The all American with cooper sharp is the best Philly I've had in southern California. Enough said.

I've been wanting to try Chopped Cheese, and was happy to see that Monty's Norwalk opened up. I saw them on DoorDash, so I ordered the Legendary Chopped Cheese and Monty's #1 Chicken & Waffles, which comes with two crispy fried chicken on a Belgian waffle. The packaging for my order was nicely wrapped and delivered so no complaints there. I absolutely loved the Legendary Chopped Cheese, which has chopped angus beef patty, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled jalapeños, American cheese, ketchup and mayo on a hoagie roll. I am now a believer of Chopped Cheese! The chicken & waffles was okay. Next time, I want to try their cheesesteaks and breakfast burritos!

I had stumbled upon this place on IG awhile back and have been meaning to try it out. Today my husband and I finally got the chance to go and we loved it! Upon entering, we had a friendly greeting by the owner Henry and the establishment itself was clean. Henry took the time to explain all their popular picks. With so many good choices, it was hard to decide but this time I was really craving a steak breakfast burrito while my husband got the All-American cheesesteak. Not only were both quite delicious but the portions for the price point were definitely worth it. We will certainly be back to try all the other great options on their menu!

I always check yelp before deciding on lunch, because you never know what new spot is going to pop up! I'm so glad I did this week! Monty's Norwalk just opened in the last couple of months (though they do have another location in Alhambra that's been open much longer) and has been treating people to their favorite sandwiches (chicken/waffles combo) ever since! It's a small, quiet place, so not much seating when it gets busy, but there is some nice areas outside including around a fountain across the parking lot! The staff and owner are extremely helpful and friendly. They want to do whatever they can to make sure you have a good experience. We tried a number of items including Monty #1 (chicken and waffles), Granada, Pablano cheesesteak, the chopped cheese, and fries (both waffle and sweet potato). Everything was really good! The chicken and waffles were as good as you're going to get anywhere! The chopped cheese is basically a deconstructed cheeseburger. The Granada was a great balanced sandwich and the Pablano is an elevated cheesesteak experience. The best part of the experience is all the food is reasonably priced! You can't go wrong with any of the food! If we were forced to choose go with the Granada sandwich and grab some chicken and waffles! The service was great and we'll be back for the people alone!

The food is first off delicious. There really wasn't anything wrong with any of the sandwiches or the fried chicken. Definitely a spot to hone in on in Norwalk. The owner was very helpful in discerning the menu. Even offered customers some coffee while waiting on sandwiches. It's a small shop but it's cozy. Definitely a chill vibe. Will definitely return. This place is a can't miss.

Seen this restaurant featured on my social media. Wanted to try it out because everything looked so good... and it was! Ordered the chopped cheese, cheese steak, and the steak breakfast burrito. Service a fast. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Prices were fair. Food tasted great and ingredients were fresh. Will definitely come back.

Wow, what a breakfast burrito! Tons of bacon, waffle fries, and cheese! I split this with my boyfriend and we were both super full after one half burrito each. The staff member we spoke with that incredibly kind and friendly! I would definitely recommend stopping by this spot.

If you're looking for a flavorful sandwich in the neighborhood, Monty's is it! The food doesn't look pretty but the taste is what counts! Plenty of parking, but not a lot of seating.

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review G-Moe's Cheesesteak: 6/10 The portion for the price I think is very very reasonable, but I do think the meat was overwhelmingly salty. And then the cheese on top of it made it more salty. I could taste the mushrooms, but there wasn't a lot. Couldn't tell if there was roasted garlic in there or not. The pickles definitely helped cut the saltiness, but I wish I had more. The pickle bar is complimentary, but they just give you one of each that you choose. It's not up for grabs. So idk if I would necessarily call it a bar haha. Garlic Fries: 6/10 They were crispy. Lots of garlic on top. Nothin much else to it. $10 for that kinda crazy tho. I coulda got a whole ass nother sandwich w that lmao. Garlic and Jalapeño Aioli: 5/10 I'm putting them together because there's not a lot to comment. They both taste very similar to the point if you told me one was the other, I would not tell the difference. Neither the garlic or jalapeño flavor was apparent or in your face. Got it on the house, but on the menu it's $2.... Hoping that means $2 for all of them because $2 each is insane. Service: 6/10 They just opened and are still figuring out a lot of the kinks. The soda machine was not set up yet, but there were drinks available in their fridge for purchase. So I'd say they're more in the soft opening phase. Waited behind the counter for a hot minute for some more pickles. They were in the back and no one noticed me so I just sat back down lol. Pretty sure the owner saw me but shrugged it off. Also note that the owner gave a customer free drinks after she said she found Monty's on Yelp, but gave no other customers free drinks. I get it, but idk it rubbed me kind of the wrong way lol. He gave a couple people free sauces, but not everyone. Consistency yk? He was pretty nice though. Doin the regular business small talk. Ambiance: 8/10 The place is small, but it's pretty cute. No restrooms and there's limited seating, but the theme of the place is on point. It's decently clean. The menu is huge on the inside and there's a menu visible on the outside as well which I think is great. The food took about 15-20mins to come out. It's in a huge plaza so plenty of parking. Can see myself with a group of friends in the parking lot eating here on a late night. TDLR: Wouldn't go out of my way to get it, but portions are great. Super reasonably priced besides the sauces. Can't really tell the difference between the garlic or jalapeño aioli. G-moe's Cheesesteak is salty af. When I went, the soda machine is not available, so bring water or prepare to buy drinks. It's a small joint so there may not be seating if it gets busy. Easy parking.

