Been wanting to stop here since we came to Columbus. Wish we would've come sooner. They serve large portions of pretty good food. I've had much worse. I don't know if it's me getting older or they give you a lot; but I struggled to finish. They have signature salads, bowls and wraps or build your own. Seems I always get personal and build my own. I'm getting used to wraps to cut down on heavy bread. Today I felt like having a salad; it was basically just a variation of their Cobb Chop. I always put the dressing on the side so I control how much goes on. The price was right and it was effortless. The only draw back for me was this blood orange sanpellegrino. Nasty. I've always been a Coca Cola guy and should've stuck with Coke. Boy oh boy. There were other drinks but I went with a water. My salad came out better than I'd hoped. This place definitely went above and beyond my expectations. I went in not knowing at all what to get and asked for a salad with fruit on it. These portions are HUGE and the ingredients are so fresh. I am so amazed and happy with my order. I got the Harvest Chop and added some more fruit to it. So yummy. They make the food right in front of you and you can see how amazing your salad is going to be. I wish they had another location closer to my house as it's low calories and very good. I stopped in today for lunch with a friend. It was my first Chop5 experience and I'll be back! I ordered the Korean Chop Chicken Salad. Since it was my first visit I wanted to try the salad as recommended- it had a romaine base with edamame, corn, carrots, chicken, a Thai dressing and two drizzles- wasabi and bbq sauce. Oh, and peanuts for an added crunch. The employees are so courteous when building your salad, regularly checking in on possible substitutions and preferences. Everything was fresh and delicious. I ordered a beverage, the mango green tea was excellent. The space is bright and clean, a great spot to enjoy your salad or bowl. I also noticed a lot of carry out traffic. First of all, this is NOT just a place for salads. I am not particularly fond of salads, but I love Chop5! Think of this restaurant as a healthier, fresher, Chipotle with more options. Yes, of course they have a wide variety of unique salads; but they also serve bowls, which is my go to. I prefer the rice and chicken bowl with plenty of cheese and edamame. You can also choose from a wide variety of dressings and sauces (drizzles). Spicy Teriyaki is my drizzle of choice. CHOP5 has been on my list for SO LONG and I'm so happy I finally went. Their menu is huge. There's no way you wouldn't be able to find a salad you like. You can create anything as well. As you add more toppings though, the price significantly increases. I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad and was so happy to see there wasn't any blue cheese. Finally! I was so good and I love how it's mixed and you literally watch them chop everything up. Very satisfying. My boyfriend made he own and enjoyed it. I tried Chop 5 yesterday as it's been on my radar for a while to try. My daughter and I had some time between our dogs spaw bath to grab some lunch. As others stated they were nervous how the food tasted based on the presentation. I was skeptical too yesterday as I felt the Brussels sprouts looked a bit undercooked. I also didn't like how unorganized they were when it came to orders. They need a better system of taking orders from the start. My order was ready before people ahead of me and they almost got my order due to the time it took to make it. The best concept would be to serve others ahead of you and then when it's your turn get your order when you are about to be ready. That said make my order as I'm close to checking out. I liked the sweet potato bowl it's just overloaded by the sauce. Next time I will go without the sauce as it overpowered the vegetables. I like tasting natural and fresh ingredients. Next time, I may have to try a salad instead and the crave-a-bowls were a bit overpowering. I have a lot of salad options in mind too. read more

The menu is big and a tad overwhelming but every time I've been in to order at the counter instead on ordering online, the people working have enthusiastically helped me order. I've only ever ordered a salad but they do also have soup and rice/grain bowls. Their selection of iced teas and lemonades are also great! I highly, HIGHLY recommend the seasonal watermelon salad. It's huge, light, summery and is great with chicken added. And I know it's literally in their name, but I really love places that offer chipped salads. Fabulous experience ordering through the Yelp app. I was able to order, add toppings and customize my order very easily with online ordering. I showed up on time and my prepaid, bagged order was already on the pick up rack. It literally took me about 15 seconds to get in and get out. Maybe 10! The food: the best part is that it was pre mixed! I really appreciated that. The veggies were all top notch. I am pretty sure their meats come precooked and cold, so the chicken definitely tasted... kind of old. But I'm sure it cuts costs to do so. I'd definitely eat here again! On Tuesday, I got a salad and a bowl. The same order and thing I have done at least 5 times a month over the last year. When I saw my bowl it wasn't as full as it normally is and I mentioned it to the person behind the counter. She defensively told me it's the same amount. I shared with her I patron the restaurant often and get the same thing every time and there is a difference. She was dismissive and said there was no change. A gentleman walked up, I believe was the manager, and asked if he could look in my bowl. Once he looked inside he saw that bowl was missing something, apologized and went to fix it. As he was fixing the issue, he shared with the person who made it and the person I spoke to that the bowl was missing something it was suppose to have in it and the person who made the bowl apologized to the manager for the missing item(s). Mistakes can happen with an order and be rectified. That is completely understandable. But, negative treatment of customers is unacceptable. I don't normally leave reviews, but there was an issue once before at this location. I like their food, but the customer service has been questionable. read more

Yum yum yum! Chop5 was the perfect spot for a healthy and flavorful lunch option. They have a huge menu consisting of salads, bowls and wraps. I placed an order online for pickup and my food was waiting inside in the pickup section upon arrival. I ordered the Korean BBQ Salad which came with a selection of 3 different dressings/sauces which were really good mixed together. It is a bit on the pricey side but not out of line with other places based on rising food costs. My only recommendation would be for the people who make your salad to slow down a little.
