Stopped into Rebol today after visiting the Dublin Farmers Market. I initially went in for a quick latte since there wasn't much of a line, but I decided to also stay for lunch and I'm glad I did. You can order either at the counter or at a kiosk. You get a buzzer, your food is prepared very quickly, and then ready to be picked up at the counter. The ambiance was great. Plants everywhere, windows were open on a very nice day out, and it was very clean. The latte was smooth and balanced, the espresso was not too bitter at all. The food was delicious, super filling, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. Rebol is known for its non-GMO, organic, nutrient-rich menu, and it definitely lived up to the hype. My favorite place in Columbus! The Immunity Broth (chicken broth) with lemon and lots of garlic was the perfect drink when you're feeling under the weather. The Vegan Bowl 2.0 had flavorful and crispy falafels yet not oily and the vinegar from the pickled cucumbers and veg was a great complement to the kale, hummus, and guacamole. Rebol is such a great spot! I really love their menu items! I have visited twice now for takeout and I love steak naan bowl and the chickenchurri (sorry for spelling errors). They also have amazing bone broth options! My sister in law and I have been on a bone broth kick lately and REBoL has an awesome array of options and add ons. They also have w great smoothie/juice selection! Their food and drinks are amazing! One star drop for the space - it's loud and chaotic. The ordering is awkward because you can choose the kiosk option to skip the line but there's usually only a line at the kiosk because you seldom see anyone working the counter. The food is so, so good. Portions are generous. My favorite items are bone broth, açaí bowl add almond butter and byo bowl. I love that they make family packs that serve 4-5 for $50-65 (depending on proteins chosen). You can add a quart of bone broth for $5. I break the pack and bone broth (+1 more) into my 5 lunches and snack for the work week. People complain about the pricing but coming in at $12-14 per day for clean, high quality food that takes around 5 minutes prep time to split into glass containers is a massive win for this busy mom. read more

I have had excellent bone broth here and I have had greasy water with no flavor. If you are running out of bone broth just say that. Don't add water and pass it off to your customer. Had to try a customized bone broths (1-chicken w grilled veggie) (2-apple cider garlic and scallions) for health cleanse and it was so good, going to get it regularly. We came here on a Saturday afternoon for the first time. I was excited to try it based on reviews and the poke bowl, specifically. I got the Tuna poke bowl and it comes with various toppings and sauces. You can also build your own bowl and customize what you want in it! I felt that the flavors were a bit lacking, it wasn't what I was expecting and it could have been more flavorful and seasoned for the price. A base bowl is about $12 and could go upwards per single bowl depending on add ons. I felt that the sauces were a bit bland but the grilled veggies were delicious! I couldn't really taste the tuna and couldn't distinguish if it was fresh or not. The sprouts were a good touch and the salsa was decent. I wish there was a bit more rice or kale, I felt that the entire thing was good but not satisfying. Overall, I would come back to try other things. They have an interesting selection of drinks, lattes, smoothies, etc. The space is beautiful, very light and bright, and the concept is good. There's a kiosk to order and it was easy to use, but I felt that the wait time was a bit slow. For 2 bowls to go, we waited about 20-25 minutes. I was at the Dublin market and stopped in here for lunch. It's open and full of natural lighting inside. They have a kiosk for you to order or you can go up to an employee. I did a BYOB with rice, chicken, hummus, grilled veggies, and sprouts, with a cilantro aioli. At first there wasn't too much flavor so I asked for a side of their hot sauce which made it a lot better for me. I also got a rose matcha latte. This was disappointing for me as it was so watered down you couldn't get the flavor of the tea. My friend got the naan chimi chicken bowl and that looked amazing. We stopped in for a quick snack and wow were we pleasantly surprised! The girls that took the order really helped guide us through the selection process. We stopped in for breakfast during the midst of the Dublin Market at Bridge Park. The inside is pretty swanky with several different seating options, cool decorations, and a large glass garage door that opens to allow access to a small outdoor seating area. You'll notice the vibes are eerily similar to TownHall in Short North and they both have a nitro cold brew coffee dubbed 'nature's adderall', so I'm guessing they're part of the same ownership group. You order at the counter, wait for the food to be ready, receive it at the counter and sit wherever you'd like. I went with the 'porky picante' which comes with eggs, open face chorizo, provolone and house sauce on a brioche bun. My SO tried the 'wakin bacon', a similar sandwich with bacon and a different sauce. We both got iced coffees. Of note, if you check in on Yelp you get a free coffee, so that helped with the price. The food was ready rather quickly and I enjoyed my sandwich. They didn't have a condiment station which was disappointing as I was hoping to add some ketchup. I probably could've asked for some ketchup on the side, but oh well. My SO wasn't a fan of her sandwich mainly because the hot sauce was too overpowering for breakfast. I tried a bite and definitely didn't like it as much as mine. We were both very disappointed in the coffee. It was extremely acidic and to top it off, they don't have any sugar or sweetener that you can add to it. They only have packets of 'sugar in the raw', which is quite possibly the worst type of sweetener as it does not dissolve, so you end up getting grains of sugar every sip -- gross. The coffee is touted as organic and 'certified toxin free' so perhaps we're just not used to the au naturel flavor? Regardless, we went across the street to a different coffee shop to add some splenda and still weren't able to drink much of it. Overall, the breakfast sandwich was worthy of 4 stars, but the horrendous coffee has me bumping this review down to 3 stars. read more

