    The skirt

My 1st time trying their smash burger and omg it's was excellent. The burger was cooked perfectly and had an awesome skirt to it. It went really well with the potato buns. I also got sweet potato fries and that was great. I had ordered online and when I got there I had to wait about 5 mins for it to be finished. It was really convenient to do this.

Our food 40 minutes later because they likely gave ours away I assume. Out of onions, food wasn't even good.

We ended up over at For the Win, but unfortunately it was a major loss. What could go wrong with smash burgers? I love cheeseburgers. We arrived on a Sunday evening a little after 6pm, and were immediately told that they were out of onions. Despite not being a fan of onions, I found that sad since the burgers only came with onions and pickles. So we ordered a single patty hamburger and a single patty cheeseburger, the hamburger without pickles. We also ordered a side of fries and a side of loaded fries although there won't be grilled onions. For drinks you can get a canned soda for $2.75, we caved and got two. I would have opted for a milkshake but we had plans to get dessert later. Who knows how that would have gone if I had, considering our experience. It wasn't until after I paid that I was informed that there would be a 20 minute wait as they were busy. For a menu with just a few items? These burgers or a grilled cheese, and four side options? I also looked at my receipt and saw a 4% Kitchen Service Fee. Like... really? This is happening more and more? Where are all my fees and tips for working? And after our experience I have no idea where this fee is going to! I had already added a 15% tip too, which proves my point completely on why I rarely do that. I tip at front to have food brought to me and the experience can be really bad, like it was, but they already got a tip so who cares? Steven noticed one of the cooks didn't flip the burger right and it smacked against the metal side of the grill. He simply removed it and continued cooking it. We took a table outside. There were three. The inside was full. We noticed the various cobwebs along the windows. After about ten minutes I noticed we never even got our sodas, so I went inside to retrieve them. I was going to wash my hands in the restroom but whoever was in there was apparently stuck. Maybe the food went through them because they had no desire to come out. I eventually got to wash my hands. I went back outside and when it had now been 25 minutes. As if 20 wasn't bad enough. I had observed multiple people leaving with food that ordered after us and was starting to get extremely irritable. I waited around 7 more minutes to finally get the cashier who was now helping in the kitchen to check my order. I heard him saying my name and the cooks answered with who knows what and he came back to tell me it was coming soon. In the meantime I watched people after me get their food, eat, and even left before we even received our food. I watched two more people who ordered after me get their food. Must be nice. I was told again that it was coming up. While I waited I observed the path to the kitchen and that was horrifying as the floor was nasty, there was clutter and wires all over the place behind the register and leading up to the cooks. So I am assuming we were just skipped or lost or someone received our food before. They don't come out to give you your food so I had to stand and wait forever. After 40 minutes (literally) I was given my food. No apology, no explanation. My burger was also missing the pickle so it was sauce and meat and sauce/cheese meat for us. The loaded fries had burnt congealed cheese with sauce on top. The food wasn't even good after all of this mess. I was completely over it. They seem to have good reviews so something goes right at times. I will not be back.

Glad to see a well-designed foodie spot finally open in this part of town. The space is clean, modern, service is chill. Tried their double hamburger and a double cheeseburger , the crispy, thin patty is interesting and has a nice texture. Personally, I think it would be better with a little less salt, but still worth a try. At $11, it feels a bit pricey for the portion size, but you're partly paying for the vibe and concept.

Stopped by to check it out since it's been on my list for a bit. With friendly service and a little outdoor patio with string lights, it exceeded our expectations. The burger patty was a little salty for my taste but good nonetheless. The fries were perfect! There is a small parking lot and a few tables inside but it seems like most of their business might be for take out.

    Double Smashed Cheese Burger. Solid.

Was satisfied with my meal as a first termer. Ordered the Double Cheese Burger and Loaded Fries. Literally a solid burger. Actually got 2 for the price of one. Unbeatable considering the quality and taste being what can be considered top tier as far as burgers and fries go. Running a lot of burgers over (on burger highway) with this. Thank you for a delicious experience. Was no disappointments had here. Will surely be back. Gratitude and give thanks for a great meal experience that was For The Win indeed.

    Not worth it.

The service was friendly. We talked to John behind the counter and he was a great representative for this establishment. Service alone I would give it 5 stars. Food was great. Was the price for a double smashed patty, no lettuce, no tomatoes, side of secrete sauce that only half filled the condiments container, no drink, added cost for fries worth the price? NO. For the amount of hype this place has received, it was disappointing to see all the upcharges they threw on the customer for what normally should be included in the burger. 3 stars for the service and for having served great hamburger patties. I just can't seem to get over nearly paying $20 for a double patty cheeseburger that didn't include lettuce or tomatoes as a standard addition to their burgers. I wish I thought to have taken a picture of every uncharge shown on the self-service kiosk.

Loveee smash burgers and for the win comes to mind whenever we're in the mood for them!!! I would recommend a double for a regular person, triple for the husbands. Ordered online for pickup and quickly walked in and our order was ready! Also so not sleep on the sweet potatoes fries! We ordered to go and they were still crispy by the time we got home!!! Small corner shop located in a tiny shopping center. Not much parking but people come and go pretty quickly.

