I celebrated my son's bday dinner last night. I was running a little behind due to traffic. I called to let them know. A really nice lady answered and was so sweet. When we walked in, we got the warmest welcome from her. Her name is Debbie. I have a 10yrs old also and she immediately started having a conversation with her. When she sat us in the dinning room, she let us know there were 2 servers for the night with a 1 bus boy. She mentioned them by name and I loved that. We were attended to by Keith. He was such a gem. He recommended so really great choices for us. This is what we had. For drinks, my husband and my son had the Red Hook which they loved. I don't drink so I had the Captain Jack Mocktail. Appetizers- Seafood Tower and Rhode Island Calamari. OMG the calamari is a must try. It has a little kick but you will thank me later. I little heat never hurt nobody. Dinner- we all shared the Gala Apple Salad, Porter House, Linguini and Clams, Lundy's Potatoes, and Mac and Cheese. Dessert- The Butterscotch Sundae my daughter hogged, and the Lundy's Huckleberry Pie. Now let me tell you. I do not eat huckleberry pie, but that one, I could not believe how tasty. The crust was hard and sweet and the filling had the right flavor. Not too sweet or tart. All throughout dinner my husband and my son kept saying how great the food was. It was truly amazing and the service was great, with only 3 working and staying attentive to several tables. I would definitely come back. Maybe for a girls night next time.

I Love, love, LOVED Lundy Bros!! A sweet little spot with open space, yet cozy and comfortable. I Was working at a nearby hospital and staying at a hotel in the area and took a quick look at some Yelp reviews and menus of nearby places to eat and was drawn to Lundy's menu. It was unusually slow secondary to the crazy stormy weather so felt like I had the entire place to myself. I couldn't decide between two entrees I was learning towards and the chef just happened to be in ear-shot distance and mentioned he could do a half portion of both for me if I wanted. Amazing! Of course I couldn't resist taking him up on that. Each dish was phenomenal. The baked clams were delicious, the clams and linguini were bursting full of flavor and the bolognese was delicious as well. I ate well beyond more than I should have, but was not only enjoying the meal, I was also enjoying the conversation. Literally everyone in the restaurant was fantastic, super friendly and extremely attentive, they went above and beyond. I will absolutely be back and will bring my colleagues. I highly recommend Lundy Bros and can't wait to return to try more on the menu.

Came for the mozzarella sticks... stayed for the surf&turf. The cognac sauce was to die for! Service is Amazing!!!! Will definitely go out of my way for this one!

Loved. This is the type of room I want to be in. In the weathered WTF-used-to-be-here neighborhood. The menu is tight and the food is fan effing tastic. It's for real. You feel like you've discovered a place. Will come back here 3x per year.

Had dinner here last night to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff are very friendly, service was excellent as well as the food... Good size portions. I loved the doo-wop and Motown music playing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I had the surf and turf and my wife had the lobster, both amazing.

Heard about Lundy on Instagram. Went for dinner with a friend. From the outside the restaurant does not look appealing. When we walked in the front area was kind of bland and cold, was afraid I was in the wrong place. Not to mention it was empty. Then they walked us to the back, the dining room. The decor was cozy old school classy. The service was ok. I could have done without the biscuits, dry. The calamari (Rhode Island) was tasty. For entrees we ordered the Pork Milanese and the Burger. The Pork Milanese was a good chose it came with a delicious zesty sauce that gave it a nice kick. The burger also came with a tasty special sauce. The food was good, can't say the same for the drinks. We had expresso martinis and a cosmo, not the best. Would return for the food but not the drinks.

Food was great . Side dishes limited , $2 per biscuit without telling us up front isn't cool . Used to come with biscuits in the 60's . Only thing like the original Lundys is the name

The seafood boils are served with potatoes, corn, and garlic bread. You have a choice of the twist special sauce (spice level is adjustable) or garlic butter; both are delicious. The seafood is very fresh here; I've tried all types - shrimp, crawfish, clams, snow crab, king crab, lobster, mussels, and cuttlefish. I've never had a bad meal here and would highly recommend this place if you enjoy seafood. I've also tried their baked oyster appetizer which is phenomenal. Service: Staff are friendly and very attentive. Service was excellent. Ambiance: The restaurant is not big, but they have a good number of tables. Both small and large groups can be accommodated. The place is a bit out of the water with nothing else around the area, but it's worth the trek if you're already at Industry City or Costco in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Surrounded by grimy warehouses, mechanic shops and other industrial endeavors, Twist seafood is a fantastic restaurant that I believe everyone who lives in 40 block radius should be frequenting. Although initially I came here for the happy hour oysters, I'm so glad that I stayed for more. I situated myself at the bar and asked for a dozen oysters. These oysters were fresh but a bit on the smaller side. I do wish more thought and finesse went in to the oysters like a nicer sauce selection. They should definitely take notes from the oysters happy hour at Siren. Perhaps it was my enthusiasm slurping them away that made the kind lady shucking them ask me if I would like a dozen more? Hell yeah is the only appropriate response to such thoughtful questions. I washed down the oysters with a crisp glass of Allagash and in that moment decided why not order an entree too? I'm so happy I went with the New Zealand mussels prepared in their house special spicy butter sauce because Oh. My. God.... First of all, I have never seen a mussel this meat and gooey and fat and delicious. A literal shell fish lover's dream??? The sauce was decadent and spicy and aromatic and all the things a seafood boil sauce should be. The potatoes were steamed perfectly. The corn? Delicious and sweet and my only wish was that there was more of it. The garlic bread soaked up all the juices beautifully. Honestly even though I went in here searching for oysters I believe the real star of the show is obviously the seafood boil entrees... and also very reasonably priced. As I write about this my mouth is watering and I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on these mussels again. Please go here, you will not regret it!!

It's got a solid, nautical feel that gives you enough brass and wood to feel like a real lobster shack. It's good ...comforting, rich, well-made ......even if it's a little light on the minced clams. I caught myself digging around with my spoon, searching for a few more chunks of clam in the creamy broth, but I forgave it because the flavor was fantastic. Main event: the Maine lobster roll. Now look, I've eaten lobster rolls all over the Northeast..and a few other places. When you order a lobster roll, you're looking for flavor and simplicity. Red Hook's roll is good. The lobster is fresh. But here's the thing: at an overall tab running around $80 a head, you expect a top-tier entry into the culinary lobster roll pantheon. Instead, it lands on the smaller side of the spectrum. Worse, the kitchen holds back on the seasoning. Lobster is sweet and rich, sure, but it needs a little help...... a hint of herbs, or just a generous hand with the salt/pepper to elevate it from good to great. It's a good roll, but when the check landed, I couldn't help feeling a bit let down. To finish, I looked at the dessert choices. The salad contained wood ear mushrooms, which are known to release toxins if kept overnight, so I hope it was made the day of and not old! I really liked the udon beef stir fry. It was pretty big for just $13.95, and the udon had a good texture (not too mushy) while the beef tasted fresh. For the sauerkraut fish, you can choose between small and large. I got the small but felt that it was still a lot, so the portions are really generous. You can also choose between three different types of fish: basa, snakehead, and grass carp.
