Sisters was great from the food, service and ambiance. There was a little something for all of us even the pescatarian. The drinks and food were delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Great service with plenty of options on the brunch menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment is welcoming and servers were very friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The chilaquiles were full of flavor! Would definitely recommend.

Came here for an afternoon brunch after a 5K run in nearby prospect park. We had a reservation for 1:30PM and was seated the . [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was definitely cute, with an interesting decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the heirloom rice bowl with chicken, the burger with bacon, and the French toast. Food didn't take too long and we got digging. The rice bowl had a healthy amount of grilled chicken (for $8). The burger was deliciously juicy and went well with the crispy bacon and fries. The French toast was quite sweet with the jam and fruits that you can opt to forego the syrup. All in all, would return

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute interior/bar area![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I liked their selection of beers on tap. Def recommend the fried pickles here, which were super tasty and crunchy. I also liked the kale Caesar salad with the fried chicken cutlet (salad was well dressed and chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside). Prob wouldn't order the artichoke dip again, found it too salty for my taste.

The service was great! We had a snafu with our reservation and they were incredibly understanding and flexible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is beautiful and dreamy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The chicken sandwich, drinks, and French toast were all delicious!

    Frozen Pain Killer
    Kayla Q.

Stopped by Sisters Restaurant fresh off my flight with no expectations, and it was a great first brunch stop. Saturday was busy, so even dining solo I had to wait a few minutes for a bar seat--I'd recommend making a reservation. The Frozen Pain Killer ($18, pictured) was excellent. The menu has something for everyone, though nothing immediately stood out as a must-try for me. The atmosphere was warm (literally) and inviting, with beautiful natural light from the overhead skylight. Overall, a solid brunch spot with great vibes and cocktails. I'll be back for a drink if in the area.

Bar Area as you walk in
    Imani J.

Not sure why this restaurant doesn't have an average of 4/4.5 stars! My sister and I were too stunned to speak when we walked in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sun roof and natural light is truly breathtaking and the architecture of the bar and overall decor is breathtaking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came for lunch and the food menu is simple, but is perfect for a farm to table restaurant. The chicken sandwich with the pickled slaw was great, the fish sandwich was a bit milder in flavors, but was light and flakey which made it good. Food was fresh and came out piping hot. Service was not as frequent as other places, but he was balancing the bar area, taking orders and tending to each table. When he did come to check in, the turn around for what we requested was quick.

    Skirt Steak

The chimichurri skirt steak was to die for! It was perfectly cooked and the whole carrots and baby potatoes were the best addition to the meal! I really enjoyed the frozen painkiller too but my friend had a margarita and said something tasted off about it. Service was good and it was interesting to learn parties can also be hosted in the back room here.

When I tell ya'll it's probably been years since I stepped into Sisters! And I'm kinda mad at myself for staying away for so long. Me and a group of gals spent the day together. Talking, sharing stories and enjoying the beautiful day with brunch, a little thrifting and then a lazy walk. We ended up at sisters where we had some great cocktails and shared a bunch of small plates! Everything was really really good. I can't wait to go back and hope that it won't be as far and few between, as the last time.

    Quinoa Burger - surprisingly delicious

For my 900th review, I have to highlight this beautiful Farm to Table in Brooklyn. (Sorry Queens!) Friendly staff, even the customers are friendly. While waiting for our items. We were talking to our neighbor who is a big Liberty fan so we unloaded the extra items from the fan appreciation ceremony we were at. Great food. We both ended up living the quinoa burger. It paired well with the tomato soup. We split everything in half which worked well for us. Great space. Everything is so relaxed and enjoyable. Go say hi if you are in the neighborhood.

