    Simple Breakfast
    Josh H.

I ordered the simple breakfast plate and a Spanish omelette plate. The Simple Breakfast was pretty good overall, everything on the plate was cooked well. The eggs weren't burnt, bacon weren't too soft or too crunchy, the toast had a good crunch, the potatoes were pretty bland. The Spanish omelette was a nice size, but it was pretty average tasting. I would not recommend to add cheese and jalapeños for $3 more to the potatoes. Overall from everything I ordered I was not impressed, everything was average and I wouldn't go out of my way for it. My bill for this came out to $60 before tip which I believe is expensive for what I got and other brunch places in the area. The staff were friendly and the food came out quick. The Ambiance is casual and simple.

I've been back a couple of times and overall have had a good experience every time. I wouldn't say that it's as standout of an experience as before, as the staff is just not as engaging and attentive anymore, but the food is still pretty yummy. Just a note, by the time the food was brought out, it was just this side of cool, which was a bummer. We'll still be back but might give it a little time before we're back to try it again.

This is one of my favorite brunch places. Their signature Benedict is perfect! The sauce is great, the thick cut bacon is salty, and eggs are cooked perfectly. I don't know what they put in their country potatoes, but they are awesome as well. I find that the food at this location is better than at the other Toast locations, and come back here all the time.

This little gem has become our family favorite for breakfast and/or brunch! The lot where this adorable restaurant sits is a bit of a ghost town, so there is ample parking. The staff greets you at the door, and presents an option of indoor or outdoor seating. We started frequenting this lovely cafe early last year after a friend who loves in the area recommended it, and we have returned almost once a week since then. The staff is so friendly and pleasant, and we have yet to have a bad experience. We actually live about 20 minutes away and we make the drive just to eat here. The dining room includes maybe ~11 tables and there are more and larger tables outside under canopies. The food is delicious! Also, I cannot stress enough that this establishment is NOT the same as Toast at the Stonewood Mall (that is "Toast Kitchen and Bar," and is absolutely disappointing and the service is terrible). Portions are big enough to fill you but not so big that you are taking home boxes of food. Eggs cooked how you order every time. Bacon cooked perfectly. French toast, divine. And their coffees and lattes are to die for (try the Mexican Mocha *drools*)! We'll be back!

Great outside Patio & amazing chili steak.

Went with a friend before a long day of activities and it really set the tone! Ambiance is relaxed and inviting. Our table was wobbly but one of the servers fixed it right away. The toast was a great portion for what the price was and the strawberry add-ons are a must!

Pretty cool spot, super quaint interior. Food was amazing, service left a little to be desired tho. Server wasn't super attentive for the small amount of customers. Highly recommend if you like breakfast food. Everything tasted fresh and high quality.

Cute and simple! Love the patio area! Completely covered but still getting your fresh air. Food was hot and flavorful. Service was excellent.

We were seated right away, which was nice. Our server was very friendly and the food came out quickly. We sat outside and it was a cute little area. The food was amazing, I loved everything we ordered! I got a vanilla latte that was amazing. My fiance and I split the house french toast and the Santa Bacon Benedict with the hash brown chips. It was some of the best food I have had in a while. The french toast was fluffy but still flavorful and not too sweet. The Benedict was great, I liked that they didn't put too much hollandaise sauce on it. Absolutely loved the hash brown chips! Totally a 10/10, can't wait to come back!

BEST BREAKFAST SPOT IN TOWN hands down. Anything you get here is absolutely fantastic. The service is timely, there's always someone around if you need something additional for the table. Ambiance is amazing. Outdoor seating is where it's at with this location! Great place to study as well!

I was really hoping to enjoy the huevos rancheros, but unfortunately, they fell short. If you're used to authentic Mexican huevos rancheros, I wouldn't recommend ordering them here--the sauce tasted like it was ketchup-based, similar to Hunt's sauce. I could only manage a few bites before giving up. On the bright side, my son had the Nutella toast and really enjoyed it, so that was a plus. The customer service was excellent, but unfortunately, the food just didn't hit the mark for me. I don't think I'll be coming back.

Classic breakfast with simple, delicious choices that won't break the bank. This is a chain restaurant but I believe, this is their first location.

Classic breakfast, eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast.

The clam chowder was Loaded with clams and Potatoes no skimping. The highlight was the ribeye. Excellent quality and it was cooked absolutely perfectly -- this is quality meat that doesn't need to hide behind a sauce. The French dip - also ribeye, was STACKED on an incredible roll with a mountain of fries. Our friend ordered the crabcake she said super fresh, briny, like the actual ocean. Sides were stellar too! The smashed roasted Brussels sprouts and the Yukon gold mashed potatoes were genuinely some of the best things I've had. We had a French Bordeaux that went beautifully with everything. The chefs came out to chat with us, which was a nice touch. The owner/chef did serious time at Nick and Stef's and Patina here in LA and it absolutely shows. This is LEGIT. Immediately upon walking in the mood felt a bit off. We sat and the lone server came over eventually and gave us glasses and water. Time between check ins was quite lengthy. We attempted to order drinks and were told they were out of 6/8 of their beer options. We selected a few cans from the servers descriptions and placed an order for some appetizers. We had all finished our drinks by the time the appetizers arrived and oh no they were also out of the Brussels sprouts so we had to swap to fries. I then asked for a second can of the beer I ordered. The server came back with two different beer cans, and explained they had, you guessed it, run out of the beer I ordered. It appeared these we're the last two cans in the joint. We placed our entree orders. Coq a Vin and lamb shank 86'd. Shocking. We proceeded to wait around 40 minutes before food arrived at our table. The restaurant was half empty. What took so long?! I wish I could stop here and tell you the good food redeemed our experience. Dear reader that was simply not the case. Great : Parker house rolls, the kale and onion sautéed beneath my steak, the garlic aoli the server forgot that we had to ask for. Good : filet mignon 6 oz , medium rare Ok : fries. They were boring and came in huge piles with everything which made the substitute appetizer fries redundant. Wings, though technically they were all full sized drumsticks in place of your traditional flats and drummies. Burger, bacon and caramelized onions were doing all the heavy lifting. Bun excessively sesame seeded. Meh: clam chowder, super boring. Shrimp pasta, lacked flavor Bad : Korean fried chicken sandwich. My guest only managed two bites. The server eventually brought us our bill, which they then had to correct because it still had the missing brussel sprouts on our tab. They comped us one glass of wine, and our dinner was $200, PLUS a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Suffice to say we don't plan to return.

Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. While awaiting my meal I ordered a cup of regular ol' black coffee. Believe me when I say that cup of coffee was a fantastic one; they have superb coffee here. My french toast was amazing. Thick-cut & fried brioche bread with a magnificent exterior crunch yet soft inside, served with lemon curd and raspberry puree along with a dollop of homemade whipped cream. Definitely award-winning french toast. My friend, a vegetarian, ordered a different french toast and was envious of mine. Hers was a bit mushy and came with a side of bacon and sausage which she promptly handed over to me. The sausage was very flavorful and the bacon was meaty, simultaneously crisp and chewy, and very much appreciated by me.
