This is my first visit. I ordered the western omelette with hash browns. The meal came out quickly and was presented well. The omelette was huge and they do not skimp on the cheese. Staff was friendly and service was good. Only items I see room for improvement are the coffee and the carpet. This is the only place that makes breakfast the way I like it. No one comes close in this price range. The eggs are always done perfectly and pancakes done to my preference, thin and well done. We've been coming here for years. The people are always friendly and the meals are served hot and on time. We have only one problem with it and that is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It's always been hit and miss but this week when we visited I was appalled. I don't think the floor had been cleaned since last time I was in. The door to the stall was sticky on the inside and filthy on the outside. It made me wonder what the kitchen was like and I don't know when I'll go back if ever. It's too bad that one thing can ruin a review that would otherwise be a 5 star. Good grief people buy some cleaning products and go to work in there!! It's disgusting. read more

We eat there a lot. I used to prefer First Watch but now I am more of a Scrambler Marie's fan. Nothing special but I think I may be addicted to their potato chunks. They are salty and I used to have to drink water all day... I am not aware of that anymore. I am probably totally addicted now. The Field of Dreams Sandwich is really good... I order it without the bread so it is just like a small omelette. I feel like a fussy orderer though when I order it because I have to say no bread and then ask for the sauce on the side. Either the Parsons location is extremely racist or just have horrible customer service. I admit I arrived at 2:55 pm but their posted hours are 6:30 am until 3 pm. If you did not want people to visit your establishment until 3 pm, you should post the hours ending at 2:45. The reason I feel it may have been racist is because I parked and literally seen the lady break her neck running through the store to lock the door. Then a white customer casually came walked up to pick up after me to get an order. WOW! I wanted pickup as well. After the white male left she immediately locked the door again. Horrific experience. I wanted to voice my concerns and she refused to answer the phone and after I called ten times or more she took the phone off the hook. This was my last day to redeem my free birthday breakfast. This past Sunday morning my 3 friend's and I had went to this location to start the lords day off. As we are steaming down I-71 we noticed a place come up called "Scramblers" that was very close to our precise location. We started to read off the menu, by the time Paxton (the co-pilot) was done, I couldn't help to notice that everyone in the car was licking their chops. As stomachs growled and Paul's subpar driving made a few wrong turns, by no time we were in the parking lot. The first thing I noticed was a lovely couple leaving the restaurant, however as they got into their van, I noticed the man get way into the back and the lady hop in the drivers seat. As they drove off into the hot swamp ass type of day I thought "holy shit that's the first time I've seen that. Does he not feel well? Or did he have too many endless flapjacks?" Many questions pondered my mind, but let's get back to reality. As I walked into the restaurant I couldn't tell if I was in the Family Guy episode "Baby not on board" which first premiered on November 2nd 2008, season 7 episode 4. Essentially Stewie is left behind by the Griffin family and is forced to work at the substandard "Mcburgertown" in Quahog. These two restaurants looked very similar on the inside. After I debated between the "Awesome Avacado" and "Uncle Moose's Manhandler" I decided to pick the healthier choice and please remember my stomach was feeling queasy. Once I put in my order I decided to head to the Oval Office. As I got into the bathroom, I noticed a man was on the shitter. I made the tough decision to stick it out and just wash my hands than head back to breakfast. However, as I was washing my paws I forgot about the man on the shitter. So without thinking, I had clicked the light switch to "off" as I walked out of the gentlemen's room. I did not realize until halfway to the table I did that heinous act. I was unsure to go back and turn on the light or just act like it never happened. Comment below what the right choice was in that situation. Once I returned to the table, my food was ready and my friends were digging in. I must say the loaded hash browns did remind me of my alcoholic Uncle Stone who use to make those after we worked on his truck. The omelette was very similar to the ones that are made at any college dining hall, but I'm not going to bitch too much. After all, I cannot even make one despite how many YouTube videos I watch. I would love to give scramblers a stellar review as the food is AMAZING!.... However, I do have one significant complaint about this location. The restaurant is poorly designed for to go orders. Rather than having a hostess take care of to go orders, as many restaurant do, the servers handle them on top of their tables. This would normally be fine, but there is a definite sense of attitude coming from multiple servers who have handled my to go orders. They even answer the phone rudely! I understand it's probably frustrating and inconvenient for the servers, but as a tipping customer who has been nothing but kind, I'm frequently disappointed by this :( read more

