Came with my partner on a Sunday afternoon after running abit of errands. She got a strawberry mimosa and I got the horchata matcha martini ( iced ) which was an excellent drink. Then for the food part I order the rib enchiladas which was 8.5/10 the salsa it was in was abit sour but nothing couldn't handle which was great. Service was great! As well the place did get new owners which was inform but stayed the same just added their own little touch which was great!

A "Toast" for delicious food and great service. This was my first time at Toast and it won't be my last. There is plenty of parking and the waiting area has plenty of seating. The ambiance is welcoming and unique. You can feel the good vibes as soon as you walk in and greeted by the host. Our wait time was about 15 minutes. Not long at all for a weekend. We ordered the bottle of champagne for mimosas. I went with the pineapple juice. The food is top notch. I went with eggs Benedict. Cooked to perfection and full-on flavor. I recommend this. Service was also top notch. Our server was friendly and attentive. She made some great suggestions and happily answered pur questions. They have several options and something for everyone. I'm definitely going back to tey other dishes. It's also family friendly. Love it!

Toast is a fantastic place to visit. Essentially anything you order will be tasty. The Chile Quilles is their specialty, and can be customized with red or green sauce. It is excellent, and I prefer the green. For an extra 20 you can add ribeye, otherwise it is a vegetarian option. My second favorite is the Denver omelet, which is a decent size and comes with fruit. Staff is very friendly and upbeat. Ambience is upbeat as well, and this is a nice clean establishment. In this particular visit I came with a party of 12 and they were able to reserve tables and serve us at our own pace. This is an excellent spot for celebrations. They have a bar where you can grab a few mimosas while you wait for a table. Drink prices are typical and they offer mimosa flights if you want to try different things. PRO TIP: Try the margaritas. You won't be disappointed.

First off, this place gets busy on the weekends for brunch! So, a reservation is a must. This is my 2nd time here. The service and foods were great per usual. The ambiance is nice. A bit loud but not too bad because we're all chatting away catching up with good friends.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Friendly staff, upon arrival. We were an hour ahead of our reservation and they were able to seat us within 25 minutes. Cameron was so sweet and attentive. I'm a classic breakfast type of gal, so that's what I got. The potatoes were the best. Perfectly cooked to a crisp. The bacon was perfectly crisp too. Eggs were ok. I'll used to pasture raised, but I know eggs are a hot commodity these days. The sourdough toast is good too. We shared the churro French toast which were delicious. We were celebrating a couple of birthdays so Cameron brought us a slice of carrot cake and a slice of chocolate cake. They were both good, but the carrot cake was slightly more moist. Overall, great, and I'd definitely come back again.

We went here on a Saturday. It wasn't super packed, lots of open tables but service was bad. Our server was actually rude. We ended up getting our own utensils. Refills on water were never provided (we had a hard time requesting as she was hardly available). We had to ask other servers for extra sauce. Heck, even when a friend paused to tell our server that she enjoyed her meal, the server left without even waiting to hear her out. The only time we saw half a smile was when she came for bill payment. This was honestly one of the worst service I have ever had. The food was okay. My chips got too soggy, too quick. I was honestly disappointed in so many ways.

    Organic ketchup!

Yes!!!!!! ORGANIC ketchup...at a place like this.? VERY impressive! Ambiance: How can you overlook the late 80s pop music? The Himalayan pink sea salt added a nice touch to the table. Matches very well with the gaudy teal, pink and olive green decor. Food: The French toast was thick and hearty. The Nutella toast was generously spread and not skimpy at all. The kids meal was most certainly sufficient for an adult meal! Look at the color of the egg yolk! Seems like pasture raised, to me. The burger patty was quite thin (think McDonalds), but that was my only complaint.

Amazing ! I definitely recommend this brunch spot ! Bartender working was amazing. He was helpful with the drink menu. He helped me figure out something I would love. I ended up getting the match horchata martini. SOOO GOOODD. I loved it been craving it ever since. The chilaquiles were amazing as well as the potatoes. Everything was great. The vibes in there were amazing as well. Super calm not too crazy. A lot of families come in. 10/10 recommend

We used to go to Toast when it was on First Street, so walking into this new Whittier location felt like leveling up. The space is beautiful, modern, clean, and stylish with a beautiful interior design that gives it a polished welcoming vibe. Whoever designed this place deserves a shoutout, because it makes you want to linger over your latte instead of rushing out. We came for breakfast and left full; portions are generous, and the flavors hit the mark. I had chicken and waffles and breakfast burrito, which were hearty and satisfying without being overly greasy. My wife went for an omelet and everything was well-prepared. It's definitely on the pricier side, though, so just know you're paying a little extra for the setting and the vibe. Worth it? Mostly, especially if you're in the mood for something a little more elevated than your average brunch spot. One heads-up: bottomless champagne is only on weekdays, which was a bit of a letdown since we visited on a Saturday. The staff was friendly, so no real complaints. Overall, it's a great brunch option in a chill, Instagram-worthy setting. We'll definitely be back.

