After my Pilates class I had to stop by because I was curious where people were getting their coffee from. When I went, they still had their soft opening hours and I would say there were 6 people ahead of me. Which doesn't seem like much, but the line was out the door, and progressively got longer as time went on. I really enjoyed the space, and even thought I waited maybe 15 minutes to order, my drink and pastry were out in a jiffy! You can't go wrong with their honey oat latte with a chocolate croissant. It definitely revived me after having done a hit Pilates class.

This spot is tucked away in the outermost corner, so it might take a second to find--but once you do, you'll notice how big the space is. Honestly, it's huge... they could definitely add more tables to fill it out. My boyfriend and I stopped by around 4:30 PM, not realizing they close at 4. Even though they were technically closed, Joel was kind enough to still let us order the Zuzu Cloud Top since they had the ingredients available--and I'm so glad he did! That drink was amazing. The cloud top was easily one of the best I've ever had--light, flavorful, and just overall perfection. I'm genuinely so grateful he let us try it. He also mentioned they're currently in their soft opening phase, which honestly surprised me. Most soft openings I've been to have pretty limited menus, but they already had a good variety. I had my eye on a few seasonal drinks, so I'll definitely be back to try more. I'm really excited to see how this place grows and what else they bring to the menu!

This new location is not fully ready but was able to get a taste of some of their coffee and pastries. I liked the Spanish latte just due keep in mind it is on the sweater side. The Zuzu cloud top is also good not so sweet but foam does give it more flavor. Location is pretty big, a space to get work done but parking is not the best. Since they are just opening lines are a bit long and it seemed like they are still training people. Workers are helpful and nice. The only thing I just wish they can adjust would be how much ice in the cup. It felt like I finish my drink on a couple sips and the cup was full of pure big ice.

Terrible parking lot, but don't let that keep you from coming here! It's busy during their soft opening for a reason. It's because it's already a hit! Line was long, but it moved quickly. Customer service was wonderful, team was busy but still friendly. Space is ample, clean and music was a great vibe. I've been visiting a few places and this one is a standout for the banana matcha I had a few days ago. Today I ordered the strawberry matcha it was yummy, but nothing hits like the banana one. Ordered the horchata latte today as well. Drinks were delicious. Food is not yet available but I am curious if it will be just as good as these drinks. I came back twice in one week. I highly recommend!

This place is the only of coffee bean and tea leaf shop, they have a Yuzu coffee (I think that's what it's called) and it's sooooo good!! The number of coffee shops in Whittier is increasing and I think this place will definitely be on the top 3 for sure! I can't wait to go back

I've been coming since their first soft opening week. There's a reason why you see this place busy. The coffee is so delicious! My favorite has become the horchata with coffee. My husband's favorite is the Spanish latte. This week I was genuinely blown away by how delicious this passion fruit pastry was! The flaky texture, the delicious filling that was perfectly balanced...soooo good! The place it's self is gorgeous, modern, and big. Love coming here

I'm a regular at Tranquilo Coffee and it never disappoints. My go-to is an iced vanilla matcha (no agave, 19g matcha), and it's always spot on. My boyfriend gets the Tranquilo cold brew with vanilla and cold foam, and he's just as obsessed. The drinks are consistently amazing, and the service is super fast, which I really appreciate. There was one time they missed adding vanilla/agave but still charged for it, which was a little annoying, but it hasn't happened again. Bonus: it's conveniently close to both my Pilates and Lagree studios, so it's become part of my routine. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots in the area.

I've stopped by here twice now. And it is a really nice spot for getting some work done or just hanging out. The service is a tad bit slow but its likely because they are just opening. I first had the Zuzu and that was tasty, just a little bitter. The horchata latte was good but a little too sweet. Im hoping i can adjust the sweetness to the horchata latte un the future because I think it will be delicious.

