Come here for drinks only Foos is nothing special at all and even a bit over riced for bay ridge . I had the slider corned beat they were tough and chewy in some parts . The portable burger wasn't bad but nothing to buy again. Sinks only and to watch the game

Went here today for an early dinner and it did not disappoint. We loved the cool decor which used to be a church. Very gothic and super comfortable. Staff and service were absolutely delightful. We enjoyed Cobb salad, the infamous chicken pot pie and Keylime pie. We certainly had a lot of pie today. Lol. I couldn't get enough of that chicken pot pie and kept burning my tongue which was my own fault for being impatient. Really great vibe with awesome 80s and 90s music playing. Would definitely return.

The vibe is super fun, church interior and church benches are a great touch! The drinks were great and the chill beer glasses a great touch! It was between here a couple of places and the food did it justice! I got a spinach goat cheese salad with fresh grilled chicken, so yum! And the burger with the best tasting fries and onion rings! Best seasoning!!! It's a place to go!! The service was great always replenished our water. And food was fast! There was also live music on Sunday which was a great touch! Def a fun place to go! I'll be back!

Brunch done right! Crispy potato balls, a juicy bacon cheeseburger, and avocado toast perfection. We asked for extra crispy bacon and the eggs cooked a bit longer - they nailed it. Every bite hit. Service was on point. Love this place.

Yes, this is a bar and has parties at night but let's talk about the brunch I had. Philly cheesesteak mac and cheese entree could feed 4 people, probably. The short rib they used was perfection. My hubs got the chicken pot pie, which was also quite filling and tasted so good. They also had a cold brew version of Irish coffee which I so appreciated. If you're a fan of IPA they have good choices, especially given that Bay Ridge generally doesn't have many options. I love coming here and look forward to trying more menu items!

Went with a few coworkers on a Friday night and it's a great place to go after a work week. It was pretty loud and difficult to hear my coworkers but what is to expect on a Friday night. The servers are very helpful. They clear your plates pretty quickly. Maybe since it was a Friday, we had to flag our server a couple times to get her attention. The food was ok. The tacos and wings were delicious. I got a the monk burger and it was good but very small compared to other bar burgers I've gotten. It was cooked to my order which I appreciated but was just very surprised at the size of my burger. All in all great experience.

There a few times and it's been consistently good. Definitely enough choices on the menu to choose from. Service was good also. Tried the drink wake and bake for the first time and it was delicious lol burgers and the chicken sandwich really good.

Came here with some friends for dinner and some drinks. The service was really great and everyone was kind and welcoming. The decor is beautiful inside and makes you feel like you're in a medieval castle or fancy church. But the vibes are casual and cool. We started with the honey sriracha wings and the sauce was delicious but I felt like the actual wings were not seasoned underneath. My friends got dry rub wings with the honey sriracha sauce on the side and I think that is the way to go! I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and the burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were delicious and the portion size was great. My husband got shepherds pie and really enjoyed it as well. I would definitely come back when craving bar food and good vibes!

    Is this establishment child friendly?

I'd say yes when it comes to the restaurant side of the establishment since I see families dining there all the time. Since its a bar it can get loud and at times there is live music so if the child is bothered by that you should keep that in mind.

The space they chose was amazing, and they set up rope dividers for the breweries they knew would attract the largest crowds. A lot of the other breweries had little to no lines, so it was easy to keep your glass full (which was a bit dangerous with the 11% average ABV!). Caught some of my favorite breweries that you don't normally see in NYC, including Southern Grist, Trillium, Tired Hands, and Bottle Logic, as well as some local faves like Grimm and Finback. My top 5 beers: -Southern Grist Reboog Roadtrip -Bottle Logic Mint Condition -Omnipollo Argus Chocolate Hazelnut Toast Spread -Surly Brewing Tiramisu Funeral Bar -Finback Rainbow Cookie Other worthy mentions: -Bellwoods Bring Out Your Dead w/Hazelnut -3 Sons Brewing Mr. Fluffy Pants -Southern Grist Black & Blue Hill -Trillium x J Wakefield Vanilla Truffle There were also a few food samples, like ice cream and delicious mini pie slices from Four and Twenty Blackbirds. But otherwise you had to leave the place to get food from the main food court (highly recommended due to the aforementioned high ABV stouts). There was also wrestling at this event! It truly was the melding of two of my favorite things! I wish I could provide more useful feedback to Other Half, but they really knocked this one out of the park. Hope to attend their future events!

In case beer isn't your thing, they also have wine, cider, and spirits available, plus nonalcoholic options on the menu. The space is excellent -- clean and well lit, with a long bar and plenty of tables for small groups. Furniture and fixings look brand new, and there are a couple of TVs inside. Still, the wooden chairs and tables give a tavern vibe, even with the modern amenities. There are lots of great breweries in the area, but I think Queue Beer is a great spot for a more laid back outing and variety of beers.

The interior is designed to feel like a sunken ship, featuring a large fish tank, blue lighting, and rustic decor, while the outdoor space has a koi pond. It's praised for its good music, food, and overall vibe, making it a popular spot in the South Slope neighborhood." My friend Alisa said "Fawn you have been wanting to come here for a long time" Tis true.. we were loyal regulars at Nostro, Italian restaurant, for many years @5 blocks away is Sea Witch and for some reason we never went.. until tonight! Boy was I stoked.... I arrived a bit earlier than my friend took a seat at the lovely bar, that fish tank is awesome. I met Romer the bartender, and Crispin Grover fan and told him I wanted the Equilibrium Photon IPA.. hints of apricot, pineapple, mango, peach. If that's not a Fawn IPA then I don't know what is! Just in time for Happy Hour(5-7), $1 oysters, $7 draft and $8 house wine or $2 cheap wine. Alisa arrived and wanted a Cosmo but can't handle grapefruit. Romer to the rescue.. Hibiscus replacing grapefruit. Alisa loved it. There is no table service thus, you order from the window near front entrance. Great pub food selections from shrimp or oyster po' boys, hamburgers, tacos, sriracha honeyed chicken sandwich and more! Burgers served with fries but if not, add $3 to the order. We placed our order with Nick and you are given a ringer that rings when your order is ready. The music is pumping, Romer making good conversation and soon the bar is getting busy. Our order was ready and we found a table in the back, under the Sea Witch mural. First my Shrimp Po' Boy: Italian bread from Caputo's stuffed with a dozen small shrimp with rich butter garlic, parsley and scallions. The fries were crisp and plentiful. Alisa' burger: Paisano's 3 way blend with the fixings and fries. She enjoyed it. The ambience is so cool.. the bar is like a galley from a ship, wooden floors and tables, beautiful murals and that fish tank! There is a backyard with koi pond. I'll be back for that as it gets warmer. Here's a fun fact for the name: The "Sea Witch" is called a "Port of Brooklyn" because of its historic 1973 collision in the New York Harbor, where it was towed to the Brooklyn Navy Yard to be scrapped. It is often remembered for its 1973 collision with the tanker ESSO Brussels." Well the Port of Brooklyn has met Fawn and she likes what she sees! Sea Witch 793 5th Avenue Brooklyn, NY