So far this is one of my favorite brunch spots by me! I've literally tried half the items from the menu and have never been disappointed in the slightest! Food is amazing, I love the chilquiles, Spanish and Chorizo Omeletes, Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, I could go on! They did change the menu about a year ago, and I do miss some of these items including the skillets and Deep Fried Pancakes that I literally used to always come here for. Mimosas is a must here- and you can get a pretty good deal on them too. And their Expresso or Horchata Matcha Martini. It is a quiter restaurant, and you can come here for a nice brucnh or lunch, as well as dinner. It's a nice and calm place to visit friends and family with, I have brought many people here as the food, service, and ambience is always relaible and pleasing to the senses.

Toast is such a cute spot for breakfast and brunch. The vibes are super girly and aesthetic. I ordered the lavender latte and the chicken and waffles, and both were so good. You can tell they put effort into the presentation and flavor. Service was great with friendly and attentive staff. Just a heads up, it does get really busy so the food can take a little longer to come out. They also only serve breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays, no lunch on those days. Overall, a really great spot and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fun and delicious brunch experience.

First timer and came for brunch. Definitely would recommend getting a reservation as this place seems to be busy. We had a resy at 11am and still had to wait 10-15 minutes for a table. We ordered mimosas (bottle) with a flight of Juices which I thought was cool. The service was a bit slow because probably the kitchen was also backed up a bit. I had the eggs Benedict and my friends ordered the chicken and waffles and the chilaquiles. Food was good, but I wouldn't say it's my fav. Overall good experience. This place def gets stars for me because they have their own parking lot. I'm always used to paying for parking lol!

Too many choices. The food was underwhelming. It is unfortunate. I wanted it to be good as it was for a special occasion. I had pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Bacon was not a good quality, super thin. Pancakes were less than average. They could have come out of a box. Eggs moist. My husband had chilaquiles and they were not appetizing at all. Small portion. Salsa was in a tiny plastic container and could have come out a jar. Coffee was good . This recommendation for the owners is to make it better so that it can be here for years to come. Simplify your menu. Review each recipe for flavor and portions. Maybe make a weekend brunch menu special and make it delicious. Try better quality ingredients. Spend less on presentation and ambiance. Make it taste better and people will come back again. Best of luck in the future.

Was expecting crispy bacon on the benny considering the description, but the only difference from classic seemed to be the avocado. The benny egg and muffin were both collected well, especially the eggs they did a great job on those. Wife didn't like the flavor of the hollandaise sauce, but thought it was fine. She liked the French toast much better. You did not need syrup as the butter cream and chocolate sauce were plenty sweet on their own. The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.

Could not have been happier. From the moment we walked through the heavy wooden door (fancy!) until we left- the host, the waitress, server, manager and even the owner were amazingly attentive and welcoming. When it's your birthday they put a nice sign at your table and everyone stops by to wish you an amazing bday. They also check in to make sure you're having a good time and enjoying your delicious meal. Now for the food: fresh, al dente and tasty. All adjectives you want running through your mind after the first bitesss. We ordered stuffed mushroom- hot and nicely seasoned. Mushrooms not overcooked and stuffing not overly cheesy. The shrimp linguine another hit with fresh tomatoes and jumbo shrimp with a nice snap. The light seasoning with lots of garlic was just perfect. We also ordered the beef short ribs. My friend said it melted on her mouth and the fresh mash potatoes- just right. Did I mention the portions were huge! Lots of goodies to take with us. To add to the dining experience we watched as patrons steadily came and went throughout the evening. You can tell this is a favorite for many. There were High-5s, handshakes and lots of "Welcome back friends!" Just an overall beautifully decked out neighborhood restaurant with so much heart and soul. I heard that the restaurant has been handed down from their grandparents... I'm sure they would be very proud. Highly recommend.

Walking inside, it definitely gives off that classic, old-school diner vibe. We were seated right away since it wasn't too busy at the time. The menu is huge, almost overwhelming, so it took us a minute to decide what to order. We kept it simple and went with the traditional pancakes, eggs, and bacon, plus a California burger. The portions were decent, but overall, the food quality was just okay. Nothing terrible, just not particularly memorable, it had a bit of that "cheap" taste to it. That said, the service really stood out. Our server was kind and patient, especially while dealing with my little one being a bit of a handful, which I definitely appreciated. Overall, I'd say it's a solid option if you're looking for a late-night sit-down spot and want to avoid fast food. While I personally wouldn't go out of my way to come back, it wasn't a bad experience. 4 stars, mainly for the friendly service, even though the food didn't quite hit for me.

Food is your average american breakfast like dennys and ihop, but I will say that the portions are a smudge more generous. You get what you order, but taste is nothing super memorable. With how great the service is here, I would choose this place (and probably this location) over another breakfast spot for our big family to dine at again!
