I've never had them on a burger before. And then the tallow fries... Wow! The perfect combo of crunch on the outside with a slightly softer inside. Tried just the chicken wings last night from Primal Cuts... they are located in "Rodeo 72" food court, so we got many items from several different places and we decided to try the "Bourbon BBQ" wings from Primal Cuts... I've had A LOT of wings in my life, and these were the absolute best! My husband and I couldn't stop talking about how delicious the Bourbon BBQ flavor was, and how tender the chicken was! Wings can be work to eat, but not these! They were so tender and the meat just fell off the bone, plus the flavor was so good! It was about $13 for 6 wings, they were a good size, and they were definitely worth it! We want to go back and try more from this place now, like the steaks! But I can officially vouch for the wings, you must try them! read more

I was very excited to try out this food spot in the Groves and was mildly disappointed in the food I received. What I ordered: Classic smash, tallow fries, mushrooms, Caesar salad. - The smash burger was about what I expected, the meat tasted fresh and the sauce was good, other than that it was pretty basic. - The tallow fries were the highlight of the meal! They were very crisp and you could definitely taste the difference from regular fries fried in oil. - The mushrooms were cooked well and not slimy or hard, but they had zero seasoning. Maybe this was intentional, and thankfully I do enjoy the taste of plain mushrooms, but they were lacking. Not even salt or pepper ‍ - As for the Caesar salad, it was what you would expect from a fast-casual restaurant: romaine, croutons, and Parmesan cheese. My order, however, did not include any dressing. I made the mistake of not thoroughly checking my order before leaving the premises to ensure the dressing was in the bag, but I had assumed it would be. I went towards the end of the night when they didn't seem to have any other customers, so the lack of attention to detail was slightly disappointing. It was insanely juicy, and tender Cooked perfectly to my liking. Medium rare! The whole concept is super cool. I spent $78 for a filet, a burger, fries, and asparagus for it to be in a box. Also sides are separate. Honestly, it was a let down. The filet ended up getting oily and I don't know if it's because of the box or what. Filet didn't look like a filet. It was ok but I've had way better. At the end of the day I ended up with a stomach ache. The service was also slow. Probably took a good 30-40 mins to get the food. I noticed if you order at the bar you get table service but if you order upfront you get it in a big white bag and a box with plastic utensils. Kind of disappointing. Very expensive as well. $38 for filet? I can go to Benihanas and have a whole meal for that price. Also I wasn't even full. Kind of weird. I ended up feeling sick after. Will I return? As someone who's health conscious I care what I put into my body and the fact the meat is %100 grass fed beef and the fries are made with beef tallow rather than canola oil aka motor oil.