I typically like to make my own bowl but recently I changed things up and ordered their signature billionaire naan bol which had steak, shrimp, rice, citrus gauc, corn elotes, cukes+beets, scallions, crispy garlic & yum yum sauce which was so good. They have so many different options on their menu for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Rebol is located in bridge park so they have some street parking in front of the restaurant and around the area but no parking lot. There is plenty of seating on the inside and is a popular place for people to come and work as well. Their inside seating opens up to their outdoor seating when the weather is nice which makes it have a really nice open concept. They also have a little market in the restaurant where they sell organic foods and supplements. They have delicious drinks ranging from coffee to lemonade to smoothies, etc. There's a healthy option here for everyone! I've seen this spot several times and today we decided to give it a try due to INSTAGRAM and boy oh boy do I wish we didn't. If you're running a marathon and want to stop halfway to "eat" at a place to feel like you kinda didn't eat at all, and then finish your marathon afterwards this is the place for you. If you want to not feel satiated, not feel full, and feel light and airy like you just drank a cup of water or some soup or broth this is the place for you. If you're auditioning out in LA in a couple of days or want to reprise Christian Bales role in the move the MACHINIST then this is just the place for you. The good: EVERYTHING tastes fairly fresh and house made. Nothing tasted like it came from the frozen food section of GFS, Sam's Club, Costco, Aldi's or Krogers. The bad: Convoluted ordering system that's not too user friendly. This isn't the type of place where you watch them make your bowl and can order how much of this or double the protein of that. You order and whatever they give you from behind their kitchen is what it is. How at 1pm the day after a NATIONAL HOLIDAY half the items on their menu are OUT OF STOCK? Skimpy portions. Folks are on Chipotle's neck for how stingy they are but if you look in the dictionary under stingy then a picture of REBOL should be there. The steak 2.0 barely had any rice as the base. Why be stingy with rice for Christs sake? I shouldn't be able to successfully count how many grains of rice in my entree! Portions are that minuscule. It's not like they were using premium rice like jasmine or basmati either. $15 bowl and barely any steak or iceberg lettuce for that matter. There were more BEETS in my bowl than anything. It's like 90 outside yet 95 degrees on the inside of this spot. You'd think at $15 per bowl or more this establishment in one of the wealthiest suburbs of Columbus (Dublin) could afford AIR CONDITIONING. Maybe they were trying to give their client base the feeling like they were in a SAUNA to add to their health, exercise, sustainability, BIKRAM CHOUDHURY hot yoga theme and ambiance this place is pushing. There as dozens of "go down the line and order your type of bowl" in Columbus that you pass up to go here and I just feel like it's not worth the drive, inconvenience, and ANOREXIC SKIMPY PORTIONS to the other places over for this spot . It's a couple of local INSTAGRAM food bloggers who have been to this spot and maybe called ahead and gave the place a heads up so they'll know to give them bowls that's over flowing with proteins and ingredients so it can be posted to social media for likes and promo purposes. Nevertheless, an average hard working regular SMEGULAR guy like myself was given an ANOREXIC OLSEN TWINS looking bowl like they didn't give a rats ass who I was. Long story short don't fall for the social media trap kinda like we did to get up in that place because food on social media was falling off the plate. The menu is healthy and packed with protein, vegetables, grains. It's a great place to go if you are with people with different dietary restrictions and allergies/intolerances. Vegan, gluten free, pescatarian, vegetarian. You can easily build your own meal here which is fantastic! I chose the Chimi chicken bowl. It had Rice, Black Bean, Corn that had a sauce with it, guacamole, grilled vegetables, and chimichurri. Tasted great! Couldn't finish and saved the rest for the next day. My sister got the po-Kay tuna. It had rice, beets, corn with the sauce, black beans, and pickled vegetables. She also enjoyed! They text when your order is ready. This is why I don't trust hype. This place is hyped, supposed to be fast casual, and healthy, etc. Well, it's overhyped. And it's slow casual. It does seem pretty healthy. But it's also very expensive for what it is, and overly hip, and not very pleasant inside or out. It's loud, and there is no distancing of tables. There's outdoor seating, but you're right there in the traffic. The chairs and tables are hard and heavy and have sharp corners, and you would think they would be stable being so heavy, but they are tippy. Service was good- well, friendly when I ordered and helpful when I told them I was there for the first time, but then the food was very slow to come out for what is essentially a small rice bowl thrown together. Got the sweet potato fries, and a rice bowl with steak, chimichurri, elote, goat cheese, and guacamole. Garlic and other toppers if you want them. The ingredients are pretty good. The steak, what there was of it, was flavorful. The guacamole was very good. The goat cheese was good. The elote was good. The sweet potato fries were pretty good. But they were all good not great. And the portion size was small. They have Buckeye Soda, which is actually from Root Naturals, which is pretty good. They have lots of coffees and smoothies and alcoholic drinks, so maybe it's for a different crowd. It's hard to find. That is, it's pretty obvious roughly where it is, but the signage sucks. There's a little sign tucked in one corner, and there's a big sign out front, but it's black on rust so it's hard to see. I just parked near what where Yelp told me it was and walked around looking. Essentially, the food was good not great but the experience was not much fun, and I can get more food, that's just as healthy and tasty, for literally half the price at many "build your own" places around town. Are we just paying for their rent? Your mileage may vary; maybe a hip, expensive Chipotle/Agape with drinks is your thing. It's not mine, and I won't be back. read more
