Food quality and portions were great! Service was AMAZING! Love the mom and pop family business vibe! Will definitely come back!

The owner was very ackwardly introducing himself to customers while disrespectfully speaking to the young lady working for him. The cook yelled out loud at the young lady in a manner that was very unprofessional and disrespectful. The food was very expensive and and just average tasting at best. The table next to us waited 55 minutes to get their pasta order. The pasta came in paper bowls and plastic utensils were all that were available. Drinks were canned sodas or bottles of water and very high prices and were not very cold. It was not a good experience and we will not be returning. read more

I read about Pastaphony this week on Nextdoor.com and was anxious to try it. As many others have posted the owner introduced himself and was so welcoming explaining that they use fresh pasta and his wife makes the sauces - "just like at home". There is a nice patio but I ordered the Fettuccine Truffle Cream with Spinach and Grilled Chicken and the Cheesy Garlic Bread to-go. Very well packaged, absolutely delicious with easily enough for three meals. What a great addition to Downtown Fullerton. read more

Pastaphony - Fettuccine Truffle Mushroom Cream with Spinach and Grilled Chicken and Cheesy Garlic Bread with Marinara - Italian Near Me - Fullerton, California

First time trying and went with my friend and we had an amazingly friendly experience! The owner immediately welcomed us, introduced himself, and took the time to show and explain the menu to us as it was our first time dining here. The food came out extremely fresh and honestly for it to be made by order, it came out pretty fast too! He said his wife makes the sauces and they were delicious! My friend got the fettuccine alfredo and I got the pink sauce with penne and grilled chicken and they were both yummy! I appreciated how flavorful the sauce was and the grilled chicken was juicy and tender and not dry like other places tend to be. Again, I can't say enough how nice the owner was but I think all his staff were because I saw his team check in on every table when I was just glancing around. Visit and support just for that. He checked in on us consistently and brought our food and drinks to the table for us (which I don't think he had to, it was just our first time coming so we weren't too sure how the process was) but he did and it was such a kind gesture. The cheesy garlic bread, can never go wrong. A more elevated version of Olive garden breadsticks, so delicious! Cesar salad was basic but not bad, I may try the other salad next. He then brought us some complimentary nutella bombs. (AGAIN, AMAZING SERVICE!) And these were surprisingly fantastic. They were fresh and soft and rich. Can't go wrong with a donut! They've only been open for a couple of months but I truly had a great experience and I hope it succeeds just because of how generous the owner is! Food was tasty and the service was impeccable! I don't write food reviews like ever but his friendly service plus with the tasty quick pasta that'll satisfy any pasta or Italian craving either for a cute casual date or a friend dinner, I had to share my experience here. Give them a try and show them love! read more

Wow! I regret waiting as long as I did to go here! Everything we had was just wonderful, and I love the ability to choose multiple options. There's an incredible amount of flexibility on the menu and it makes it easy for our whole family! read more

Delicious pasta and excellent service with a casual ambiance. The sauces are homemade. Order a signature dish or build your own. Tried seven dishes and everyone's pasta was delicious but the spinach ravioli with pesto sauce was amazing. read more

Pastaphony is a gem of a little eatery. When you walk up it would be easy to assume this is merely a fast food/take out place. Yes this is a place where you can order pasta to go but this is a place where you order and enjoy pasta worthy of any fine dining Italian restaurant. You can order a "build own" pasta dish choosing from the type of pastas, sauces, proteins, toppings and finishes or from a selection of house specialties. Our family of seven ordered seven different pasta dishes, some custom and some specialties and we passed them around so we could all taste variations. Each one was delicious. A favorite of all was the creamy pesto sauce and the custom Alfredo sauce but we would order all of them again. And we will return! What marks Pastaphony apart from most restaurants is the friendliness, hospitality and generosity of the tight knit group of people running Pastaphony. We were made to feel so welcome and treated like family from the moment we walked in. This is a wife/husband operation. The husband was so friendly and charming making sure we were comfortable and understood the menu. This is a small space and eating in can be a challenge for a group our size but we were quickly and graciously accommodated. There is patio dining but on a rainy night not an option. The kitchen is just feet from the front counter which was mere feet from our table. We could watch our meals prepared fresh and interact as with the chef/wife. She was warm, friendly and made sure we enjoyed our dishes. We all shook hands on the way out with smiles all around. I would love to come back on a pleasant evening and sit under the stars enjoying excellent pasta. A great option is to call ahead and pick up on the way home from work. You will not be disappointed. read more

Tried Pastaphony for the first time since hubby and I were undecided and to our surprise we found pasta that's open until late! So glad we stumbled upon this place because we're definitely coming back. First walking in we were welcomed by the owner who's very kind. We decided to create our own pastas and everything was fresh and delicious. We both got pasta with the arrabiatta and the blush sauce (my favorite) and were then introduced by the husband of the owner I believe. They were just extremely kind which made our first time here even better. What was a late craving turned into our new go to spot :) read more

I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo to go. It was delicious! It was a good meal size. I ate half of it and saved the other half for later.

Super sweet people! And great food. Would def come here again. Would love to see more pasta sauce options!

