Brekkie remains the benchmark for an amazing brunch. Anytime I'm close I find a reason to stop in. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. You order when you enter and find a table to enjoy a drink at while your foods being made. The owners are delightful and you can feel the passion they have for the business and their warmth towards customers Onto the food. 5+ stars. My kids love the pancakes. They are large and when you ask for chocolate chips...it's no joke. My wife love the veggie hash and they cook the eggs to her liking. I love the egg sandwiches. I've had them all and you can't go wrong. I personally love the way they cook Brussels sprouts and incorporate them into meals. I only wish there were more Brekkie shacks around town!

Brekkie Shack is a breakfast go to for me. They always have fresh avocado and the portions per price is very reasonable! We get it to go a lot but have eaten there before. It's cute and easy to order. I usually get the burrito which is very filling and stuffed with eggs. They use to have make your own burrito which I kind of miss but you can edit any dish. I got coastin burrito add sausage and came with gator tots all for $13. We got it delivered via Uber eats and it was still warm by the time we got it. As for the food it's almost for me. I always have to add a sauce or hot sauce to give it a little more flavor but for the most part the food is always good and consistent and I don't feel like a grease put after I eat it. It definitely leans more healthy which I like to start my day!!

Great options and good vibes! I loved the open air breeze they had coming in, and my summer veggie bowl was delicious. I think it could have used more variety of texture (maybe add avocado and/or pickled red onion, or other such things to keep it Vegan/GF that makes it feel fresher with all the oily crispy sprouts and greens? Wow, this review turned into a really specific recommendation no one asked for

Seriously such amazing food for the right price. Unique and delicious. I want to go back and try more of their sweet treats and the rest of the menu.

Empty at 945 on a Monday. Heard a lot about this location, but a first time visitor. It is in the midst of a huge population of apartments and businesses . I'm sure that is good for Brekkie. I immediately noticed the cement floors were sticky. Hmm. Walked up to order and was greeted nicely. I ended up with their standard egg sandwich on brioche and a coffee. Hmm, the table tops are sticky too. Sandwich was not special at all, in fact it was over cooked. Or it had been lying around. I'm not sure. Coffee was lukewarm and they did rectify that. Maybe it was a bad day. Very welcoming decor.

Met a good friend here for breakfast yesterday and it was busy but not too busy when we met about 10 am on a Friday. When you first come in they have a case of baked goods and pastries you can order from, but we went right to the menu and each ordered the Brekkie of Champions--wheat toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and Brussels sprout/sweet potato hash. My favorites were the bacon and the hash. The eggs were kind of dry to me and more custardy like quiche than scrambley to me. Yes, the price is a little elevated here but it's a great atmosphere and they are obviously using top notch ingredients. I'll be back when in Grandview.

Both the hash and the burrito were dry, overpriced, and bland. Disappointing. Uninspired. Bougie but not good.

The prices are refreshingly fair, the food comes out fresh every single time, and the vegetarian options? Chef's kiss. I blanked on the name of my dish but my taste buds definitely remember it. The place is not big and they usually have large parties coming in, thus fills the space quickly. We started with Tofu chicharron which we were expecting to be crispy - because chicharron means 'crackling pork rinds' but these Tofu were soft a lil disappointed there. We tried the pork sisig, it was okay. It has this mayo topping and there's an overpowering taste of ginger which is not typical of sisig. We enjoyed the grilled pork belly though, marinated enough and it's complimented with soy vinegar dip. The pancit on the other hand was very greasy. The oil was pooling at the bottom of the bowl. Taste was was just okay. It has way too many chinese sausage in it. We completed our meal with Ube Carioca, it is this chewy rice cake that is deep fried with glazed sweetness & that was okay as well. We wanted the mango sago, however they were out. The service was prompt and adequate parking space.

The atmosphere was modern with a southern twist. I'm not going to lie, I chuckled a bit when I noticed my water glass said "Bless Your Heart". In Appalachian culture, this is actually an insult. I started with a specialty sip cocktail - an Orange Cinnamon Bun Old Fashioned, and ordered 3 apps since they were half-priced for happy hour. The Biscuits for a Cause (2 with butter, jam and honey), Fried Pickles (chips with ranch), and Famous Fried Green Tomatoes (I don't normally like goat cheese, but these are served with stone-ground goat cheese grits) were all fabulous and I had plenty to take home after trying all. I had a glass of red blend wine with my entree, which was the Pan-Seared Salmon. My two chosen sides were the mashed potatoes and fried okra. The salmon was perfectly cooked; it was a great dish. I also got the Rosemary & Parmesan Breakfast Potatoes to go to have with my breakfast this morning. The service, food and atmosphere were all very enjoyable. The manager also helped out bringing food, and checking on me. I would return for another meal.

The food was decent. It's diner quality so it does the job. Hot, filling, and reasonably priced. I also tried the pistachio rose latte while my friend got a shot of espresso.
