Just came with my friend after the gym and got the Bacon Cheeseburger combo while my friend got 1/4 lbs. burger combo. It was so good and we got serviced right away. They were super attentive and the place reminds me of someplace ive been to when I was a kid. My friend said she loved her burger and the workers gave us everything we needed like ranch, ketchup, chilis and napkins. Definitely will be coming back for their 2 burger Monday deal they have going on right now. This is for sure going to be my favorite burger spot from now on! read more

Looking for a new spot here in the area and I decided to check this out. Just used drive-thru, I had to wait couple seconds to be acknowledged. They charge 3.5% for credit card use. I ordered pastrami burger combo. Their fries is crispy and has great flavor but it is too salty for me. I wasn't able to finish the fries. Pastrami burger is greasy and messy. It makes the bun wet and almost soggy. Pastra is salty too. I found a strand of either hair or something. This is something you can't eat in your car or anywhere where you can't wash your hands after. Overall, it's not a recommendation for me. read more

This is a local hamburger spot I avoid, and for no reason.. Finally decided to try it out!! Ordered a pancake breakfast and I usually have to ask (any breakfast place) if eggs can be boxed separately. (My son is allergic) As I get home, Eggs weren't separated. Total bummer!! To make things worse we ordered a cheeseburger and received a hamburger.... Called to let them know, Spanish speaking dude could care less.. Food is nothing amazing. 8/28/21 7:15pm I just got the most amazing Double Bacon Cheeseburger! Perfectly cooked, perfectly dressed, he even complied with my dietary restriction. Served on a toasted bun just hefty enough to hold it all together, right up to the very end--I hate it when the bun gets all mushy and falls apart. The fries were great, the drink was fine. But the burger was hands-down the star of the show! The drive thru worked great. No confusion on my order, as the guy read it back to me as he handed me the bag. Top notch! Jims Burgers makes good food. My favorite item from the menu to choose from is their burritos. My boyfriend gets a cheeseburger and fries and I highly recommend the burritos and fries. The portions are huge but that is not what draws me back. It's the flavor of the red sauce they put on their burritos, the way they finely minced meat, the creama, fresh avocado, and presentation. The fries are seasoned with a special seasoning and remind me of steak fries. I've lived locally to this Jim's Burgers on Imperial Hwy in La Mirada, but I've only started coming here regularly about 3 months ago. The crew that I have dealt with during lunch/afternoon timeframe have always been very nice and pleasant (both the man and the woman who take the orders). The burgers are very good. One of the underrated burger joints of all time. I have been coming to Jim's burgers for over 25 years and they have never failed to disappoint. From their oily fries with a perfect amount of salt to their juicy hamburgers with a grilled taste that's to die for. I honestly think that Jim's pioneered the way for all these new burger joints that have sprouted up everywhere and I stand by a 4 star rating for this location. I would give it 5 but they need to bring more deceptive and modernness to the Place. Parking is good, easy to find and everything on the menu is great. They make a killer pastrami sandwich and an order of onion rings is a lunch bag full of deliciousness (large servings). My favorite item is the breakfast burrito. New ownership and the staff at the counter was pretty friendly. Much better than my first experience a few years back when there was a lady behind the counter trying to charge you for every topping or condiment. It was pretty bad that I had actually forgot that I had been there, now I remember why. I went with a breakfast burrito since those are my go-tos whenever I don't know what I want... and I pretty much judge a burger joint on how well they can pull these off. Big plus, they serve breakfast at all times of the day, so you can can have your good morning meal at dinner if you choose. They also just put in a drive through, so if you're too lazy to get out, you now have that opportunity as well. The decor isn't anything amazing, but it's a burger joint. I wouldn't expect anything over the top, but the place was pretty clean. My breakfast burrito was big, but nothing special. I was sort of disappointed that the egg was a little overcooked for my liking. I specified sausage and got bacon and sausage. That's not a horrible mistake, but the bacon was pretty overcooked as well. The combo of overcooked ingredients made the burrito pretty dry at the beginning. I couldn't for the life of me find the cheese in the burrito until I reached the second half. I guess I might have just started eating from the wrong side, but I would have been pretty disappointed if this was the way I was ending things. Once the cheese came into the picture, it was pretty much a game changer. It was nice and gooey and I'm sad that it wasn't dispersed evenly throughout my burrito. The burrito was under $6 and it definitely stays with you. I had a hard time finishing it, but I didn't want to waste any of it. This is a good place as a backup alternative or that place to get something if you don't feel like driving. I might be back to try some of the other options. Be warned, they charge you $1 to pay with card if your total is under $10. read more
