I've always known this place for solid burgers and shakes, but their cocktails really take the experience up a notch. The Thai Iced 'Tini was smooth and not too sweet, and the Chamoy Mango Whiskey Sour had a sweet-tangy kick. Food-wise, everything was exactly what you want. The vibe felt relaxed and casual, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal and a drink while watching the sports games on their many tv screens. Lots of parking available!

Stopped by here on Wednesday evening and it was popping. The bar was pretty busy which probably means the drinks are great. We opted just for dinner and there was plenty of seating. The service was great. Even though you have to order up front the employees are constantly coming around to check if you need anything. The falafel wrap was so good and packed with veggies. The salad was also great and very filling.

5/5 As a Whittier local, The Stand is my go-to spot for elevated bar food that never disappoints. The menu is impressively robust for a sports bar, offering everything from hearty burgers to lighter salads. The open, lively atmosphere--with low and high-top tables, a bar, and TVs galore--makes it perfect for solo meals, family outings, or catching a game. I'm a huge fan of their blue cheese burger, which rivals Red Robin's (though Red Robin's bottomless fries might give them a slight edge). Recently, I switched things up with their new teriyaki bowl during a family dinner with my wife and toddler. It was a hit! The marinated cucumbers, pickled onions, salted kale, and vibrant purple house

We're at The Stand so often I'm pretty sure they're considering charging us rent. It's so good, I probably wouldn't mind. The food? Always on point. My personal kryptonite is the ahi sandwich--perfectly seared, flavorful, and dang delicious. My wife swears by the kids burger (yes, kids burger) because she can customize the toppings and still get a side... and frankly, it's the perfect size for her. (And before you ask--no, they don't card you for ordering one.) Our visits are never complete without a couple of frosty craft beers from the bar. If you like a hazy IPA, the "Liquid Candy" is dangerously good--it's basically sunshine in a glass with a gentle IPA punch. The layout deserves a standing ovation: a spacious, covered patio that's both comfortable and breezy, plus an airy dining room that flows right into it. The bar sits in the center like a friendly neighborhood hub, serving both inside and patio patrons with equal enthusiasm. In short: Great food, great drinks, and a space that makes you want to linger just a little too long. Check it out--you might end up a regular, too.

I've been a fan of The Stand for several years, and a frequent customer at several of their locations. I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit to this location; the interior is huge with comfortable booths, they have a bar, the patio can accommodate a large number of people, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful (especially Paulie who is a standout employee who excels at superb customer service). I ordered a Stand Burger with both sweet potato waffle fries and regular fries along with a chocolate milkshake. It's one of those places where you order at the register and it's brought to your table in just a few minutes. One thing I like about The Stand is that you choose how you want your burger done (I usually go medium rare or medium) and they actually cook it correctly! Although they have numerous burger options I always gravitate toward The Stand Burger. It's their "basic" burger; the quality of beef is excellent as are the fresh toppings and bun. I love both their regular fries and sweet potato fries so got some of both, and their milkshakes are always among the very best you'll ever have. This may be my favorite of all The Stand locations.

Came here to celebrate our seniors graduating high school. The menu was not quite what I was expecting. The meals are sold a la carte so if you want fries or a drink, order them separately. The food was delicious. The Cobb salad was especially refreshing. The only issue we had was a friend of mine needed her burger remade twice. But, the wait staff were very helpful. Interior has a sports bar theme to eat. Open interior and a great place to visit if you're in town.

I highly recommend The Stand! The food is amazing and high quality. You can definitely tell that they put time and effort into making delicious food at a reasonable price. The sauces are to die for! The seasonal cocktails and drinks are always on point. Coming during a sports game makes you feel like you are part of the family! Our bartender Jennifer made us feel really well accommodated as well as our server Felipe!

The onion stack hamburger cooked to medium rare was pretty good. The meat was moist and tasty and I throughly enjoyed my burger. I had high hopes for the onion rings but that was a failure. I was expecting goodness but it wasn't all that good. The staffer said the onion rings were habit burger good but she was misinformed. It looked freshly made to order as I was waiting for my order to go. The ambiance was fresh and alive with semi outside seating and bench style seating. Plenty of TV's around the seating area for sports related news. They have bar seating with a bunch of TV's around there.

Today I was feeling adventurous and willing to try a different location. Parking was easy during a late lunch and queue to order. We used the screens to order and it was weird to be asked for tip when you placed your order and you grab your order to take to the table. Nevertheless, I ordered the ahi tuna sandwich as it sounded interesting and I wanted seafood. From the sides, the onion rings were my favorite followed by the green beans. Onion rings were big and freshly fried so very crisp. The green beans were also very crisp and tasty. The fries were just ok, not my favorite. My burger was really good with the ahi tuna slightly cooked but a little pink in the center. I would definitely get this again! The reason for the missing stars in my review is to do with the lack of cleanliness in the dining area. There were multiple dirty tables inside and outside. We had to kind of clean our table before we got our food which goes back to why ask for tip? They have 2 gender neutral restrooms and both were not great with missing paper towel and kind of dirty. I'm glad I had them again, but wouldn't dine in here.

