I stopped in for carryout one night on the way home. It is an order-at-the-counter type place, with lots of seating in the dining area. There was a photo of a barramundi entree that looked good, so I ordered that. I also got a chicken shawarma entree. The entrees come with rice & side salad. I also ordered a fried cauliflower side. After unpacking my bag at home, I found 5 pieces of pita bread with extra garlic sauce. It is whipped and very garlicky. I didn't like it and couldn't eat it. They had plastic lidded cups of fresh juices on ice for around $7. They are closed on Tuesdays. They do not serve alcohol. I thought the food was good, and portioned well. Five stars feels insufficient. We came with family, Ohio Food Lover, and we were treated to a full experience. Salad, lentil soup, and two platters. My favorite was the saffron rice (yellow) with a variety of beef and chicken. Their pitas are wonderful: so fresh and chewy. They have a spicy red sauce that my son and I drained one bowl and we were, graciously, given a second. The ambiance and service were perfect along with the best Mediterranean food I've experienced. My wrap was fresh and warm, but the flavor leaned heavily gamy and needed serious help from the salt stash I keep in my car. The hummus was creamy but bland, and toppings were sparse--just a few onions and literally one diced tomato. The pita itself was soft and nicely toasted. * Pistachio Baklava ($5): Looked beautiful--golden layers, plenty of pistachio--but tasted chalky, flat, and not nearly sweet enough. Disappointing for the price. Pricing: Expect to spend around $18 for a sandwich and dessert. Other menu items range from $6 juices to $20+ platters. Overall: Clean and welcoming space. I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed the place very much. You order at the counter and there's a table with cold fresh juices like mango to pick up. Only $5 each. There's also flat bread you can buy and take home. Only $4 each. The first time was with friends. One caveat is that the booth we sat in seemed small and the seat wasn't secured to the frame. I felt like our knees were almost touching, which was kinda too intimate for me. The food was great. I had moussaka, it was good but different than what I expected. Basically, it's an eggplant sauce over saffron rice or vermicelli and salad. Everyone else enjoyed their food. I noticed there was a separate room that you can reserve for a party, which seats 30. Nice to keep that in mind for the future. On my second visit I tried the three different flavors of fatayer: cheese, spinach, and meat. This is a middle eastern savory pie served as a finger food. We had the large plate from the grille section. It said it could feed from 6 to 8 people. We were more than 10 adult, and it was pretty filling for all of them. The price and quantity was right. I had olive and lime veggie platter with fried cauliflower, falafel and hummus. I loved the hummus and cauliflower was crispy and soft from inside, just the way I like. Overall, the food and service was great. I really enjoyed eating there with my family. Of course, assorted Baklavas were sweet and delicious. Love it. You order, find a seat (We sat outside since the weather's been beautiful lately), and someone brings all your food out to you. There's self service for any fountain beverages you purchase, but PLEASE try their fresh juices up front. My mango juice tasted like I was biting into a juicy mango! The hummus was smooth, baba ganoush was flavorful and smoky, and the meats were grilled perfectly. You can taste the char and it was authentically seasoned. The saffron rice was fluffy with a generous amount of butter (fine by me! Lol), & even the humble lentil soup was bright and rich. It was my first time trying this restaurant and I'm so glad I went! The service was great and the staff even gave recommendations for what to try. Also there was a lot of seating to choose from! My daughter who lives in Cleveland and likes to check out ethnic cuisine, said it was better than anything she has experienced. I had not yet arrived when the order was placed but I was blown away by the variety of food we received. OMG THAT PITA! OMG THAT HUMMUS! Olive & Thyme is the best thing that ever happened to that Panera. The space is relatively unchanged, yet the scratch-made yums absolutely trump the "You Pick 2" any day. Wanting to try a little bit of everything, especially those pillowy looking freshly made pitas, I ordered the Olive & Thyme Veggie Platter. Hummus, falafels, fried cauliflower, tahini sauce and tabbouleh + a side of baba ghannoush. Usually I use the tabbouleh (parsley salad) as a garnish or topping, but this recipe was shovelled right in my mouth and eaten like it should be. Best tabbouleh I've ever had! I definitely had leftovers and the helpful staff provided me containers for the dips to take home. I also bought a pack of the fresh pita to take with me for $4. I enjoyed it with the leftovers and have also used it for baby pita pizzas and sammies this week. (ProTip: Pop them in the air fryer and they get crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside.) Olive and Thyme popped up in the former Clintonville Panera. I'm much more excited about this! I hadn't looked at the menu before arriving, so the friendly staff member helped me chose the vegetarian sampler. I really enjoyed it. The cauliflower was garlicky and nicely cooked, the hummus was really nice and smooth. The tabbouleh was pretty solid and I was happy with the falafels. I have been looking for a good chicken shawarma wrap since I moved from L.A. I wanted something that tasted just as good as Zankou Chicken (my all time FAVORITE!). I was very happy with this chicken shawarma wrap! BIT next time, I will order my wrap a little bit differently. The most important part for me is the chicken and toum. Theirs is excellent! The chicken was well seasoned and had some of the nice crispy edges from being on the rotisserie. Also their pita bread is really thin, so I don't get full on just bread (this is truly appreciated). The only thing that threw me off was that I was not expecting iceberg (or maybe it was romaine?) lettuce in the wrap. I'm not one who likes hot lettuce, since it wilts then takes on an odd flavor & texture. I didn't see lettuce in the description online when I ordered. What would make this PERFECT for me would be to put chopped tomato in place of the lettuce and getting a side of the homemade pickled turnips. The roasted red pepper hummus was pretty bland. The lamb kebab platter was plentiful, but still felt pricey. I didn't like the salad that had only iceberg lettuce. Then I had the Charbroiled Deboned Chicken half topped with homemade lemon butter sauce served rice, salad, and special soup that I put on the rice. Excellent chicken and rice. I loved the salad too with their house dressing. I could not finish it, but will have leftovers; along with my friend having the Olive & Lime Veggie platter with fried cauliflower, falafel, hummus, and tabbouleh. The place is large with ton of space indoors and some outdoor seatings. It's definitely family friendly. I ordered chicken shawarma with fries.
