Amazing neopolitan style pizza! I've never tried this style of pizza before, but it's very thin and chewy. The flavor from just the margherita pizza alone was good! It had a strong basil and fresh taste to it. The vespa was also very delicious! The vespa had garlic, hot honey, pepperoni, cheese. The service was also very fast and food came out very quick! Parking- you can either park on the street or there is an open parking lot behind Fuoco, but I believe you need to pay.

Stopped by Fuoco in Fullerton for lunch today and it was excellent. Very quick service and great pizza. The pizza offerings served here are a very traditional Neapolitan style. I opted for their "Diavola," which has a tomato sauce base, and is topped with spicy salami, mozzarella, basil, and finished with extra virgin olive oil. Salami has a perfect amount of spice and great flavor. Crust was soft and chewy. Overall a very good pizza. Would absolutely recommend the pizza, and will definitely return to try other menu options.

I've been hearing good things about this place and finally got the chance to try it! The pizzas are all 12 inches, and there are so many flavors to choose from. We got the Margherita, Vespa, and Rocco's Pie. All of the pizzas were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. My favorite was the Vespa, the hot honey really made it stand out. For dessert, we got the Nutellamisu. It was good, but I'd definitely recommend sharing it since it's pretty thick and sweet. The servers were nice and gave us great recommendations on which pizzas to try. The inside is cozy, and it smells amazing with the fresh pizzas being cooked.

I liked: Quattro Stagioni Black Truffle The Quattro Stagioni is a pizza folded into four sections with prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato sauce, and ricotta. It's an interesting shape that makes it stand out right away. Flavor-wise it's tasty and the ingredients feel fresh, though the ricotta is pretty strong and I wish there was a bit more red sauce overall. The arugula on top oddly makes the whole thing feel almost healthy. Solid pizza but not one I'm rushing back for. The Black Truffle pizza is decent but very oily. The truffle flavor also isn't very pronounced, which is a bit disappointing considering it's the main selling point. It's fine as a pizza, just not particularly memorable. The interior feels like a very typical pizzeria setup and the service is pretty average. They mostly left us alone throughout the meal, which isn't bad but also didn't feel especially attentive. The overall experience really leans into the "authentic Italian pizzeria" vibe, and the pricing definitely reflects that. Normally I'm okay paying a premium for pizza I love, but in this case the food didn't quite hit that level for me.

I absolutely LOVED Fuoco! The salad and both pizzas we ordered between the three of us were amazing. The server was very nice and helpful too, as a couple of us had dietary restrictions (vegetarian), so he talked us through the menu. The place is fairly large with two entrances; one on the main street Harbor Blvd, and one in the back. I found parking on the adjacent street, and my friends parked in the back parking area. They can accommodate small and large parties. I've been to Italy and had Italian pizza and this was as good! A must come if you're in the Fullerton area. Situated in downtown Fullerton.

Finally tried this place. Love wood fired pizzas. Service was very attentive. The restaurant is pretty large to accommodate. We only had to wait 20 min on a Friday evening at 8pm. The pizzas are very unique. There were too many options to choose from which made it hard! We opted for the Calzone and the Vespi. The calzone was the most unique version I've ever seen. Normally it's folded in half like a giant hand pie. This one was in the shape of a pizza and a light sauce on top. The toppings were in center. My vespi came with no sauce and I substituted goat cheese for ricotta. It was garlicky and delicious. I would say I couldn't taste the hot honey it said it had. But it was so different not having sauce as the base layer. It brought out all the flavors of the toppings more. Can we talk about the spumoni bomba!! MUST!!! It's so so good!! Would definitely come back to try other pizzas.

Dear Yelp Community, Visited for the first time this month (recommended by an Italian). Excellent pizza. I enjoyed the appetizer with ricotta and truffle. Well wishes. Sincerely, Anna

This is one of the best neopolitan pizzas I've had the pleasure of trying. They have so many different options here. Really enjoyed their pistachio topping pizza and their calabrese? Pizza. So dang gooood.

An absolute hidden gem for authentic Italian pizza. I came here because I was invited by an Italian friend who said this tastes just like the homeland. The pizza crust is perfectly light and crisp, the sauce tastes fresh and simple, and every ingredient feels thoughtfully chosen. It's clear this place stays true to Italian tradition, no shortcuts, just amazing pizza done right. The decor is pretty cool too.

