Great sports bar to hang out at. What was so surprising was how good the food was. We had the BBQ Brisket Sandwich and Chicken Ceasar Wrap. The queso fries were awesome. Good food. Good drinks. Lots of TVs. Pool Tables. You, it's a hidden gem!

This place the potential to rated higher, however the service was extremely slow. It took 45min to get our drinks. Then another 45 to get our food. This may not always be the case, but it was for me. This place is very spacious so you never feel too cramped. Clean environment with comfortable booths, make a reservation to ensure you have a good view of the game or your favorite event. I'll come back another time to give it another chance.

Stopped by here on a Wednesday night and it was pretty busy. After having a few drinks and some food, I could see why. We sat at the bar and the service was top notch. The bartender was very attentive and nice. She recommended the gochujang wings which were delicious. The place was pretty chill and relaxing.

Chandler is an absolute badass behind the bar at Parlor. She's hilarious, insanely knowledgeable, and somehow the sweetest human while also not taking anyone's BS. Exactly who you want making your drinks. Her green tea shots are my favorite (I know, simple but still hers are my favorite), but she also does themed night shots and cocktails that are actually creative and well thought out, not just gimmicky. You can tell she really understands flavors and balance, and it shows in everything she makes. On top of that, she runs the bar like a pro. Great energy, great service, and the vibe is always right when she's working. If Chandler's behind the bar, you're guaranteed a good night and a great drink.

Tried the corn ribs at Parlor Bar and omg! Perfectly roasted with that crispy outside and juicy bite, then topped with just the right amount of seasoning, cheese, and a little kick from the jalapeno peppers. Every bite had so much flavor--smoky, savory, and slightly spicy in the best! Definitely a must try!

A trendy sports bar and restaurant for sports watching. They charged $20 for pay-per-view fights on a Saturday late afternoon. We went in before that so we didn't have to pay cover charge. They had good selections of tap beer and premium liquor. We enjoyed our hazy IPA and grey goose martini. The food was mostly comfort bar food, bartenders were very friendly and attentive. The door man was very surprised that we left before a big fight that people were paying and waiting to watch! I am not a big fan of fights cause it's too loud for me. I only watch tennis especially masters and slams. Still a great neighborhood sports bar that we will visit sometime!

I had dinner reservations in Uptown Whittier, and this was on my way. My husband and I stopped in to check it out and have a quick drink. We were regulars way back when at the Slam Dunk. It has been given a nice face lift. Don't expect Slam Dunk prices. This is a bit classier. Happy hour includes $2 off drinks Monday-friday till 7pm. The decor is very Whittier / Dodgers focused. I loved the decor. The best part of our quick visit was Sharene. She was an amazing bartender. She was super friendly and we will definitely come back to see her. This is a hidden gem! I was a little weary, can't lie because it was so quiet. But then again it was a Saturday @ 2pm. Let me just say , WOW! Hot dammm we found a little spot that has some amazing food! Let me tell you we ordered a lot! : Why not Pretzel , shrimp tacos, taipei bites, lord of wings, two parlor burgers. All these dishes were sooooo amazing ! What made it even better was finding out this was a one man show , because the servant doesn't show up till later. Luis was not only serving us our food drinks, but he is the chef! His recipe for the wings are sooooo amazing dam good. I came from Orange and I will be coming back. Located on Whittier blvd across Amazon go, this bar is definitely a hidden gem. The ambiance is like any other sports bar and has a ton of tvs. My husband and I came in to watch the knicks playoff game, and our bartender (Lindsay) is the sweetest! The bartender Lindsey was super friendly and even let me know about today's special for Taco Tuesday! Music was on point, the atmosphere was chill. Of course, Whittier residents remember this bar as Slam Dunk, an OG pinnacle of East Whittier, where you could count on a divey atmosphere, chill staff, and your neighbors coming in for a drink after a long day. In this respect, not much has changed! I commend the Parlor Bar for the upgrades they have made. The inside is clean, the food is incredible, bartenders are skilled, the restrooms are clean, and they even have a private space in the back where you can rent out for parties. $1500 will get you appetizers and bar service for the night. Bring your own DJ! I had the K-Pop tacos, Corn Porn, and the Foreign Cinema. I could eat the K-Pop tacos all day, everyday So good. My group and I ended our night with a game of Pool. Shout out to the bartender (AKA the shot king) for making us some panty droppers. So bomb! Cant wait to go back. read more

I checked in with him with my service dog and immediately said, we are at capacity and don't allow dogs. I let him know I have a seat waiting for me at a table, said my dog is a service dog, and simply said, "I'm sorry we're at capacity and dont allow dogs." I understand the capacity thing. So I went outside and called my friend who was inside to tell him I couldn't come in because the bar was at capacity. My guy friend came out and gave me a hug. My friend then talked to the door guy and said that door guy said, "He said he'll let you in but not your dog." I confirmed with him, "So you lied about being at capacity and are denying my service dog? Because you just told my friend you'd let me in." He tried to explained that the bar is busy and that that is how the owner runs it. I asked to speak to a manager. A manager comes out, or claims to be, saying she owned the bar, and never introduced her name. She was wearing 49ers jersey, blonde hair. I explained the situation to her and said, "you can't turn away service dogs, that's a violation. Do you understand that?" She then proceeded to explain to me that because the bar is busy and people are spilling drinks SHE does not feel comfortable having a dog in her bar. I again said, he is here for me, he is a certified service dog, and sits under the table, as my dog is just standing there. I asked, "Wouldn't that be MY call if I was comfortable if my service dog and I were in here or not?" She responded, "No, it is my bar so it's my call." She proceeded to say, "Look you can come here on a Monday with him and youll be fine. I love dogs more than I like humans, my sister has a service dog, etc. Etc." None of her banter ok's the fact that she outrightly denied entry of a patron with service dog and initially claiming to ve of capacity but lied about that as well. Horrible door experience and unfortunately I will have to report this to the DOJ as an ADA violation. This review is to document the occurrence and advise those planning to bring service dogs to be aware they will make excuses to not let you and your working animal in. For the owner, hi, just FYI businesses must allow service animals unless they pose a direct threat (in which mine did not). You violated both federal ADA and CA laws.