I had the spinach and bacon quiche and hubby got the pumpkin filled french toast and we shared a side of biscuits. 3.5 stars for the food..yummy but a bit cold. But 5 for everything else. It's a but sweet for me but he really seemed to like them! It was still really good, but it did get cold kind of quick. My quiche was a little dry, and more like a folded over omelet with spinach in the middle with loads of bacon. The whole time you're eating them you keep thinking "No way these things are good for you...dam you for being so tasty!" We're not even biscuit people, but these were warm and covered in mushroom gravy. So dam good it hurt! The coffee...it deserves it's own paragraph here. All you need to know is one simple word....endless!! Ok, maybe 2 words.....ENDLESS FREE COFFEE!!!! This Jersey girls heart just skipped a beat! FREE COFFE!?!?! *insert scream* They have a flavor of the month too. This month is caramel apple...really good!!! Plus they let you take home a cup...also free! There's creamers too if you like that kind of things; French vanilla, haz, and regular. I prefer milk in mine which they bring out to you in those cute little metal cream containers. Not like ihop does those..you get your own! The small things matter in life and this place gets that! Like when they bring out your food and drop off ketchup and Franks. Anyone know knows hot sauce knows that Franks is the best! I hate tobacco sauce and most breakfast places offer you it..if at all. This place had Franks!! I didn't use it but you know you're in good hands when a place pays extra for the good stuff! I can only imagine what else they have in the kitchen....point is that if theyre offering something stupid like Franks they must go all out in the back with ingredients that do matter; like the brand of cheese for example. Like their policy on eggs. When you order your (ex) omelet they then crack each egg upon order. So when I ordered my quiche they cracked each egg and made it fresh from scratch; it evens explains this in their menu for all to see. Another policy...the Blue Plate .....if when you get your food it comes on 'the blue plate' your meal if free! Yeah..FREE!!! Not sure how many blue plates they have but who can argue with free food? Great spot for breakfast! This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was really impressed by the employees. Every single one was nice, really attentive, and cared about our dining experience. On top of that, the food was excellent and quite inexpensive. I was pleasantly surprised with all of the food that we got, yet the bill was just slightly over $20. Again, I was really impressed with the professionalism of the employees. It appeared to me that whoever runs this location has it running like a machine; it was quite busy when we went yet we were seated within five minutes. I'll be going back for sure! read more

I honestly dont even know where to begin. I called to place a order to go for pick up. I ordered the classic with sunnyside up eggs, bacon, pancakes and hashbrowns. My husband ordered the chicken fajita omelette with hashbrowns and a english muffin. When we arrived to the restaurant to pick our order they us that they had given our food to the wrong person! Luckily my husband my husband went in instead of me. They replaced and covered the order then we went home to eat it and omg... I am so disappointed.. My husbands food was good other than his hashbrowns.. they were not cooked all the way. My meal was straight up trash. My hashbrowns were the worst. If i ever go here again. I will be sure to get an omelette or a scrambler. read more

Love coming here for brunch in the weekends. Some of my favorites include the Open Faced Smothered Croissant and the Traditional Benny. This weekend I opted for the stuffed French toast! Awesome! I also love getting the potato chunks well done - nice and crispy. Portion sizes are very large and price is reasonable. You can also customize anything so you get exactly what you want. Wait times can be a concern if you go around 10am but we usually eat around noon and wait less than 5 minutes. read more

Son #2 and I were in town for a weekend of soccer. Games wrapped up Sunday morning and we were looking for a place to carbo/protein/caffeine load before driving home. Since our first breakfast consisted of yogurts and granola bars, this place looked pretty good. It was. We both ordered different meals, but we shared them with each other, which made it great. We got one of their 4 egg omelets loaded with all good things, and a stack of French toast. Coffee for me, juice for him. Meals came with sides so I got fruit, and he got something else...maybe a muffin. No matter though, because whatever they gave us was devoured in short order. Our waitress was very nice and enjoyable to talk to. Friendly, but not too much as she was all about getting us fat and happy and out the door for the next rotation of customers. Omelet was perfect, and so was the French toast. Coffee, juice, fruit, was all good. Only thing that seemed like a negative was the ambience of the place. Outside it doesn't look like a good breakfast place, and inside was just bleh. Had no bearing on the food, but I just can't give more than a super solid 4 star. I'm hungry again. This is our second time at this location and we love it just as much as the first time we were here. We have had several omelettes, skillets, pancakes, and their Benedict and have yet to be disappointed. The food here is consistently top notch - but consider yourself warned when I say they are VERY generous with their portions. Being that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, I am always tempted to try everything on the menu - which explains the long list of items we've tried in just 2 visits - and this breakfast snob has always been pleased. Their eggs are ACTUALLY cooked exactly as ordered instead of just "close enough" as some other breakfast joints do. But, most importantly, their staff is phenomenal. Great diner food but in a clean setting. We stop in about once a month and get a tasty, filling breakfast for our money. When ordering on the side you get huge portions of the hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy. The rocky top French toast is delicious and so filling that you can hardly order more as part of the unlimited deal. And their pancakes are perfect- fluffy and buttery goodness. Just finished a great brunch in the middle of the Christmas week. Big crowd. It was handled very efficiently. It was best that we arrived by 9:30. I had the "Flag City" skillet which was a large portion though I opted for "mini" size. Basted or poached, the eggs were "dippy egg" style and dripped over the other skillet ingredients (tomatoes, hash browns, bacon, and Swiss cheese) nicely. Ice water, good coffee, and a delicious biscuit rounded it out well. My daughter had the "Field of Dreams" breakfast sandwich. ("spinach, tomato and mushroom mixed with scrambled eggs, Monterey Jack and yellow cheddar, piled on thick wheat toast with sun-dried tomato sauce.") She enjoyed it with cranberry juice and a fresh fruit side. Our waiter, Tyler, was pleasant and knowledgeable. He was not bothered by the large crowd, hence all the more professional.