For a double patty smashburger, it was surprisingly thick and packed with flavor, topped with delicious grilled onions, jalapeños, and their house sauce. The Martin's buns were really good, especially toasted with butter. The onion rings had a great crunch and were well seasoned. The original fries were good and above average, especially for regular fries.

The food was delicious first time, regretted my choices at central market bc I didn't try this place but I'm happy one is closer to our home. We will be back soon!

I finally got the chance to try this smash burger spot, especially after seeing some mixed reviews online. I got lucky, I didn't experience any wait times. When I walked in, I was the only customer. The service was very friendly, and the cashier even recommended a few items on the menu. I ordered the double smash burger with added bacon and the loaded fries (also with bacon). The burger itself was really good. The patties were cooked well with a nice crispy edge. The caramelized onions added a nice sweet touch and the bun was soft and held up well. The star of the burger, though, was definitely their special sauce. It tied everything together perfectly with a zesty flavor. I would compare the impact to the burger as the Cane's sauce to its tenders, but in my opinion for the win's special sauce is slightly better. The loaded fries were a bit underwhelming since the fries themselves were nothing special. Thankfully, the sauce carried them and kept them from being a total miss. My only real complaint was the pricing. It felt a little on the higher side for what you get.

Exterior and signage...not so visible at night from the street.

Casual burger joint. We were welcomed immediately and sat at one of the only two tables inside the place (total seating for eight). They do have a patio on the side of the building with much more seating. We placed our order at the counter. Unfortunately, they were out of chicken, pickles, and Brussels sprouts. They have milk shakes (strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla); however, they were also out of chocolate and vanilla. During our entire visit, the guys were in the grill area chatting/cussing (lots of "F" bombs) which was open and within earshot of the customers. Not very professional. I also noticed a lot of supplies stored in the back corner of the dining area. Not very nice to look at. Maybe a simple screen could hide this stuff. We ordered three Cheeseburgers, adding bacon, and they were extremely salty. The French fries were okay, and my wife enjoyed her strawberry shake, but said it wasn't anything special. The tables had hidden drawers containing packets of ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. At least the '80s music was good. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be going back.

Cheeseburger day $2 cheeseburger $5 fries $1.25 sauce (mayo & ketchup w chipotle powder) But if you can't have gluten, you cannot ask for lettuce wrapped Lettuce is cheaper than buns, but ok thanks Well so much for customer service plus they were kind of rude when they gave me my food Workers complaining they are tired from the cheeseburger special rush. Then one has to smoke, but doesn't even go outside; just stands by the door half open. Too bad their burgers are decent. First time we came, owner was here and was very friendly.

When I first came in I asked to use the restroom because I was with my 7yr old and she was about to pee her pants. The guy just looked at me and was going to say no but then he processed what I had asked and he said yeah but gave me a look. I told him I was going to order but my kid needed the restroom first and he then told me where the bathroom was. When we came out I went to the register and the guy came up and just stood there. I then told him it was my first time and looked at the menu. I then asked him if there was a favorite burger and he quickly said "argentine" and just stood there again. He took my order and honestly it seemed like he was checked out or zoning out consistently. The order then took 20 mins to complete and it was To Go. I also was hearing as the lady cooking the food was just slapping the burgers on the counter as she finished them, without any care or decency. When I looked at my order I saw the fries were just in small paper boats covered with another paper boat, not something I expected for $6-7 for fries but I digress. First off, I got 3 burgers and 2 fries plus 2 Brazilian lemonades. While I was paying the screen gave me the option to enter my phone number and register to save points, well I wasn't even done registering when the cashier just processed the order and asked me to pay. I told him I was trying to register my phone and if he could get the option up again and he said no I can't. So he just said I had to pay for it and that he was sorry I couldn't get the points. This was extremely rude and felt rushed. I was the only person there ordering too and I told him it was my first time being there so I didn't appreciate the fact that he did that and didn't offer to fix the issue. Secondly, the lemonade was disgustingly bitter. It was gross and I had to throw both out. It tasted like they had blended overripe limes into the drink and they didn't even bother to see that the limes had gone bad. The burgers themselves were honestly average even with all the different flavors or toppings. I got the Nashville, Guadalajara and the Argentine burgers and they all tasted the same. Nothing special and actually tasted quite flavorless. The only difference was that the Guadalajara bun was soggy due to the juices that leaked to the bottom and it tasted mainly like cilantro. The Nashville burger tasted like bacon and that's it. Nothing special. The Argentine one had some flavor in the arugula/chimchurri sauce but aside from that again, the patty was bland. The Parmesan fries lacked flavor and the bacon/cheese fries were just sad. It felt like the just microwaved velvetta on top. Luckily the guy at the register disrupted my registration process because I will not be coming back. If you want plain burgers you're better off going to BK or McDonalds down the street.

With only one server and one cook on duty, the whole place had a vibe of "we're trying, but please don't look too closely." Service was friendly, but the overall atmosphere felt a little uncomfortable, like something was just... off. As for the food: the Pumba tacos were excellent, the Gobernator shrimp taco was also good, and then there was the "side salad." Calling it a salad feels generous.
