This restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. The decor is eclectic and whimsical, love it. Came here on a Friday night so it was very busy, service okay for the amount of people in the place. The fried calamari was tasty and fried to perfection. I got nachos for my main and added steak ( extra 6 dollars to add) - they were okay and not much steak. Overall a good place for a local Friday night.

This place never disappoints. I came in to order food to go. I sat at the bar and order a drink okay may two drinks while I waited for the food. I ordered chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, house salad, and a Swiss burger with sauté onions and bacon. While I waited for the order, I had a finely crafted 1800 margarita on the rocks with salt. The bar tender was super attentive. The drink was amazing. I went home and had the burger and mozzarella sticks. Both were amazing. Perfect amount of sauté onions, bacon, and a burger patty on an English Muffin. The salad was fresh and the chicken tenders with fries were great according to my guests. The price was right. The place is clean and always decorated. I will definitely be back.

This is one of the neighborhood's institutions! Meaning, it's been here since forever! They allegedly don't have a happy hour - until January. I never realized how HUGE this place is! You should definitely come for the decor! They decorate for almost all the holidays! Christmas, I think is the best time - my picture doesn't do it justice! Had the zucchini sticks (which is kind alike mozzarella sticks but made w/zucchini) w/this white sauce that was pretty good. Oh and we also had buffalo wings w/extra blue cheese. The drinks, were ok: Martini, White Chocolate Martini (if I remember correctly), and a Malibu and pineapple. The first two drinks were severely over poured that it SPILLED

Came in on a lightly rainy day. My friends and I grabbed a table near the bar and ordered beers and some appetizers. The chili over fries was so good! But what's won be over is the effort in decor. Christmas is all over the walls and ceiling of this place. There's a train that runs above around the bar! And the dining room is even more decked out! I can't wait to go back for a sit down meal. Anyway, the staff was so nice, behind and outside the bar. I was gawking at the dining room and one person was like "you can go inside and look around if you want!" and I felt so shy cuz people were eating I'll be back very soon!

Awesome vibes, very cool mix of people of all ages, cultures & walks of life. Friendly & hardworking staff. Really cool interior. I wish they had better music. The food is reasonably priced, but not great. I also wish they had a German pils. The vibes & the cold beer & really dope interior & crowd good bartender trump all of that, tho. Vibes are really 90% - of everything in life !

I love this place for the holiday decorations and how festive they are but especially all the train shows going around the restaurant. Every thing here is delicious, the prices are unbeatable. Their daily specials are epic. I ordered the strip steak here twice because you just can't beat it at $27! The Mac n cheese and chili wings are also delicious. The expresso martini is yummy. The menu is pretty old fashion and I wouldn't be surprised if this place has been around for decades. The staff is great and they'll let you take pics in front of the decorations. My steak each time was perfect temp, fresh, and eats like butter. Make reservations for dinner. Even on a Monday night this place is over an hour wait and CROWDED!

Fun festive restaurant! We really enjoyed the little decorations. Everywhere you looked, there were new surprises with the decor. As expected, it was packed for a weekend even though it was early for dinner, so we had to wait a while for a seat. Street parking was tricky and we ended up having to park at the garage. The chocolate martini was delicious. We loved the mussels as well. Worth stopping by especially if you are planning to see the Dyker Heights lights

Clean festive nice friendly place. The staff is terrific. Food is extraordinary everything from the burgers to club sandwiches to desserts and the most delicious chicken pot pie I have ever had! Have been coming here for years and always wonderful

Party of 6 after a block of halloween festivities on 5th ave. was seated pretty quickly . They brought us a bread basket and one of the breads had walnuts and cranberry omg delicious . 3 of us got burgers they did mess up on one of them with the cheese but not a big deal. They had a kids meal which is great when you have kids . My husband raves about the mashed potatoes. Beautiful decor. Nice family friendly place.