The food was delicious, it's a great concept. The service was amazing, the owner was so sweet and friendly. They have board games too so that's fun if you come with kids and want to keep them entertained while ordering/waiting for food. Will definitely be back. read more

This place was amazing! The owners shake your hand, ask you your name and remembers it even after 2 hours later when you're finishing up asking you how everything was and if we need anything else. The customer service was in another level. The pasta was creamy and full of flavor. We loved the fettuccine with chicken, garlic bread and the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. We sat on their patio on a perfect night. Great place! read more

It took 45 minutes to get a chicken Caesar salad and bowl of pasta. The place was was empty besides 1 person waiting when we arrived just before 6pm on a Friday. And the pasta came out first. When the food finally came it was underwhelming. Asked for lids but those never came and I had to go get that too. Definitely won't be back. read more

Delicious!! U could smell the flavors in the food while u were waiting and everyone was clearing their bowls. The service was higher than most sit down indoor restaurants. The Alfredo and spinach ravioli were the owners top recommendations...top shelf. The Tiramisu was the best I have had with elevated flavors. Stop in, tell a friend, and have a great meal at a reasonable price for outstanding food and service in a charming location. Great spot for a dinner out. read more

New spot that has opened and I'm am quite pleased with my first visit. My fiancé and I split a salad and pasta with some cheesy bread, and everything was fresh and delicious. The bread was soft yet covered generously in cheese. The Italian salad was well balanced with its ingredients. And the Alfredo mushroom pasta was the best, plus they were generous with their chicken portion we had added. Would recommend and look forward to enjoying this spot next time in Downtown Fullerton. read more

found an eyelash extension in my food when i received it. i was mid eating it when i noticed it on my plate. keep in mind, i do not have eyelashes extensions installed and neither does anyone in my family. i'm actually so disgusted by it and couldn't even eat my food. I know a little eyelash extension isn't like a long strand of hair but it's even worse because it was basically on someone's EYEBALL. idk maybe i'm being dramatic or whatever but it's just gross to think about. actually as writing this review as i'm about to throw it , i found another one that was actually 3 lashes in one. what a fun surprise! it's so sad because last time i got food from here it was amazing and didn't have any hair in it so it's just a disappointment to find lashes in my spaghetti. read more

Honestly I really loved both the place & the food, everything apparently is made fresh from ingredients everyday. Owner was really nice & kind as well, hand delivered our food to us at the table! Hand greeted us & explained how his wife was the one who makes the Alfredo sauce. Honestly can't praise her enough, tastes really good 10/10 stars. If only me & my husband didn't almost immediately feel like taking a nap after. Swear the food coma snuck up on us, even gave us free dessert! Such a nice surprise for us, definitely our new pasta spot! read more

I have never wrote a Yelp review but OH MY GOD!!! This pasta was amazing!!! Fettuccine Truffle Mushroom Cream with the added chicken. Listen I only like red sauce but the sauce on this thing was the best pasta I've had in my life. The Shrimp penne pinko was a favorite at my house as well. What I loved most is that the owner was there working the front, shakes your hand and thanks you for your business. Just shows that he takes pride in his establishment. A great way to know if the food is good, the kitchen is literally right there where you can see your food being cooked. This is coming from a guy who does HVAC/R for a living, so I've been inside a lot of kitchens and this one you can trust. Nice, clean, transparent, friendly, prideful, and of course the food is delicious. You just made yourself a lifetime customer. FYI I walked in 11pm and they close at midnight, but were still cranking out top notch quality dishes. You will see me again later this week! read more

My boyfriend and I went here for a last minute dinner date and it was delish!! We got the chicken Alfredo and the Italian salad. The salad came with onions, and because my boyfriend didn't like onions the owner split the salad into two, to make sure that we had a portion of the salad with and without onions. The pasta came out super fresh and tasted delicious. The flavors were great. The owner continued to come out and check on us and make sure that we enjoyed our meal. He even went as far as getting us a complementary dessert at the end, which were the Nutella bombs. Highly recommend, can't wait to be back soon!! read more

Just came here with my girlfriend today and this has to be the some of the best pasta I've had. We were greeted by the most hospitable husband and wife who explained the menu to us and helped us with ordering. Their homemade sauces are incredible and I can't wait to try more. The arrabbiata and truffle sauce are to die for and their proteins are cooked perfectly. My chicken was moist, tender and amazingly seasoned. We will most definitely be back. read more

We found Pastaphony while trying to find a place to grab dinner on a Friday night and we were extremely impressed! Walking in we were immediately greeted by Ibeck (I might be spelling this wrong) who gave us a quick overview on their meals as well as suggestions! He informed us they opened only a few weeks ago and they are family owned! We both got penne with pink sauce and a variety of our favorite free and premium toppings. We grabbed a seat outside since the weather was cool and they turned on the space heaters to make sure we we're comfortable. Incredible service and the food was delicious (entree, cheesy bread and we got to try free dessert). Large portions so we have leftovers to enjoy later. Already told some friends to check this place out so you should check it out too. We will return soon for more yummy pasta. read more
