Absolutely perfect fried chicken. I got the nashville hot at heat level 'hot', and it was medium-hot. The chicken was cooked perfectly, with even the breast having enough flavor that you didn't feel too disappointed moving to it after the delicious dark meat pieces. I also added the spicy pickles and hot sauce, I mostly ate the chicken dry, but with breast I did dip it, and the sauce was really good. The pickles were a nice addition I'd recommend. The only disappointing thing was the fries I got with it, they didn't hold onto their crunch like the chicken, and were just really standard generic french fries you'd get from a bodega; that said, I'd just get another side, as everything else was good. Peaches is a NYC staple that I HAVE to go visit anytime I go to Brooklyn. I usually get the catfish, but for my latest visit to NYC, I got the opportunity to try both the fried chicken and the chicken sandwich. The chicken is GOOD. I loved the flavor and the chicken and it was perfectly crispy. I ordered mine with the Hot Honey - it has a warning on it, so order at your own risk. I love spicy food, and it was GREAT. Super spicy, with a little bit of a sweet kick to it. Highly recommend if you like spicy food with flavor. The mac and cheese was nice and cheesy, but lacked flavor. If it had some seasoning, it would have been fire. The cornbread was tasty as well. They also have a Tiger Woods drink (it's like an Arnold Palmer) that was absolutely delicious. I then inform her I'll just keep the fries and forget about the home fries and just give me an order of grits because I didn't want to give her a hard time but I was just confused about why this was such a difficult mission. Sadly disappointed to see the downfall of this place. I used to be a regular from the time they opened. I recently visited this place again and the experience was so horrible that I ended up walking out and will never return as a paying customer. I pointed it out to her and she immediately became defensive in her tone and body language basically saying "if you don't like it you can leave if you are in a hurry or wait for another. I had no problem with these two options as I was in a hurry but it was the disrespectful way she spoke to me and her body language. No professionalism or customer service approach was applied here. The experience just gave me a vibe of what this place has turned into. Something lower grade than where it was before. They used to have a professional staff and managers but now it's just kids who could care less about the quality of anything. The clientele has also changed to a more like Popeyes vibe.
