The fries were really good and the honey garlic sauce was tasty. My husband and I shared the honey garlic steak and shrimp. The dining room was clean. That's where the positivity of this review stops. The steak was rubbery and grey. The shrimp was obviously frozen before it was warmed up-- yes, warmed up. Cooked would imply seasoning and fire. It just felt like ingredients compiled together not a dish. They only offer one type of French fry. Other establishments of a similar nature (there's one I've been to in central California) have various types of fries (curly, shoe string, steak, wedge, waffle, tots)-- this is Mr. Toppings Man, at best. Also, our meal was $30- two drinks and a regular fry (I get it, it had shrimp and steak); but holy hell I could make this at home in a much larger quantity for cheaper and better. After reading the yelp page I know the owner is going to respond to this review, but I can't justify coming back. If it was the best home made fries with fresh and delicious toppings with homemade sauces?! YES! This could have been so much better. We won't be back, and we see why it's struggling.

Steak and shrimp fries with their Buffalo lemon pepper saiuce!! Delicious

I was seriously craving fries last night, and my partner brought me here for the first time--and wow, I was not disappointed! We ordered a build-your-own plate with steak and shrimp, topped with their buffalo lemon pepper sauce. I usually don't eat much, but these fries were so good I kept going back for more--they were that flavorful. My boyfriend also surprised me with their funnel cake fries, and they were just as delicious--sweet, crispy, and the perfect treat to end the meal. Overall, this spot was a great find! A little on the pricey side, but totally worth it for the quality and portion sizes.

The chili cheese fries were pretty good! The wing sauce was great but the wings were fried a bit too much, I barely got any meat from them. But overall staff was really nice, I wish veggies were free as most of the time veggie sticks come with wings free of cost at most other wing spots!

My friend put me on to this place when they were in Long Beach. Now that they moved to Whittier they're so much closer. If you've never been, I'm sure there's something on the menu that'll ease your appetite. Highly recommend you give them a try.

AMBIANCE - A brand new spot in a large plaza, located next to a Starbucks and a poke place. Inside has really cool gold and black marble floors. It's a large space but only a handful of seating. It's a strange layout to be honest and feels empty. FOOD - I ordered the BBQ Bacon Ranch Chicken Fries and the 5 piece Lemon Cajun wings. For only both of these, around $31. Price is definitely higher than expected. The wings were very tasty and full of flavor BUT they were soft wings with no crisp. I prefer very crispy wings so I don't know if I'd get them again. Maybe I'll ask for well done next time. The fries themselves were long, a little starchy, but crispy and delicious. The combination of the bacon and bbq were all really good. I'd go back for the fries. SERVICE - Unfortunately service is very mediocre here. The young girl in the front was awkward and it just felt like a "cold" environment.

Glad this restaurant is finally open! This is such an amazing place . Went to the grand opening this weekend.Staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp and steak along with the wings and they all were well seasoned and tasted delicious. I went back today to try more wings and the Fry Box . Everything was prepared nicely . This will be my go to spot!

Restaurant is closed. Says it's open but don't believe. Owner said consumer should call first. Very rude owner. Don't go even if tries to open up again.

Chili cheese fries and chicken bacon parmesan fries with grilled chicken

I went for the Bogo Tuesday to try it. We got chili cheese fries and chicken bacon parmesan. Hubby has had the honey garlic before and loved it, so we wanted to try the other options they had as well. The portion was a good size for me. Hubby was full too. Inside was clean and staff were really friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Everything is very clean and well attended.

The menu is extensive, I have tried most of their items and they are all delicious! Customer service is very polite and helpful. This place is amazing, y'all gotta try it!!

First of, this place is bomb af. Wings are awesome. I ordered a few different flavors -- buffalo, honey garlic, and lemon pepper -- and they were all really good. The wings were crispy, juicy, and had a lot of sauce. The buffalo had a nice kick, the honey garlic was sweet and tasty, and the lemon pepper was super flavorful. Everything came out hot and fresh. Service was great and I'll definitely order again and try more flavors next time!

Very satisfied with their Regular size serving. They have 2 sizes Regular and Jr. I ordered off the Build Your Own with Chicken and Shrimp, Lemon Garlic sauce. I'm guessing the shrimp is medium size and was perfectly cooked along with their crispy fries. The chicken was good however I was expecting chicken pieces. Their server Ashley was fantastic and I will be back to try something different. The Regular size was $20, they have a Jr size that looks to be about half as much but the Jr size is only about 10 to 15% less making it a little pricey to bring kids unless you share.