When I first came in I asked to use the restroom because I was with my 7yr old and she was about to pee her pants. The guy just looked at me and was going to say no but then he processed what I had asked and he said yeah but gave me a look. I told him I was going to order but my kid needed the restroom first and he then told me where the bathroom was. When we came out I went to the register and the guy came up and just stood there. I then told him it was my first time and looked at the menu. I then asked him if there was a favorite burger and he quickly said "argentine" and just stood there again. He took my order and honestly it seemed like he was checked out or zoning out consistently. The order then took 20 mins to complete and it was To Go. I also was hearing as the lady cooking the food was just slapping the burgers on the counter as she finished them, without any care or decency. When I looked at my order I saw the fries were just in small paper boats covered with another paper boat, not something I expected for $6-7 for fries but I digress. First off, I got 3 burgers and 2 fries plus 2 Brazilian lemonades. While I was paying the screen gave me the option to enter my phone number and register to save points, well I wasn't even done registering when the cashier just processed the order and asked me to pay. I told him I was trying to register my phone and if he could get the option up again and he said no I can't. So he just said I had to pay for it and that he was sorry I couldn't get the points. This was extremely rude and felt rushed. I was the only person there ordering too and I told him it was my first time being there so I didn't appreciate the fact that he did that and didn't offer to fix the issue. Secondly, the lemonade was disgustingly bitter. It was gross and I had to throw both out. It tasted like they had blended overripe limes into the drink and they didn't even bother to see that the limes had gone bad. The burgers themselves were honestly average even with all the different flavors or toppings. I got the Nashville, Guadalajara and the Argentine burgers and they all tasted the same. Nothing special and actually tasted quite flavorless. The only difference was that the Guadalajara bun was soggy due to the juices that leaked to the bottom and it tasted mainly like cilantro. The Nashville burger tasted like bacon and that's it. Nothing special. The Argentine one had some flavor in the arugula/chimchurri sauce but aside from that again, the patty was bland. The Parmesan fries lacked flavor and the bacon/cheese fries were just sad. It felt like the just microwaved velvetta on top. Luckily the guy at the register disrupted my registration process because I will not be coming back. If you want plain burgers you're better off going to BK or McDonalds down the street.

I kinda had low expectations because I've always assumed smash burgers were going to be a thin burger that would not fill you up.... Boy was I wrong. I went in 30 mins before closing on Saturday and there weren't that many people so I kinda was nervous. The young Asian girl at the front was very kind and was answering all the questions I had and what kind of combinations were possible. I ended up getting a double smash burger (added some grilled onions) with bacon and jalapeños w/ crunch fries and a butterfinger milkshake (I got a big appetite lol) . The for the crunch fries you're required to pick two different dipping sauces and my gosh there were so many different options that sounded so appetizing that I didn't know which ones to pick, I ended up just getting the classic Krunch Islands (thousand islands sauce) and the garlic aioli. Picking up the burger I knew this wasn't no regular skinny patty smash burger..... this bad boy had some weight to it and it sure wasn't the toppings. The burger was immaculate, filling and overall worth the price. The only downside was the cheese not really a fan of processed cheese but that's just my opinion.... And I still ended up loving it. The Krunch fries were spot on exactly what I was thinking it would be. The butterfinger milkshake immaculate as well. Words can't describe it And the thing that I pointed out from the burger was the pickles. Those pickles are not joke they really go beyond with there house based pickles. This red carpet of service that they show at Mike's makes me only want to come here when I'm eating out! This time I went with the asada fries, and a California burger (lettuce wrapped). I can go on and on, but I highly recommend you bring the family down and enjoy for yourself! THANKS MIKE'S & CREW! Truly a wonderful experience, and I'm excited to return to try out the breakfast menu!

Recently they made a mistake with my order where I called in 3 burritos and specifically asked for 1 without sausage and bacon. I double checked the menu beforehand and made that clear when ordering. After driving 25 minutes, I found that all 3 burritos had pork in them. When I called back, the employee that took my order told me "that's not what you ordered," which felt dismissive and a bit frustrating. She told me to come back with the burrito but I was already too far to drive back. Afterwards, I spoke with the manager and he offered to replace the burrito when I was back in the area, which I appreciated.

I didn't order any cuts of meat, but they looked to be reasonably priced and quality. They had some TVs going on playing the playoff games, with some families inside enjoying their sunday afternoon. Seems like a quaint location to just have a pleasant meal. Ordered take out, and got the Prime Rib Sandwich, Small Order of Steak Fries, and Mac Salad. The Prime RIb Sandwich offered an okay amount of meat, but it was fatty and flavorful. The Mild BBQ sauce paired fairly well with the sandwich. Star of the meal is the steak fries. Well seasoned, well cooked. The mac salad is mac salad: creamy. Would come back to try some of the other meals.

Today I took my sister to introduce her to the best steak sandwich around. She started eating before me and said it was not that good. I'm looking at her like she's crazy as I put mayo and mustard on my Sammy. I take the first bite and notice this is NOT the flavor that I had before. Added a little salt and pepper thinking that will help. NOPE! Each bite was tough and loaded with gristle or inedible fat or something that I couldn't separate with my teeth. I'm pulling pieces apart and having to eat around the tough meat. I took the sandwich up to the register and asked them if they changed the cut of meat they use. They said no, it's always been either rib eye or NY. Every single one of the many I'd had before were the same. This one was different. Even looked different, as if it had been run through a machine in an attempt to tenderize it. Didn't work! You could see through some parts kind of like the way a knitted scarf would look If you stretched it out and could see the holes in it. Anyway, the guy said, "You must have got a tough cut" or "bad cut". I can't remember exactly the wording. But then he just shrugged me off. No offer to fix the problem. I was hungry, I hadn't had breakfast, and it was obvious the guy didnt care, so I just went back to my table and ate the rest of the bread and fixings while gnawing off any edible meat from my horrible steak. $26 for a sandwich and fries. Not willing to spend that much and hope I get a good cut of meat. I'm done.
