This place is good. A huge menu of options for American food - burgers, hot dogs, fries, sandwiches, salads, wraps, etc. Yummy shakes and baked goods too for dessert. The only negative for me is that the kids menu is pretty basic and lackluster....nothing special there. I wish there were more healthy and veggie options for the kids. The only way you'll get veggies is in their salads, but that said, their salads are huge and delicious. The MUST HAVE are their homemade chips! They are a fave of my whole family. Ambiance is casual. You order at the counter and they will bring your food out. Decent amount of seats inside and outdoor on their patio. There is a full bar and they have TVs everywhere so you can catch major sporting events and in the weekends it's a nice energetic vibe. Stopped by here on Wednesday evening and it was popping. The bar was pretty busy which probably means the drinks are great. We opted just for dinner and there was plenty of seating. I've been a fan of The Stand for several years, and a frequent customer at several of their locations. I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit to this location; the interior is huge with comfortable booths, they have a bar, the patio can accommodate a large number of people, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful (especially Paulie who is a standout employee who excels at superb customer service). I ordered a Stand Burger with both sweet potato waffle fries and regular fries along with a chocolate milkshake. It's one of those places where you order at the register and it's brought to your table in just a few minutes. One thing I like about The Stand is that you choose how you want your burger done (I usually go medium rare or medium) and they actually cook it correctly! Although they have numerous burger options I always gravitate toward The Stand Burger. It's their "basic" burger; the quality of beef is excellent as are the fresh toppings and bun. I love both their regular fries and sweet potato fries so got some of both, and their milkshakes are always among the very best you'll ever have. Came here to celebrate our seniors graduating high school. The menu was not quite what I was expecting. The meals are sold a la carte so if you want fries or a drink, order them separately. The food was delicious. The Cobb salad was especially refreshing. The only issue we had was a friend of mine needed her burger remade twice. But, the wait staff were very helpful. I genuinely enjoy coming to The Stand. Don't see too much of a difference from when it was "Grub Burger" not too long ago, and that's probably a good thing. The burgers are incredibly well made and the ingredient options are encompassing. The ranch pairs amazingly with the fries and burgers. I always sit at the bar and enjoy the drinker-friendly drinks and the characters that show up as regulars. They play Thursday night football which is a plus! I've always been a fan of The Stand, but my visit today was unfortunately very difficult to enjoy. It was 100°F outside, and the air conditioning inside was broken, making the dining room incredibly hot. While I understand that equipment failures happen, it was quite a struggle to finish a meal in those temperatures. I felt especially bad for the staff, who were working hard despite the heat, but it made for an uncomfortable environment for a sit-down lunch. I really wish there had been a sign at the door or a heads-up from the staff so we could have ordered for takeout instead. I'd love to come back because the food is usually great, but unfortunately I wont be wanting to return until the A/C is back up and running. read more
