Wow!! I loved the mushroom pasta and the marinara pasta both veggie no meat. So bomb! Creamy sauce that is buttery on the alfredo and the tomatoe one is full of flavor. The service here is like no other I love the couple who run it, so attentive and kind. Pasta is soo good def going anytime I'm in the area. I like that its in downtown because its a nice area to walk around. Small space inside and outdoor seating I would recommend the truffle mushroom one it is A+++++ ‍ read more

Listen, the food is amazing but the care and attention from employees took to beyond! It's outdoor seating and it was a beautiful day to enjoy. They had coloring pages, board games and balloons for the kids to enjoy. Now the food, the fettuccine mushroom Alfredo, hands down the best pasta I've ever had. We also tried the chicken Alfredo, chicken parm, and of course, spaghetti and meatballs. All amazing. The portions were a great size and we all took leftovers. I really love the fact that's it truly feels family friendly. We also got the cheese bread stick and the cheese pull did not disappoint! The owner introduced himself and did his best to get to know us. I was very surprised at how homey this place feels despite its location in busy downtown. Dessert was great. We tried all three available desserts and we were given coffee and tea options to accompany it. My favorite was the tiramisu but of course my son loved the Nutella pastries. My partner enjoyed the cannoli and shared it reminded him of a choco taco. Definitely, feels like there's something for everyone here! We will be back! read more

We came here on a whim after one of the restaurants we were headed to was closed but hadn't updated their business hours online. Let me just say I am so glad it was closed and we got to try the Pastaphony. Yes you do need to pay for parking just like most of the area, however they are worth it. The service was Immaculate. I had grabbed a few paper menus to bring to my table since it was our first time going. The owner came out and introduced himself and was friendly we had some questions about the menu and he was more than happy to help. I got better service here than I have at more expensive establishments. My mom got the spinach cheese ravioli signature dish and loved it and this woman is picky. My boyfriend got the spaghetti chicken Parmesan and polished it off. My brother got the Penne Arrabbiata and added sausage to it and he really liked it and he can be hard to impress sometimes. I got the chicken fettuccini Alfredo and added mushrooms and it was bomb. All the pastas had plenty of sauce which is nice for a change to not have to request extra sauce. The garlic cheese bread was just ok and would probably pass on if next time. The tiramisu we all collectively agreed was really good. This place is on point. And worth a try. We will definitely be back. read more

Such a great little pasta spot! My friend and I tried Pastaphony for lunch and loved it! The portions were generous, and the owner was so warm and hospitable. They even had outdoor checkers, which was perfect for keeping my nephew entertained while we enjoyed our lunch. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu! Highly recommend giving this place a try. read more

Newest late night build your own pasta restaurant here at Downtown Fullerton...did I mention it's open late night?! If you're a late eater like me you know the biggest problem we have in finding anything remotely healthy or hearty that is not fast food or fried. Upon first glance at the take out box you think this would not fill you up but don't be fooled this is a whole dish comparable to any Italian restaurant here downtown. Pasta was cooked perfect, al dente, and rich hearty sauce. The owner here is genuinely a nice guy, went out of his way to shake my hand and get to know my name, such a genuine gesture. Definitely give this place a try your next visit in town! read more

It was our first time here. Food was delicious. Service was very good, super friendly and caring. The ambience was peaceful yet fun. There's a giant connect the dots to play, there's plants, music, and lights. We will definitely be back. My daughters ordered chicken Alfredo, they loved it. It's big portions so keep that in mind for kids. But hey they have leftovers for tomorrow. My husband and I created our own pasta. Both delicious! I got cheese tortellini with pesto sauce and cherry tomatoes. My husband made his own spaghetti. It's one thing to eat yummy fresh pasta, but having such great customer service enables it even better! I'm assuming the man was the owner. Next time I will ask for his name. Thank you for the Nutella bombs! read more

