This weekend I had them make the sandwich platter for a wedding shower that I was hosting. Cranberry apple chicken salad on a mini croissant; ham and swiss w/rasberry dijon spread on foccacia; and roast turkey W/ havarti cheese and Boursin spread. This business is a great service to the community. There are a few tables to eat in but I utilize the grab and go cases for the majority of my purchases. They publish their weekly menu Sunday late afternoon on their facebook page. Sometimes during the week there are some extra surprises. There is a weekly soup offering and dessert of the week along with a great dessert case and cookies shelf with items always on the menu. They also always have a delicious chicken salad and hummus available. Some of my favorite items available intermittently are the pot roast dinner, meatloaf dinner, salmon primavera, white chicken chili, and several of their chicken specials. They usually offer one breakfast item and a vegetarian entree as well. I do find in my oven I need to cook the larger meals longer than recommended time. The staff there are friendly and helpful. I stopped by to grab some lunch and I was not disappointed! What an incredibly freindly atmosphere they have here. From being greeted upon entering, to mentioning they are there to answer any questions, and being thanked upon leaving. The service itself already makes me want to return. The food was delicious. They have many offerings: grab and go meals, desserts to go (bars, cookies, etc.), and sandwiches/salads that are freshly prepared. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich ($9). The chicken wrap looked equally tasty and I will get that next time. The sandwich did not shy from chicken or pesto. It was very filling and tasted fresh. I also got the lemon bar and blueberry bar. Both were tasty. For the blueberry bar, I recommend heating it up for 20 seconds before eating. It was a game changer for me. They have weekly specials for their grab and go meals and desserts. Really neat concept! They have a small menu- salads and sandwiches made to order. Also, 2 huge cases of grab and go reheat options. I'm done with Preston Eatery. They tend to over season/salt. I once purchased their hummus and had to throw it out because it was so salty it was inedible. I don't like how they flavor their roast beef entrees. And I've tried twice to place a small catering order with two weeks or one week advance notice and each time they had some excuse as to why they couldn't do it. Not sure they really cater. Saw a sign that mentioned grab-and-go meals, decided to check it out. In addition to a robust catering business they also offer meals to go like Italian pot roast and vegetarian shepherd's pie. They even had sweets with things like sliced cake, cupcakes, and the local favorite buckeyes. $15-22 per entre. Comes in a round foil tin, reheats in the oven, and would generously serves two people. Great alternative to home-cooked meal at home. Or meal kits with lots of steps! Vegetarian options, also gluten-free. I definitely recommend giving them a try! read more

I happen to be a fan of meal prep services, so was excited to try a new one. Prestons meals have the added bonus of not being finished, so you do the final heat and serve from your own oven, and your food is hot and fresh! They share their menu on Facebook on Sundays, or you can just browse the cooler. I've tried the baked potato casserole, and was too busy stuffing my face to take a picture. It definitely has 2 servings. The clam chowder was good, and I Also had a cannoli cookie! I want to update to share that the Red Wine Risotto cake was fantastic! The green beans steamed perfectly iny oven, and the risotto had a nice red wine flavor and was creamy. My mom and I both really enjoyed this, and it's a nice light dinner and vegetarian option. I'd order this again, so I hope it's on offer soon! They have made to order sandwiches and salads, too, and when their few tables are open for dine in, the space is nice and bright. read more

Wow!! I can't say enough great things about the food here. The salads are beautifully prepared with high quality ingredients, and HUGE. The desserts are what keep me coming back. The key lime ginger snap bar is one of the best things I have ever tasted. I also love the butterscotch oatmeal cookie. I wish I could find them on delivery apps, because I would order them for lunch all the time. I also wish there was a way to order online. I came across a pic of Preston Catering's Hummus Layer Dip on Yelp, and knew I HAD to try the dish. All the gorgeous, bright, colorful veggies atop their scratch-made hummus we're calling my name practically demanding that I eat them now. Now. NOW!! I'm a hummus lover, I won't get into how much of one, so I was super glad to order and wait in anticipaaaaaaation! I went with the half-portion, which serves 10-15 mouths (the regular portion feeds 20-25 people) for half the price of the full size at $22. They do sell just their hummus for $7/lb, but I couldn't bear to go without all the veggies and crumbled feta that comes on the layer dip. I was surprised with the hummus taste - more tart/olive tones, and I freaking LOVED IT! I pIcked out on that stuff for a few days, eating it by the spoonful and passing off the soft tasty pita squares to family members with the greedy thought of it would save more room for me to inhale the appetizer. A little pricy? Perhaps, who knows, I've never bought anything from a catering company before. I managed to delete the picture I took of the tray, but I assure you it matched their IG photo to the T. Absolutely delicious food. Everything is very fresh and flavorful. We stumbled on Preston while visiting from out of town, and made a point to return a second time just so we could try other things. Whether it was the variety of salads, or the Italian sub I tried the second time, we found everything to be very flavorful. And then the desserts. The carrot cake may be the best I've ever had. On our second visit we tried the Texas sheet cake, another piece of carrot cake and a Buckeye bar, which I now find myself craving ever since. This is a small place that appears to mainly serve carry out and grab and go prepared meals and items that could be taken home and heated, and they all looked great as well. On top of it all, the people working there were among the most friendly and accommodating folks I've ever encountered. This is truly an exceptional establishment and we will certainly return on future visits to Columbus. read more

We love grabbing weeknight dinners from Preston's! The take and bake options are amazing, always really fresh, so delicious and easy! The salads are huge and loaded with toppings.