They definitely maxed out the space for hanging out. Clean and inviting. Ordered a Americano with two extra shots and lots of ice, solid Americano would definitely get one again from this business. I also ordered a TRANQUILO COLD BREW which was smooth but tasty, I also asked for two ice waters. Cashiers was nice enough to get them to me asap so I could take them to my kids. Baristas were helpful and courteous. Will be back again

Strawberry latte: actually super tasty. Great strawberry and coffee mix. Yuzu: an acquired taste but one of the best yuzu coffees we've had in a long time! Banana latte: has enough banana that it's not over or under powering 10/10 would could back!

I checked out a new coffee shop in my hometown during their first soft opening week and turned it into a little Sunday adventure with my pup. The line was definitely long, but it moved quickly, which I appreciated. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but I got lucky and found a spot pretty fast. On my first visit, I tried the butter croissant and the Strawberry Shortcake latte. The drink was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not bitter, just really well done. My only regret is not asking to add vanilla cold foam. I also had the chance to meet the owner, who was actually taking orders herself. She was incredibly sweet and shared some of her plans for the space, which made the experience feel even more personal. The shop itself is spacious with plenty of seating, great music, and a really welcoming vibe. They also have a private room with glass windows, and I'm excited to see what's in store for that area. It looks like they even have cups for dine-in, which all makes it a great spot to hang out, catch up with friends, or even get some studying done, if you don't mind a steady flow of people coming in and out (which I definitely don't). Every staff member I've interacted with has been incredibly warm and welcoming. They're so good at greeting people right away and are very attentive, which really elevates the whole experience. I loved it so much I ended up bringing some coworkers back during lunch the following day. That time I tried the Zuzu Cloud and the horchata latte. I was especially impressed with the horchata latte, sometimes they can come out grainy (from previous experiences at other shops), but this one was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. With that said, the Zuzu Cloud is definitely my favorite so far (and yes... I've already been back a few times lol). Overall, such a great addition to the area and I'm excited to see how the space continues to come together!

The banana matcha was really good Nice earthy ceremonial-grade matcha flavor, made with oat milk just how I like it. The banana flavor was subtle and enjoyable without overpowering the matcha. Service was amazing and everyone was so kind. So happy they're in Whittier -- it's nice to have a solid matcha spot nearby.

Pistacho Matcha Croissant

I got the Spanish Latte, it was good and very creamy, nothing that wowed me from any other Spanish latte I've tried. Now the pistachio matcha croissant is a different story, very soft and flavorful. The staff was super friendly, fast service. The coffee shop was very clean and spacious.

Saturday mornings clearly bring the crowds here because the drive-thru line was wrapped all the way…read moreout onto the street, and it definitely took some patience to get through. That said, once we finally reached the window, the experience turned around. We ordered an iced banana horchata latte and a regular iced horchata latte, and both drinks were worth the wait. The horchata flavor was smooth and well-balanced, not overly sweet, with a nice cinnamon note that complemented the coffee instead of overpowering it. The banana version added a subtle, natural sweetness that made it feel a little more unique without being artificial or heavy. Even with the long line, the quality of the drinks stood out. If you're planning to stop by on a weekend, it's probably best to expect a wait, but at least you can count on getting a solid, flavorful coffee once you make it through.

I ordered it today Sunday, March 1st around 1pm and it tasted nasty as hell. Yes a latte is milk but my drink was milk with a little bit of vanilla with a little bit of ice. Girl in the drive thru couldn't hear anything I was saying so my order was wrong at first. And come to find out all she was doing was talking the whole time. Won't be back. Unless I want nothing but milk in my drink. Make sure to come during the weekday if you want your coffee made right.

I love their coffee here but especially the burritos! Best burritos!!…read more They do get a little busy and wait times can be long but worth the wait. Lovely staff as well :)

LFTD recently made an announcement that they are being evicted by their landlord and will close…read moredown this brick-and-mortar location by the end of this year (December 29th, 2025). A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).
