Disappointing. I came here on a Friday morning for a simple breakfast -- eggs and bacon and toast, and some coffee. It's the exact same thing I did twice before earlier this year, at the same time. For some reason this morning the server told me they can't do breakfast. I said I had done it right here (same TownHall) on a Friday morning not long ago. They didn't seem to care, or "let me check with a manager" or anything, just 'nah.' I ended up getting something I didn't want (hamburger), which was like "oh well." At this point I'm just trying to have a good time, enjoy the coffee at least, have a sunny day .. I tried to ask about the breakfast thing once more on the way out, but they weren't helpful. Just, "Saturdays and Sundays." Oh, and a fun bonus, somehow it all cost ten dollars more than the breakfasts I had been enjoying (about $30 vs $20). read more

Stayed in the Moxy during the snowmageddeon for a hockey game. Strolled to this restaurant to evade bundling up and going in the snow. Was met with a smiling staff, hot coffee and amazing sweet potato pancakes. The cinnamon whipped cream was truely the best I've ever tasted. Clearly a popular place in Short North, went for a slightly early dinner and ended up with a very decent salad, loaded with nuts alongside the steak I ordered it with. Inside is loud with plenty of tables and bar space, outside is a long and very sunny patio on the street, service is attentive. However minus one star as the hostess seated me in full sun and didn't seem to care, I know I could have asked to be moved - virtually every other table was empty - but instead I opted to finish my salad and go elsewhere for more food. read more

Came back for the Thai peanut bowl but on the weekends they do a "brunch" menu until 3 pm. So couldn't get the bowl but still enjoyed the brunch! Check out the chicken and cinnamon roll!! During my trip to Columbus I was looking for a spot to grab some good food and watch sports. I stumbled upon TownHall and I'm lucky I did because this restaurant is amazing! My friend and I arrived on a Wednesday night around 8:30pm and were seated immediately. It wasn't packed when we came in but it did get busier as the night went on. The ambiance was very nice and lively. There were people hanging out, having a good time, eating, drinking at the bar and watching sports on the TVs. I love the interior and decor as well. There was wood everywhere and it felt very rustic. Our server was super nice, friendly and helpful. It was our first time and she was able to walk us through the menu to help us make our decisions and answered any questions we had. We helped us get started with a few of their cocktails which were great. We ordered their keto chicken wings to start as well. For the main course, we ordered their Wagyu steak with shrimp and sushi. Their steak was mouthwatering and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Each bite was very good. Their sashimi and sushi rolls were very delectable and really fresh in my opinion. We also ordered a fresh pressed juice and smoothie because our minds were blown seeing a dinner spot and somewhat of a sports bar have juices & smoothies for us to order at night. It was very cool. We ended the meal with their butter cake and skillet cookie with ice cream. Both were very decadent and sweet. Their butter cake is a popular dessert amongst their customers and I can see why. It tasted amazing and I'm glad I was able to indulge in it. Overall, my first experience at TownHall was fantastic and I'm glad I found out about it. I'm looking forward to visiting again the next time I'm in Columbus. Good experience at this TownHall. Cool and relaxed vibe. Servers were friendly and patient with explaining the menu items. Very diverse draft line and selection of beers. Good cocktails. Emory tempura shrimp sushi was pretty good. My wife had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. She loved it especially the way it was cult in slices. I had the burger and shake special. The burger was made perfectly and had great flavor. Fries were delicious and the shake was great. Ample seating with bars, tables, and booths with outdoor options as well. I came in longing to rate this place five stars due to its amazing organic, GMO free, and carefully planned menu which caters to diet restrictions. However, the food was just not great. I tried to steak bites which I ordered medium rare and they came out extremely well done and the rest of the dish was somewhat flavorless with little to no seasoning. My kids had the kids cheeseburgers and fries and did not like them, which is unheard of. They like everything. The wine selection was well thought out and good in their genre. The service was somewhat aggressive and made me feel extremely rushed. We will probably not return. We were there on St Paddy's Day. read more

Was in town for a work conference and was staying at the Moxy upstairs. Myself and my coworkers decided to stop here before we headed back to our rooms for a nightcap. It's located directly beneath The Moxy, so it was the perfect spot. It was pretty poppin in here honestly for a Monday night. Inside here is pretty big, and we even came in the next day, too, but just briefly. It definitely seems like a cool spot to hang out at. A bar slash restaurant slash coffee spot slash whatever! It's definitely kind of a chameleon type of spot which is really cool! I ordered an espresso martini to end my night with and it was delish. The server came over and took our order and she did a good job taking care of us for sure. I wish we were in town longer at this spot, because I definitely would have liked to eat here, too. read more