Local neighborhood hang it seems. Went to see the famous holiday house and stopped by skintight with some teenagers. The teenagers felt overwhelmed because it is a pub..but once we were seated in the back it was very family oriented. We ordered apps and a steak dinner..drank Shirley temples and hard drinks for the adults. The drinks were priced well and really good.our food was regular pub fare. Service was friendly and efficient. It was great seeing the resturant decorated in valentine decor. Cute for a casual date

Skinflints has a fun and festive scheme of decor, complete with blinky lights and Christmas trains, to match the famously decked out homes nearby in Dyker Heights. As such, the establishment has a neighborhood bar atmosphere but also attracts tourists from at least as far as Alabama, from a conversation I overheard between a drawling table and their server. Service was rather quick and methodical, and my hot drink and steak au poivre were well received. My boyfriend liked his ribeye also, so it was a pleasant night out for us, at his recommendation, I might add (he had been enchanted by the bar during a per-chance visit while observing the lights with friends from out of town a week prior).

Good local food and drinks! My friends and I stopped by here on a random stop by in bay ridge based on their cute love decor on the outside. It was a bustling Friday and we had a short wait for our table so we got some drinks and sat at a bar table. The decor in here is phenomenal, I mean they must spend all their time and efforts to making this place an experience. We got seated at our table and I was constantly amazed at the trains and other decorations for bday. I definitely got some cute pics. The food was really good. I had the steak with loaded potato and veggies. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the steak and mushrooms as well. This is definitely a good date night, family dinner or friends hangout spot.

We ordered the chicken liver mousse, crispy potato tart, and burger. The chicken liver mousse is a must order and something I get every time I come here, whether it is this location or the Park Slope one. The mousse itself is rich, creamy, savory, and packed with umami. I just wish it came with something better on the side. The pita was a little underwhelming and was not warmed all the way through. The crispy potato tart was excellent. The potato was super crispy, and a bite with the salmon, egg, sour cream, and potato together was perfect. The lightly dressed arugula helped cut through the richness and made for a nice palate cleanser. The burger looked pretty simple when it arrived, but it ended up being surprisingly good. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great neighborhood spot and one I would happily come back to.

We were the only people in the restaurant the entire time, though there were a few delivery orders. The restaurant has a homey interior, with callouts to their historic presence in Bay Ridge. We ordered the chicken klopsiki ($15.65) and the Hungarian pancakes ($20). Each dish comes with a house salad, which consists of red cabbage, sauerkraut, cole slaw, beets, shredded carrots, and lettuce. The salad had nice flavors and tasted fresh! I really enjoyed the chicken klopsiki, which is a chicken meatball. The meatball was moist, and the sauce had a nice flavor, like chicken soup. The only downside was that the mashed potatoes had no flavor and tasted like powdered mashed potatoes. I liked the flavor of the Hungarian pancakes, but the ratio of pancake to filling was heavily skewed toward the pancake, which was just fried potato with minimal flavor. Therefore, I would pass on the pancakes and just get the goulash if I decided to return. Service was okay. When I asked the server for recommendations, she wasn't enthusiastic, but I was asking generally, and I could have been more specific. She left during our meal, and we had to call someone to give us the check. So after giving us the food, service was nonexistent. As shown on my receipt, the salad alone was nearly $22, and my order totaled over $57. At those prices, I expect much better quality control, especially when it comes to food safety. I've never had an issue when eating at the restaurant itself, so I hope this review brings awareness to the quality of delivery orders as well. Over the years, Pegasus has grown with the community, becoming a steady place for everyday meals and familiar faces." Pegasus is a longstanding landmark in Bay Ridge. I wouldn't call it a diner per se because it is cozy with a few booths and a counter. I would call it a classy coffee shop. The menu has something for everyone: burgers, eggs, pancakes, salads and all the comfort food from home made for you. I had some errands to take care of on 86th street so I decided to stop in; I haven't dined here in a while. Pegasus is not just for Brooklynites, many patrons come from Staten Island and other far away places. As I stood on line I heard " I made a reservation is my table ready?" "45 minutes wait?" and I said "I'll take any seat even the counter" as I was told 30 minutes for a seat. Then, 10 minutes later, three seats opened up at the counter. I found my seat and reviewed the menu; I was in the mood for a turkey burger but they do not offer it anymore. So, I ordered an Impossible Burger deluxe and a cup of coffee. The coffee was served piping hot and it was delicious! Then, my burger came out.TBH I didn't know what to expect. I spread some mayo and ketchup on it and took one bite... delicious! It really tastes like the real thing. The fries were plentiful and also scrumptious. The service was on point: iced water served, coffee cup refilled and love the fact there are extra napkins in the bar to take which I needed. The burger was a little messy but worth it!
