    Filet and baked potato.
    Rob W.

Got together with some friends and and started off in the bar. The bar area is a bit tight and narrow, but there are plenty of seats. Made our way to the dining room near the old fire pit in the center of the floor. Most of us ordered the prefix filet meal. One defector ordered the salmon. The filet was a generous 10oz cut and this comes with their cheese bread, onion rings, baked potato, salad, and dessert (choice of key lime pie or the chocolate mousse cake). I ordered my rare and it came out perfect between rare and medium rare. The salad was delicious and u get three choices of dressing (blue cheese, thousand island and Russian). The baked potato was huge, took half home along with half my steak. The key lime pie pie was ok, (I prefer watergrill's key lime pie) I did try the chocolate mousse cake and should have chosen that one. The onion rings were lightly battered and tasty. Service moved a bit slow, as the place was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. One minor disappointment that we had was bringing in three bottles of wine and told the corkage fee was $15.95 per bottle. We received the bill and our server charged us $19.95 a bottle. She said she made a mistake. Hmmm. Other than that, everything was good.

My friends and I came here for lunch. We ordered from their Dine LA menu. I had the corn soup as starter. For the main entree, I had petit filet mignon with baked potato. For dessert, I had the key lime pie tart. Cheese breads come with the meal. It was delicious. They are very generous with the bread. They would refill the bread basket as often as you'd like. The baked potato is huge. It is served with butter, sour cream, chives and cheese sauce on the side. You can add as much as you like to suit your taste. The petit filet mignon is small, only 5-oz, but it was very tasty. I asked for medium and it was cooked just right. The key lime pie tart and the chocolate mousse cake were both good. I had a taste of both. Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit. It is rather dark inside. It gives an old fashion 50's vibe. It would be a good place for a romantic evening. Overall, I enjoyed dining here. Everything I had was delicious.

First impressions- lots of ambience, but definitely a place that locals know and frequent. Darker dining and bar areas, with lighting that adds to the experience. Service is with waitstaff all with ties and suits, friendly and knowledgeable about their menu options. The food is very old school-flavorful and plentiful. If you are watching diet, portions or other restrictions, give it up. Fantastic way to enjoy a meal

Never felt so full in my life! Definitely in my top favorite comfort meals. They had this delicious homemade blue cheese dressing (I hate blue cheese) The cheese bread is to die for. I can eat a whole plate of the flaky crab cakes. The baked potato is huge. The steak was a little overcooked but still delicious and don't get me started on the lobster. So flavorful! Ambiance is very romantic and perfect for date night. The service was amazing and attentive. Tysm! I will come back again.

Saturday dinner plans brought my brother and I to Clearman's Steak N Stein. We grew up going to the La Mirada location which shared a similar ambiance. The Pico location was lively with live music and a long waiting list. Luckily seating at the bar opened up and the service was exceptional. Food and drinks were delicious.

Always consistent and delicious an old favorite must eat there a few times a year. Salad and cheese bread are always my favorites and the jumbo shrimp cocktail is always fresh and tasty. I hav always loved the log cabin since I was a lil tot ! And always great service! A well oiled machine!

I grew up in Pico and this was my first experience at Clearmans. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. I went with my family for my birthday and ordered the steak and lobster. The cheesy bread they bring out is very good. The salad could have a little more like cherry tomatoes or cucumbers it was basically just lettuce and croutons. I like that they bring different salad dressings to the table. The steak and lobster were cooked perfectly and the onion rings were light. The place looks old school. It's like you stepped back into the 60s. The waiter was on point and very friendly.

Fantastic food and attentive service, with a great overall atmosphere. The prime rib portion is generous--perfect for sharing between two. An excellent choice for a date night, and we definitely be returning.

My family comes here all the time but my best friend and I were finally able to try it for ourselves! huge thanks to Jessica and Morgan for making our time memorable!

First time at this location - I normally go to the San Gabriel location. I was pleasantly surprised to see such an ample waiting area and a very pretty, lit-up water fountain in the middle of the restaurant. Their parking lot is pretty big - it was a busy Friday night and had no trouble finding parking. We ordered the bone-in ribeye steak - it was super juicy and perfectly seasoned! If you've been to the San Gabriel location this location is different in that there's no shelled peanuts (they serve them pre-shelled) and you have to ask for them - they don't automatically give them to you. Also, they only serve one portion of salad on a plate - unlike the SG location where they serve the salad family style in a huge salad bowl. Our server was Matt, and he was extremely attentive and polite. I can't say the same thing about the young lady host at the front- she wasn't very helpful or friendly of accommodating - for that I had to knock down one star. I feel like steakhouses are one of those places where you expect to get at least polite, if not excellent service. The service from the hostess was sub-par.

Always is a fan favorite. Stuffed to the Gills. Delicious food every time. Give me cabbage salad, cheese bread, and a delicious steak. And I'm a happy girl! This place is so dark. I needed my phone to see the menu. Besides, that be prepared with a really good jacket or sweater to keep you warm. this place is like an icebox. Five stars.

So this is my daughters favorite place. Since we were celebrating her, the family took her to dinner. We all had some kind of steak. The baby had chicken and fries. As usual everything was delicious. Best steaks around. Been coming here on and off for 20 yrs. Service was great and so was the ambiance. They had live music too.