They certainly don't need another positive review, but I'm gonna give them one anyway. Great service, excellent food, and reasonable prices. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

Hub & I are pizza fanatics and have been on the hunt to find authentic pizza, similar to what we had in Italy. Fuoco fulfilled ALL expectations and is one of our top 3 pizza places in OC. We have dined in and ordered take out, both pleasant experiences with no issues. For dine in, they are VERY popular so arrive earlier to account for wait times. I don't believe they take reservations for small parties. For phone orders, super convenient for to-go! Pizzas were made within 30min, you stop by at the estimated pickup time, pay, and BAM they have it ready to go. Our favorite pizzas are Vespa (for goat cheese lovers) & Margherita. Ingredients are SO fresh and the tomato sauce is one of the best I've ever had (excluding Italy lol). Also, just get the Nutellamisu. It's worth your cheat day. You're already eating top tier pizza, why not end dinner on the perfect note with a top tier dessert?! Order anything off their menu and I'm sure you will be satisfied and tastebuds will be happy. Their staff is also uber friendly and SO NICE, considering they're probably super busy every night. Can't recommend this place enough & we always look forward to our next visit!!

Fuoco's is located in Old Downtown Fullerton, Fuoco's is bringing the highest level of pizza Neapolitana that you can get, outside of Italy. I first went here before I was on yelp in 2019 and have been telling/sending everyone here. With multiple parking lots around, there should be plenty of parking. The service is always top notch! The ambiance is elevated pizza spot. They also have a nice bar in the back. It's awesome that everyone can see the Stefano Ferrara, while they are cooking! Fuoco's is Certified Napoletana! They have to follow the rules from Naples! 00 Flour for double, the olive oil, the tomatoes, the cheese! The dough ends up being thin with fluffy crust. All with a salty, Smokey, woody, chewy bite! The cheese is beautiful, all of them. Fresh when needed and aged when needed. Quattro Formaggi is my Favorite, love that strong, tangy, semi stinky, rich, Gorgonzola, on it. I love to have San Pellegrino sodas with pizza, delicious. After I had a tiramisu with a cappuccino. The tiramisu was fluffy, sweet, rich, creamy, roasted coffee, chocolatey deliciousness. Heaven! The cappuccino was delicious, would've liked a little more richness, plus, they need to have some organic raw sugar, as an option. Scrub the old school sugar. *Overall, Fuoco's is the Best Pizza in that WHOLE AREA, hands down. Two more great visits this last time*

The one waitress was on her phone when we walked in and seemed kind of bothered that we were interrupting. The location is kind of small so parties of 4+ might have an issue with seating. They didn't have a sampler "TOUR" like other restaurants, and I decided to go with the Fettucine Alfredo with Chicken, Side Meatballs and side salad. This is when the restaurant started getting busy. The salad arrived was less than to be desired and there was barely any dressing. She then dropped off the Meatballs that were cold and I asked to please send them back. Needless to say I was becoming slightly agitated due to being hungry. Then my main dish ordered was not Chicken Alfredo. The other people at my table said that their dishes were amazing. I was like, ill believe it when it comes. I am happy to say that when the dish arrived it was everything that I wanted, and she brought back the meatballs that were warm and her attitude seemed to improve as things got busier and the experience finished very well. Skip the salad and go straight for the main entree and you will not lose.

The food is consistently tasty and plentiful. I've tried the pastas but my go to meal is a big bowl of Minestrone soup, salad with Italian dressing and to die for garlic bread. I try to eat more plant based, and the soup is chock full of delicious vegetables - I think Vinny said eighteen different kinds - and just enough ditalini pasta to satisfy my pasta craving without blowing my diet. There's a hint of hotness to it, just enough to set it apart from the chain restaurants. I don't like vegetables very much, but I know they are really good for me, so Vinny's Minestrone was a terrific find. For my cheat day, about once a month I splurge on Patsy's Tiramisu. I think she said the recipe came from Vinny's Mom. It is worth every decadent calorie. The fluffy whipped cream is light yet rich, sweet but not too sweet, just the perfect amount of wonderfulness that dessert should be, and sadly, often isn't. Finally, I have to mention the people that work there. I don't know exactly what goes on in the kitchen, but my food is always fast, abundant, and hot - unless it's supposed to be cold. I'll repeat the word delicious here, because it is. So Vinny and his kitchen team are A+. The servers are great. Leti and Laurie greet me by name, with big smiles. They remember my preferences. They are never too busy to call out thank-you and have a great day when I leave. Patsy, the owner, is often on the floor serving, too, and she has gone out of her way to check-in with me and ask after my well-being. I appreciate their kindness, which is ever-present during slow, and busy times of the day. Vinny's is not fancy, but it's warm and homey, and yes, here's that word again: delicious. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The salmon crudo was good, not blown away, but the caprese. Mmm! It came in a ponzu sauce and was this beautiful blend between Italian and Japanese flavors. So good. For our mains, my husband got the Seafood mafaldine and I opted for the Mala lamb pizza. This was such a unique pizza flavor, the hot honey sauce it came with tasted like a spicy, sweet curry and the pizza itself was delicious. Crispy crust, a little bit of cilantro for freshness. So good. To top it all off, we got the Blueberry pavlova and hazelnut cake. Both of these were incredibly indulgent and absolutely worth it. I think we were full for a whole day off this meal.