Loved it loved it loved it! I was staying at the Moxy and, since they don't have a restaurant or room service, I made my way down to this establishment connected to it. I'm so glad I did. They have a lot of healthier options but don't skip on the flavor one bit. I tried the Nashville chicken sandwich and truffle fries and both were delicious and well seasoned. I also tried the sweet potato skins and the keto wings with chimichurri rub on it. The wings coating was a bit grainy but good nonetheless. And lastly I tried Korean bbq flatbread and it was to die for! I only ate a slice in the restaurant and put the rest in my hotel refrigerator. The next morning it was just as good cold as it was hot the night before. I devoured it in record time! Townhall is a true gem and the Moxy are lucky it's a part of the building! read more

We stopped by Townhall for brunch prior to the Columbus Mimosa Crawl. Everything was top notch! From our amazingly, friendly waitress to the many deliciously, flavored mimosas (that kept on flowing) to the super, sweet and savory brunch items that we ordered - everything was five star and perfect! Second time into Townhall, and I'll give them their due. I had great service and appreciated how they took care of my wife and me after a shaky first visit. This time we dined on the Steak Bites shareable as a first course. Not bad. By virtue of going on a Thursday, we stumbled on their $15 burger special which included a beer or milkshake. With all due respect to the tasty burger and fries, the peanut butter honey butter shake was a treasure and maybe the best thing we had. Spouse ended up getting the Quesabirria tacos. Usually the consomme is the X factor in a birria dish, and this was no different. We weren't totally enthralled with it, but the queso that came with it was so good that I kept dipping my fries in it. This may be one of my favorite restaurants across the US! With health conscious cuisine that is absolutely mouthwatering, super fun atmosphere, to the impeccable service, this spot is hard to beat. I was in town for an event, and had to make my way back here the second day. The second dining experience just solidified how much I love this place. The outdoor seating is great for people watching, and the indoor seating is just as fun. Game day this place was buzzing! Even with a packed house, food comes out quickly and service is excellent. Our second day dining here, Mackenzie was our waitress and she was amazing. Now let's talk about the good stuff.. THE FOOD! Just based on taste alone, everything I had here was 10/10. What really sets this restaurant apart is their dedication to creating as healthy of a menu as possible, with a plethora of options including pressed juices, smoothies, broths, salads, sushi, flatbreads, bowls, and so much more! The menu here is non GMO and mostly organic, a rare find if you are looking for healthy options to dine out at. Me and a friend grabbed lunch at town hall and the food was pretty good. I was disappointed that they only do brunch on the weekends. But I made it work. The service was phenomenal, our server was very attentive. The restaurant is always clean. I ordered the honeybun latte, and for lunch I ordered the Grass-Fed cheeseburger and fries. Which was pretty tasty. I got a side of their famous wings to go, which the wings were seasoned very well and tasty! Came here with my partner on a Saturday night to have a nice dinner while popping into the short north. When we first arrived we were immediately greeted by the very kind and welcoming hostesses. I wanted a table on the patio since it was such a gorgeous night, but they were all taken. The hostess went above and beyond to get me a seat inside, while keeping an eye out for a table outdoors for us to move once it opened up. We actually got lucky and one opened up with in minutes so they shifted us out there. Our server, Ashley, greeted us instantly. She was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and personable. For our drinks I tried the green goddess and the say less. Both were delicious! Super refreshing and not too sweet. Some of the best cocktails I've had since we moved to Columbus. For appetizer we started with the loaded nachos, with steak added. They were fantastic and we ate them up fast! It had the perfect amount of toppings to chip ratio, and had a very nice balance of flavors and heat. For our entrees we got the steak skewers, which came with mushrooms, roasted brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, and a cowboy butter. The steak with the cowboy butter was absolutely amazing and gave it the perfect amount of flavor needed. The veggies were cooked to perfection. My partner isn't even a fan or sweet potatoes or mushrooms, but loved both that came with the meal. We also got the Birria tacos with steak, with an additional side of spicy broccoli, per the recommendation of our server. They are the best Birria tacos we've had to date! The broccoli was a home run. Highly recommend getting them both. Lastly, we wrapped up with the butter cake and vanilla icecream, with a cup of decaf coffee. Just like everything else, this was so so delicious. Overall amazing experience! It was amplified by the amazing service Ashley gave us, and the manager Adam who went around to each table to make sure that they were having a great time. We can't wait to come back! read more

She had great reccs and checked in on us just the right amount. Our drinks were always topped off. The vibe is very college but not drinking and crazy. The curbside pickup process here makes no sense. It said the order could take "up to 20 minutes" so I showed up 20 minutes later and still had to wait. There's not designated curbside pickup spots which I thought seemed illegal and then I got yelled at by a cop that I couldn't just sit there. Lol. The food is also mid at best. Pass. read more

Awesome atmosphere. We didn't know you needed reservations but because it was playoffs their tables were reserved. They accommodated our group of 5. The waitress was knowledgeable of the menu and made some awesome suggestions to us about our meals. Ordered the Brussels sprouts and spicy crab sushi rolls. Also had the house salad. Everything I eat was great. Had the light my fire tangy spicy and hit the spot. The waitresses here not only check on the customers but make them feel at home.