wanted to hate this place. I even drafted a negative Yelp review before my food arrived. I spent over $28 for a bowl of pasta at a small takeout spot served on a plastic tray. I thought I overpaid and had instant buyer's remorse. My total came out to about $33 with a 15 percent tip after adding chicken parm to the fettuccine Alfredo with truffle, parmesan, and parsley. At that price, I kept thinking I could have ordered takeout from The Cheesecake Factory and at least gotten bread and butter. Then I took the first bite. I immediately deleted my draft review and started over. The pasta was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The truffle and parmesan worked well together, and the chicken parm added a good amount of protein and texture. It ended up tasting far better than I expected from a quick counter spot. The restaurant itself is small but feels intimate and welcoming. Customer service stood out the most. You get greeted right away. The server walks up, shakes your hand, and thanks you for supporting their small business. That level of appreciation felt genuine and made the experience memorable. I walked in ready to complain about the price. I walked out impressed with the food and the hospitality. read more

I absolutely love this spot good food, great owners and a fun atmosphere the best spot to come for quick late night bite So kid friendly or a date night. I love coming here before the movies. Favorite bites are the tiramisu house made and of course the cheese bread is a must!!!! But the biggest reason to come to pasta phony is to support the Lovely family that owns it! read more

The staff here are so nice and put a lot of care into the food they make. They made my group feel so welcomed. It just has an outdoor seating area, so it's small but it's well shaded and a good place for a good bite. I tried their two signature pastas, the bacon spaghetti and truffle mushroom and both were delicious! I'd say the truffle mushroom was the better one. Really good pasta place and great staff! read more

Had a very creepy and uncomfortable experience. This guy kept coming to our table and talking to us when we just wanted to be left alone. He also asked to hold our baby girl while we ate which made us extremely uncomfortable and we got up and left immediately!!!! Also the pasta was very regular I can make that at home and was way too expensive for what we got. WONT BE RETURNING. Weirdos read more

Pastaphony - Italian Near Me - Fullerton, California

The thing about Fullerton is I have to CONSTANTLY be checking this app to see what new options I have when it comes to coffee, lunch, dinner. Came home from Hollywood late and was about to hit up one of the regular fast food chains, but decided to do a Yelp search for late dinner options and Pastaphony appeared in my search. They are open until midnight which is amazing! I noticed one of my other friends on Yelp, Laura N was also checked in here so I was confident this was going to be a good choice and I'm happy to report IT WAS! Ordered via their website around 9:30 pm on Monday, January 19th. I went with the fettuccine truffle mushroom cream and added basil & spinach at no additional cost. The order was scheduled to be ready by 9:50 pm. Waited around in my car until 9:50 pm then walked up to the location. Outside it's brightly lit and they have seating and a sectioned off outdoor area. Inside it's just the register and pick-up counter. There were 2 gentleman inside, one must have been the owner/chef and the cook in the back. My order was packed up with my receipt out front and the chef handed it to me personally and thanked me for stopping by. I live close by and was able to enjoy it within five minutes and it was so good! The cream was not liquidy and it didn't feel or taste too heavy, it was just right and the flavor was delicious! The mushrooms tasted fresh and the spinach and basil added some fresh flavor. The only thing I would've done differently was add chicken, but other than that, it was the perfect late dinner. 2026 I'm trying to make a conscience effort to try more small business eateries instead of the large fast food chains and so far it's paying off! If you're hungry in Fullerton and looking for a different option for dinner, Pastaphony is the place! read more

My friend and I had the pleasure of having dinner here recently. We were excited to try some place new and were impressed by all of the great reviews so we gave it a try. WOW!!! The reviews were spot on. This restaurant was perfect. It's a very casual DIY pasta place so we were ready to taste traditional flavors. But, we were blown away! This husband and wife team have created a special dining experience with amazing service and fresh sauces and ingredient combinations. You will only get mouth watering meals served with pride and gratitude here. Try it tonight and make sure you say Teşekkür ederim to your hosts!!!! :) read more

We tried Pastaphony for the first time and they did not disappoint. We created 2 build your own pastas. The first was Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and Spinach Ravioli with Alfredo Sauce, cherry tomatoes and shaved parmesean. The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. The seating is outside seating only, and the umbrellas to block out the sun were definitely a plus. Our food was so good and fresh. I could taste the quality in every single bite. I would definitely come back again! read more