Rocky start but strong finish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sisters is a very cozy restaurant which would be an ideal location for a date or cocktails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The focal point of the large bar was rather nice as it illuminated its spirits and house mixers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Getting seated was no problem and I have to credit the hostesses for making a quick and strategic decision to allow for my group to be seated within secs upon arrival. The server was very polite and persistent while working through some communication challenges with the kitchen. The relayed information did create some confusion at the table but was able to be resolved by the owner who clarified the menu option and finished taking the order. The second order of the salmon didn't arrive correct with the substitution and we were ready to settle, fortunately the server was insistent the order was corrected and returned it to the kitchen. Once the meal arrived corrected it was amazing. I ordered the fried fish sandwich that was constructed very well. The brioche bun tasted like it was made in house, the fish itself was very flakey and tender without falling apart, and the sauce with the garnish paired well. I do wish a side of aioli sauce came with it because it was very good. The wings were sriracha based and likely cut in house. The flavor was unique and tasty. The salmon was perfectly cooked and could have used a bit more seasoning. The fresh cracked pepper and table salt added the final touch to enhance the flavor. Not pictured were the skirt steak and Brussels sprouts. Both were tasty and made cooked properly despite the communicated prep from the kitchen relayed to the table. Overall I'll return to the restaurant to try different options and to have more cocktails. The staff adjusted rather well considering the minor communication challenges and everyone left happy and satisfied with their meal. 3.9 out of 5

Came here for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was beautiful decorated. The front of the restaurant is airy and bright while the back is darker and cool feel to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was amazing and super friendly. I wish the food was better. The french toast i ordered was under cooked. The center of the bread was super soggy and wet. The chicken sandwich was okay. The drinks were pricey and nothing special.

Sisters is a charming restaurant that serves farm to table food which is absolutely delicious. During the day, it's light and airy due to the sky light and design. At night, it's moody and sultry with low lights. Perfect for solo, friends or romantic dates, i would recommend Sisters for all of your needs. I've only been here for dinner and drinks but in the 3 times I've been, it's never disappointed. The first two times I've come here, I've sat at the bar and the service there has always been attentive and enjoyable. The drinks are cute and fun- my go to is the Orpheus. It reminds me of a tropical island everytime i drink it. I had the skirt steak for dinner and it was delicious- perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare- i was obsessed. The only thing i would say is that the service at the tables was just okay. Wasn't anything to write home about- my friend and i sat right against the wall at the entrance so it wasn't the best. And we fluctuated between two staff members. The woman was sweet and checked in at appropriate times. The man popped in and out randomly and it was confusing on who we should order with- especially we couldn't order another drink before we ended the night. But nevertheless, it was such a good spot- good food, drinks, ambient light and the music isn't too loud. What more can you ask for?

When I walked in, I noticed two available seats at the bar. A Caucasian woman took one of the seats, and I sat in the other. Moments later, an employee asked me to move because the woman's friend was supposedly on the way. Now, I've always understood bar seating to be first come, first served. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I wasn't even given the opportunity to order a drink or remain seated until the friend actually arrived. Instead, I was immediately asked to give up my seat for someone who wasn't even present. As a Black man, on Juneteenth of all days, the optics of the situation did not sit well with me. The music was Black. The atmosphere was Black. The culture being celebrated was Black. Yet it felt like preference was being given to someone who wasn't even there over a paying customer who was. Maybe that wasn't the intent, but perception matters, and the experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. Avoid it at all cost! Zero STARS

Everything was exactly as I remembered -perfectly cooked and well seasoned, large portions with more than enough to take home. The chef stopped by our table which was a nice touch. Service overall was great. They also make great use of such a small space. It is indeed well worth the visit. Side note, we ordered the same exact items off the menu as we did a year ago...only one thing was missing which was the biscuits with the flavored butter jam. We loved the food…read more Came here on a saturday for lunch before the world cup. We arrived just when it opened I think. The place was pretty quiet. Friendly waitress greeted us and sat us immediately. Menu's came out and they recommended a pizza and burger. We agreed and ordered. Place started to pick up and get busy immediately after we ordered. Food came out pretty quickly. We each had a burger. Not a lot of options on the menu but we all tried the emily burger. It was worth it. Think, juicy and with an amazingly unique taste. The ingredients were high quality, the burger cooked to perfection. The table also split the modern pizza (I think). Not sure what to expect from this one but turns out it was perfect, unique and delicious. The cheese taste really shined through. Overall, we were super happy with the food here. Stop by if you have a chance.

Greetings all, it's been a while but here I am. Let's talk about Emily a quant pizza restaurant…read morethat you could easily walk pass and not know what they sold. Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.