As a self-proclaimed wing connoisseur, I was hit with a serious craving one lazy afternoon and knew I had to treat myself :) I randomly came across this spot while shopping in the area and became curious to try it ! I ordered 20 wings in a mix of flavors: Buffalo, Honey Garlic, Honey Hot, Lemon Garlic Parmesan, Yum Yum, paired with ranch dipping sauce. Each wing was super juicy and drenched in a super saucy coating that clung to every bite, bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious! They were so perfectly sauced, I joked they must have taken a dip in a flavor jacuzzi before landing on my plate hehe! Yum! I have to say, my new favorites were the Honey Hot and Honey Garlic wings. I've never tasted wings quite like these before. They were soooo goood, with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy that had me grinning like a kid in a candy store. To top it all off, I added steak to the order. The steak was tender, well-seasoned, and provided a fantastic, savory contrast to the wings, rounding out the meal beautifully. The customer service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. This spot has officially become my go-to for wing cravings. Whether you're a serious wing lover or just in the mood for something delicious (and a little extra fun), I highly recommend giving it a try :) !

Great food! Staff was wonderful. Definitely worth it…read more Burria was fantastic. Not tons of seats, but good enough.

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.

The sambal chili aioli was a sleeper - it packed in a ton of unexpected spice. Deliciously unexpected. The thick toasted brioche bun also added a layer of sweetness. We ordered the turkey BLT because it was a special. It was, of course, delish, but I should have kept to the tried and trues. I'll definitely be back. Also PSA and order your sandwiches for pickup. Keep in mind I ordered around 12:50pm and the sandwich was ready at 1:45pm. I ordered the Spicy Gabagool Sandwich, and there were barely any mixed greens as compared to other reviews & the menu photo (I love my veggies)! The meats were yummy, but they did not stand out to me/didn't taste anything special. Unfortunately, the same goes for the bread. However, I did like the packaging of the sandwich and everything in the sandwich tasted well together; the chile spread, burrata, hot honey, pickled onions, meats.. the spice level is definitely tolerable; I didn't need water at all. It was more of a small kick. I also tried their lemon crumb bar and it was very delicious! If anything I would come again to try more of their unique baked goods. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance of the shop. It is quite small and there are many people waiting for their order inside. There is only outdoor seating, which is scarce.

This review is not about the Jimmy Johns chain (although a huge fan!). This review is about the Jimmy Johns on Washington Blvd and specifically the #7 Spicy East Coast Italian. I've eaten a lot of sandwiches, and no matter the shop if there's an Italian one on the menu I can't help but give it a try. I had a #7 from Jimmy Johns a few years back and remember liking it. So about 6 mos ago I found myself in Sante Fe Springs for work. Hungry and with some time to kill I ordered the #7. I needed to do some work on my forklift and figured I had a few minutes but great day in the morning the jimmy johns truck came ripping up in 6 min flat. Driver was friendly, I couldn't believe the speed it arrived and so I started to tear into the paper of my Spuckie. The great thing about the #7 is the hot peppers. Every good Italian sandwich has the perfect amount of spicy hot peppers. And this JJ absolutely kills it. As you take your first bite you immediately taste the cold freshness of the salami and capicola (doubled on the #7), the perfect amount of lettuce and for a second you think you're in downtown Boston getting ready to walk into Fenway. The heat from the peppers starts to hit and just when it could get a little too spicy, the perfect amount of mayonnaise mellows it out. The gutted bread make for the perfect meat to bread ratio and the fresh juicy tomato finishes the sandwich out. I was impressed. I loved it in fact. I couldn't believe how good it was and thought it would never be replicated. But the following week there I was. So I ordered it again, this time two in fact for a friend. 6 min. BOOM. There's the driver with two sandwiches. I'm thinking there's no way it's going to be as good as last time. It's not possible. THE EXACT COMBINATION OF PERFECTNESS HAPPENS AGAIN. My friend can't believe. I'm in shock. Convinced that this sub maker on Washington Blvd was born in Milan, raised in downtown Boston under the tutelage of the cities greatest Spuckie makers of all time I start to make it a tradition. Weekly. Never once have I been let down. I've even tried to alter it (adding more hot peppers) HOW DARE I. This sandwich is perfect. The guy back there slicing the capicola with laser focus, squirting on mayo in the perfect amounts, placing each Peper in the perfect spot and ensuring the right balance of sweet and hot is a genius. Don't mess with work of art. Order the #7 and enjoy. God Bless America.
