This will be my first and last visit to the Pleasanton location. When I went in, said hi, and asked who I believed to be the manager if the workstations have Microsoft Word, she didn't even greet me and just said, "I don't know. You can just go to the workstation and see". How do you not know if Microsoft Word is on there? You work here and should know... I went to the workstation section and saw that one workstation was empty. But then I glanced at some folders that I could use to put my documents in. I decided to take a minute or so to take a look. But you know what? I shouldn't have done that and someone else took my spot, as there was another customer who was already using the workstation. I waited for either of them to finish, and even the alarm sounded for the other customer to finish their session and get off. No employee came to tell them to let me use the station. I went to that same manager and I asked her if that alarm was to let people know that the session was over. She said yes. I then asked her if you could tell the customer to let me use the workstation, and she didn't even want to make the customer accountable and stop using the workstation to give me a little bit of time to get my work done, so she said, "Unfortunately, you would have to wait until the customer to finish what they were doing for you to be next". After that, I waited a couple more minutes for that customer I initially waited on to finish, but that one still wasn't done. I left and will never come back. However, my visit at my usual FedEx Office location was a WHOLE lot better! Workstations were clear the whole time, and I got my document printed very quickly! Just don't go to the one in Pleasanton unless you want to wait 30+ minutes to get something quick done.

Here's what happened, I had a return, pre-paid label for a pair of Bose headphones going directly back to Bose, even brought my own box and packing materials in the hope of easing the return process. They emailed me the return label so when I asked to print it off he directed me towards the computer by the door. To use the computer it required a credit card, which was I thought was odd, but okay whatever. Swiped my card, printed off my label (in black and white) which cost $0.50. Okay fine, paying for the paper/ink, whatever. What I didn't see is they charge $3.50 for five minutes of use of the computer even though I was on it a grand total of less than 20 seconds. $3.50 for five minutes? Let alone ANY money to use the computer in the first place? Hey ownership, how much pleasure do you derive from reading reviews like this one about you seem to enjoy nothing more than squeezing every nickel you possibly can from each transaction? Wake up, you're in the customer service business, maybe take time away from counting your nickels and learn how to provide it. Maybe, just maybe, those nickels will turn into dollars. Given my experience however, to say I'm less than confident in your ability to do so is probably the understement of the millennium.

I asked and the lady who took my paper and said it was $2 while she was doing the printing. I said whatever, it's printed and I wanna get out of there. She asks me to pay and says it's $2.00 but minimum on any cards is $1.25 or something ridiculous like that. I said are you joking? She said no. I said no thanks, I'll cancel this transaction. And the manager lady that was assisting the front desk person decided to yell at me and that I MUST pay because she printed the sheets out. I told her to never raise her voice at me and I pointed out that the documents were still in her hand. She continued to be rude and rambling one about how dare I make her waste ink. I just walked out. Pretty sure charging merchant fees for a debit transaction is federally illegal btw. My experience there was so bad that I rather drive 15 mins and go to the FedEx in West Dublin at 5:00 pm traffic hour than to go to this shop that's literally down the street from me.
