Despite how busy it was, the food came out hot & fresh in a reasonable time. Bella brought my food out and asked if I needed anything else, which she quickly brought out again. My party appreciated her customer service as she also periodically checked on our table to see if we needed anything more or if she can take any dishes off our table. We have a stand over in Chino Hills where I reside. But this stand is a little different in Whittier. It has a fully stocked bar right in the middle of the restaurant. Not only is the food delicious, it's restaurant quality. They have very generous portions . It's a great environment for families, for singles as well as baseball teams as that is where we went after my son's game. They were very attentive and even though it's not a full restaurant, the team made sure to stop by frequently to see if there was anything else we needed. I would have given more stars but unfortunately our fries and our onion straws on our burgers were extremely stale. The onion rings however were crispy, and delicious! Burger was also overcooked but not the end of the world. The shakes were great! I would definitely get that again. Service was quick, and friendly. I've been a fan of The Stand for several years, and a frequent customer at several of their locations. I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit to this location; the interior is huge with comfortable booths, they have a bar, the patio can accommodate a large number of people, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful (especially Paulie who is a standout employee who excels at superb customer service). I ordered a Stand Burger with both sweet potato waffle fries and regular fries along with a chocolate milkshake. It's one of those places where you order at the register and it's brought to your table in just a few minutes. One thing I like about The Stand is that you choose how you want your burger done (I usually go medium rare or medium) and they actually cook it correctly! Although they have numerous burger options I always gravitate toward The Stand Burger. It's their "basic" burger; the quality of beef is excellent as are the fresh toppings and bun. I love both their regular fries and sweet potato fries so got some of both, and their milkshakes are always among the very best you'll ever have.
