We went out for a late dinner and wanted something quick. It was less than 1 hrs from closing and people like us kept coming in. I ordered a single Krunch. It was perfect. The melted cheese was soʻ tummy. We also ordered the Krunch fries. I gotta be honest. The fries were perfect but, they would have been perfect without the "krunch" style. If you Re a cheese lover, it's perfect. I had enough cheese on tbe burger. I mean we still gobbled them up but, next time we will just have regular fries. Plenty of seats inside. There were "ropes" outside to help control anticipated lines of guests. Although, I was there an hour before closing and only a party of 4 was inside and one other guest came after me. It was a bit cold inside, perhaps that is due to the grill being close to the dining area. Service was average. Employee did what he was supposed to but nothing more. My boyfriend tried Krunch Burger for the first time yesterday and liked it so much that he brought me back today and I'm very glad he did! Everything we tried hit the spot. The fries were super crispy, well-seasoned, and great on their own, but even BETTER dipped in their house-made sauces. I tried the dill ranch and the krunch island (basically their version of Thousand Island), and both were ridiculously delicious! I also loved that they sell their sauces by the bottle for $6 and even make and sell their own pickles by the jar for $8. The burger itself was juicy and full of flavor, and this is coming from someone who isn't usually big on cheese. Even so, I really enjoyed the crispy cheese skirt on the Krunch Burger. It added the perfect amount of crunch and flavor without being overwhelming. The space was super clean with plenty of seating, both tables and counter stools. I noticed they had shirts for sale as well and I always think it's cool when a restaurant has its own merch. Service was another highlight. The cashier was friendly and helpful, and bringing the food out to our table was a small gesture that made the experience feel extra welcoming. The food, service, and atmosphere was A1. Wow, this was easily one of the BEST burgers I have had in a long time! I checked Yelp for some good food in the area for lunch and Krunch Burger came up. The parking lot is tight, but I had no trouble finding a place to park. Inside the place there is a long counter to sit at with red barstools, or a few large tables. You can watch as they make the burgers fresh to order! I let the cashier know it was my first time and she gave me a quick rundown of the menu and what is popular. I opted for just a basic single Krunchburger with cheese and a chocolate malt. The malt is great! Not too sweet, a generous portion, and perfectly malty. My burger was served hot and fresh, with melty cheese to greet me! It has pickles, onions, mayo, and a special sauce as well. These are thin smashburger patties, so if you want more meat you should probably get a double. Everything was so delicious. The burger was rich and savory with the perfect balance of flavors, and the housemate pickles are excellent. You can buy a jar of them, so maybe I will grab one next time! It's not you, it's me. In theory, I should have loved this place but the flavors were just not meshing. We found the cheese skirt too overpowering, it took me almost finishing the burger to finally taste the meat patty. Wasn't a fan of the coleslaw in the burger- it was just too many different flavors that didn't go together. Pros: Our food was freshly made & hot. They had a variety of dipping sauces which were pretty good. The jalapeño ranch was my favorite. The place was clean. It was a great casual dining spot for families & people of all ages. For my 4 year old: the fries were too "spicy". They were heavily seasoned with a lot of pepper.He did eat most of his meat patty (no bun or coleslaw). Came here for the first time the other day and got the single burger while my boyfriend ordered the bacon burger (not pictured). If you're lactose intolerant, definitely pop a Lactaid or two before you come lol. They're generous with the cheese, and it can get a little overwhelming (in a good way). We also shared dirty fries, which were loaded with cheese too, but the pickles helped cut through it. We'd also split an Oreo milkshake that was excellent -- thick, creamy, and had real Oreo chunks in it. The person at the front was super helpful and explained all the house-made sauces since it was our first time. I tried the Jimmy sauce (similar to Cane's sauce) and my boyfriend got the dill pickle sauce -- both were excellent and paired perfectly with the food. Krunch Burger has some good smash burgers. They are located on the corner of Leffingwell and La Mirada. They do have a small parking lot. On a Monday afternoon, they were not too busy. After I placed my order, it took the grill guy 9 minutes to start cooking up on the grill and the lady to start on the milkshake. I didn't appreciate the hold up. The menu is very simple. What's not pictured is the $1.50 charge for "double cheese" if you want cheese on both patties in your double burger. I recommend getting extra sauce. I got to try the creamy jalapeño, and it was so good with the burger. I would take out the mayo next time and pay $0.25 for the extra sauce. Adding mushroom is worth it if you like mushroom. My friend got the pissed off jalapeños, which is supposed to have a blend with ghost pepper, but it was tolerable and not too much fire. Fries are good. I highly recommend the butterfinger milkshake! One cup is shareable for two people. It's a lot of calories I bet, but it was frkn delicious. You can add malt for $1. I like that they offer banana peppers on the side. It's like the ones at In N Out. Seating is high tops or tables in the back. There is a restroom in the back. If I'm in the area, I would come back again. Food is good. The buns were soft and there's a good balance in flavor. The burgers get 4 stars: We got a single Krunch and a bacon Krunch. The bacon was a little thick for my taste and was chunky and not in slices like tradition bacon. The seasoned fries were good but a bit too salty. The dips were really good though and get 5 stars. We had the Krunch island and pickled garlic aioli and took the rest home for later. We also got a Krunch soft served ice cream with chocolate and mixed nuts. The mixed nuts were actually very good and slightly sweet. Seating wise there are 4 or 5 long tables. Some with regular chairs and other tables with higher bar stool seating. They have their own sauces, which I thought was cool, I got the ranch, jalapeño I believe. When you look at it, it looks INSANE, right? We decided to try the Krunch Fries without the pickles (but then later regretted not having the pickles). The seasoning was salty and then you add On the Krunch cheese. But we still kept eating it because it was ooh soo good. There are a variety of sauces you can choose from for the fries. There's an aioli version, a thousand island type, and even one that is like Raising Kane. That one my little one liked very much. I stuck to the good 'ole basic ketchup. For drinks they have fountain soda's or tea. KremeKreme is like a Sunday Ice Cream with layered toppings. They also have shakes, which we'll try next time. As for seating, there are plenty.
