liquor license, that should be any day now. I cannot recommend supporting this great little place, a varied menu, great layout, friendly staff and great food! We will be back

All bartenders were immediate, helpful and attentive. Great atmosphere. It's beautiful in the bar area - haven't been anywhere else. Great! Pricing on the menu. Really great Happy Hour - lots of good options. Tonight I ate off the Happy Hour menu; gem salad (their take on Caesar, came with anchovies). Lamb meatballs - really good Dirty Martini I'd like to come back here and get something off the main menu - it's Cameron Mitchell so you can't go wrong with any dish. I really enjoyed the lively hood and the overall vibe of the place. They do have TVs at the bar area- two that face east and west. Worth checking out!

There were a lot of bodies waiting in the small area near the host desk and it was a little chaotic. Our server kept trying to bring us the wrong bottle of wine (we ordered a bottle of French bubbly and she kept coming back with a Riesling) so I am not sure if it was a disconnect or what. Eventually we received the correct bottle after taking the toast tab and pointing to the appropriate one on the POS. Our group enjoyed some small plates; the ceviche and the beet salad and hummus were all lovely. However, I ordered the kind of already overpriced lobster scramble. The portion was CRAZY. What I received was a 1.5" piece of lobster meat on top of what seemed to be less than one eggs' worth of pre blended egg. There was still liquid egg that hadn't been cooked in the pan and it was accompanied by three wedges of a Roma tomato with a handful of dressed arugula. For $29. I would hope at that price point, I would at least get 2 eggs worth. WILD. All in all, enjoyable experience but Cameron Mitchell should probably revise some of the portion sizes/menu items. And please, please, nobody order the lobster scramble and experience the same fate that I did.

We also had a couple bottles of wine at the table, which were good as well. For appetizers, we shared oysters, meatballs, and shrimp cocktail. All of them were good, but the meatballs were my favorite. For my entrée, I ordered the prime rib. It was a bit saltier than I would have liked, but the sides helped balance it out. I really enjoyed the corn and mashed potatoes, and I also added mushrooms and onions, which helped offset the saltiness. In hindsight, I kind of wish I had ordered the filet mignon, as I suspect it wouldn't have been as salty. The bread at the beginning of the meal was also really good. Dessert was a standout--I got the turtle cake, and it was huge. It's definitely the best value on the menu. Three of us shared it and still couldn't finish it, though that may have also been due to the amount of food and drinks we had throughout the night. The food did take a while to come out, but the service remained good the entire time. We expected dinner to wrap up around 7:00, but we started at 5:30 and didn't finish until about 8:30--there were 16 of us, so it was understandable. Overall, a solid experience, especially for a group event.

You receive a free dessert if you're celebrating a birthday. I would HIGHLY suggest the Mud Pie -- Graeters vanilla, chocolate, and coffee ice cream with brownie chucks on an Oreo crust topped off with honey roasted peanuts. It was almost the size of my 9yo son's head! We also got the chocolate cake and coconut cake (fan favorite). The chocolate cake is served with housemade caramel and is a very deep rich chocolate without being overly sweet. It goes perfectly with a cup of black coffee. The coconut cake is like a vanilla cloud with a hint of real coconut flavor - not that nasty sunscreen taste you often get. The cake pieces were also very large. Kevin was our server, and he was so amazing! You can request him upon arrival, and he will give the Ratatouille experience where you have images of fireworks as he explains the flavor profiles of the various dishes or desserts. We started out with onion rings and meatball appetizers. The meatballs were delicious and came with 4 pieces of toasted slices of baguettes and a dollop of marinara sauce. The onion rings are enormous! They were good; however, I would say the most lack-luster part of the meal. They are served with a side of regular ketchup -- an aioli would be a nicer tough. My husband and I got ribeyes, my sister got the lobster bisque and Caesar salad, and my son got a kids rib meal (very large portion!). Everything was cooked to perfection. The lobster bisque was warm, creamy, and had a little kick to it. The ribs bbq sauce was a tiny spicy, so you may want to request it on the side for the kiddos. Our steaks were melt in your mouth perfect. The twice baked tomato was both crispy and creamy all at once. The overall feel of The Barn is a little more formal than most places; however, people were semi-casually dressed. You don't have to feel like a suit and tie are needed, but I would be shocked to see anyone in shorts and a tshirt as well. Apparently they have an amazing Sunday brunch. Kevin told us about it and at this point, I trust everything he says about food and drink! Speaking of drinks, if you are a bourbon drinker, The Barn has a special blend of Woodford where a team goes down to Kentucky and creates a special blend just for The Barn. My husband said it was so smooth and delicious. While on the top of the Cameron Mitchell chain in both quality and price, it is well-worth stopping in -- even if it's just once in your life. My 9yo son is already dreaming about going back for his very own steak
