I've been a fan of The Stand for several years, and a frequent customer at several of their locations. I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit to this location; the interior is huge with comfortable booths, they have a bar, the patio can accommodate a large number of people, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful (especially Paulie who is a standout employee who excels at superb customer service). I ordered a Stand Burger with both sweet potato waffle fries and regular fries along with a chocolate milkshake. It's one of those places where you order at the register and it's brought to your table in just a few minutes. One thing I like about The Stand is that you choose how you want your burger done (I usually go medium rare or medium) and they actually cook it correctly! Although they have numerous burger options I always gravitate toward The Stand Burger. It's their "basic" burger; the quality of beef is excellent as are the fresh toppings and bun. I love both their regular fries and sweet potato fries so got some of both, and their milkshakes are always among the very best you'll ever have. I genuinely enjoy coming to The Stand. Don't see too much of a difference from when it was "Grub Burger" not too long ago, and that's probably a good thing. The burgers are incredibly well made and the ingredient options are encompassing. The ranch pairs amazingly with the fries and burgers. I always sit at the bar and enjoy the drinker-friendly drinks and the characters that show up as regulars. They play Thursday night football which is a plus!