Listen. I'm a sandwich lover so I'm already biased. This place was absolutely delicious though!!! Hit. The. Spot. We ordered for a large group and service was fast and efficient, we even had some customizations to the orders and they got it all correct. Price is reasonable for the portions too! We got there and the place was pretty chill, I can see it getting busy with longer wait times though. Out of all the subs we got the ones that stood out were the chicken poblano and the turkey hoagie and godfather. I myself had the poblano and wish I had gotten the hoagie too! These were big sandwiches though!!! They gave us hot sauce also it went well but I wish I had gotten like a heavier hot sauce that wasn't too vinegar based. Either way it added that extra spice I needed. Going to make this spot a usual for us when we are in the area!

Found this place after seeing a few tik toks raving about their "chopped cheese"sandwiches and just had to try it. Being vegetarian, I was pleased to see they have something for us non meat eaters..the vegetarian mushroom melt. (roasted mushrooms, grilled onions, arugula, provolone cheese, and garlic aioli on sourdough). The sandwich was simple yet so flavorful and DELICIOUS, my only complaint would be for the bread to be toasted a bit longer because one side got soggy quick but it was tasty nonetheless. I also tried their waffle fries, they were cooked and seasoned to perfection! There is an ample amount of seating inside if you choose to dine in. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!

I was craving a good sandwich and Month's does NOT disappoint. I learned that this was the second location, which is always great news if the owner is able t expand. I ordered a Philly Cheese and the meat was so juice and piping hot. My boyfriend ordered a chicken philly and we both destroyed our sandwiches. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries which is very generous. The shop isn't fancy, but it was clean and not crowded. Getting there can be kinda tricky as we drove right by the shop once we entered (be sure to keep and eye out). I was also excited because it's in the same plaza as Milagro Cinemas, which is a latine-owned movie theater so sounds like a great date night to me!

Do not be fooled by my photo LOL. It is indeed NOT FAT. They're very light on the sauces. The dutch bread is fireee asf and honestly the saving grace of this sandwich. Service: 5/10 The staff were pretty timid, but they were nice. They took LONG ASF to make three little sandwiches. Bro, 30+ minutes?? For some sandwiches??? This is coming from someone who's worked food service. They weren't even busy fam. They had like 2-3 dine-in customers that already had their sandwiches and like 2 online orders. Also, some of the tables were dirty. Had to clean ours with a napkin. Ambiance: 6/10 The interior design was pretty nice. It did feel quite empty inside. The arrangement of the tables is pretty sporadic. They could definitely convert the tables into booths with all the space they got, but it seems like they don't get a lot of foot traffic. Parking lot was quite small, but my friends and I had no issues finding a spot. TDLR: Sandwiches aren't worth the price. If you don't care about prices, have at it. I wouldn't come back here purely because our sandwiches took 30+ minutes to come out as dine-in customers. Parking lot is small but found no problem finding a spot.

The sambal chili aioli was a sleeper - it packed in a ton of unexpected spice. Deliciously unexpected. The thick toasted brioche bun also added a layer of sweetness. We ordered the turkey BLT because it was a special. It was, of course, delish, but I should have kept to the tried and trues. I'll definitely be back. Also PSA and order your sandwiches for pickup. The meats were yummy, but they did not stand out to me/didn't taste anything special. Unfortunately, the same goes for the bread. However, I did like the packaging of the sandwich and everything in the sandwich tasted well together; the chile spread, burrata, hot honey, pickled onions, meats.. the spice level is definitely tolerable; I didn't need water at all.