Came here on a whim and apparently it only opened four weeks ago. We got pesto fettuccine, pasta with red sauce, chicken Parmesan, and then my youngest daughter who's a very picky eater just got regular spaghetti with Parmesan cheese. The service, as soon as I walked in I was grated and made to feel like I was the only person in the world... I mean it was around 9pm so not many people out... We were playing PokémonGO... I have not a bad thing to say about the staff (I was told it was the "owner" and her husband.. Heh) they were very accommodating... The place was decorated for valentine's day and looked great.. We sat outside... As they are still working on the interior... The food... OMG.. The pasta was done damn near perfect... And the sauce was amazing... We went out of town the next night so I have not had a chance to go back yet... It will be almost the 1st stop when we get home... 11 out of 10 stars read more

I originally posted a negative review due to them being closed during "open hours". The manager reached out to explain the issue was with plumbing and just a bad placement on the sign that notified customers. They went beyond to correct the situation. Craving pasta after a long day at school and found this place while looking around. They're pretty new, but I decided to try it since they're open late (which is perfect because my classes end late and most pasta spots are already closed). We enjoyed a celebratory family dinner for my daughter's High School graduation at Pastaphony Fullerton. The food was DELICIOUS!! Not only do they offer make-your-own pasta bowls, but they also offer "signature dishes." Our party enjoyed salad, garlic bread, cheesy garlic bread, spinach and cheese ravioli with pesto sauce, spaghetti marinara, rotini with pink sauce, and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was just so good! 10/10 read more

I ordered the spinach cheese ravioli with grilled chicken. The ravioli was flavorful and the chicken was very tender. Next time I may order the ravioli with little or no sauce to savor the special blend of the spinach and cheese. There are chalk drawings on the ground and a giant tic tac toe so you know children are having a great time eating while playing outdoors. The owners are very attentive and friendly, the music is soothing, and the patio is clean, welcoming, and bright. Good choice picking Pastaphony and trying it for the first time. I'll be back, might just have to bring the grands with me. read more

My friends and I were looking for a place to eat after hanging out downtown and came to Pastaphony. What can I say? The food was excellent. I had the spinach cheese ravioli with spicy marinara, onions, basil, garlic and meatballs. Legendary. The cheesy garlic breads: amazing. The service was excellent. The owner helped me craft the pasta I wanted and he gave attention to each of us from start to finish. Please give this place a try because it's 10/10! read more

I really wanted to like this place as the reviews were promising and the owner was super kind. However it was quite expensive and the food was very mid tier. I asked for penne and the cook made fettuccine and the owner apologized which was fine but the $11 garlic bread was not very good and the pasta was not very good. The worst part is me, my partner & my friend all got sick a few hours after eating here & felt very nauseous. Personally would not go back but the owner is very kind so I hope he takes this constructive criticism and continues to improve. read more

The only other Italian spot that was open late on New Year's Day. My fiancé and I came in and were kindly greeted by staff. I believe it is a family owned business, ran by a wife and husband. They went through the whole menu with us. We were told the Alfredo sauce is made in-house and that we can build our own pasta. We enjoy going to a spot where you can adjust and add ingredients to your liking, so this was the perfect place to be. The staff is so attentive and very friendly, almost like you were invited into someone's home as a guest. They want to make sure you are having a great time with even greater food. They just opened and we told them that we'd be coming back regularly after our first visit. Definitely give them a try! read more

One of the most underrated pasta spots in Fullerton. I come here every other week! The service is always top tier, extremely friendly staff and they always make you feel welcome. Pretty good amount of seating and there are cute lights in the outdoor seating. It's a casual pasta spot which is nice since many pasta spots are more sit down restaurants--had a super cozy and homemade type of vibe. I'm on a mission to try every item they have on their menu... all of their sauces are very flavorful and they give big portions. The owner told us that they give a big enough portion so trust you're able to get two meals out of it. Overall 10/10 spot, highly recommend!! read more
