I got such great support, help and assistance from all three employees in the UPS store, they even talked to Amazon on my behalf to make sure Amazon understood that I was in the store and stuck. They made sure I wouldn't need to come the next day with the ottoman, and they made sure I was getting the full refund. They are a very patient, helpful and efficient team. THANK YOU!

Totally my fault for tapping my card without reviewing the charges. Lesson learned for me. But what a scam - $32 for bubble wrap. I'll do all my own boxing and packing from now on. This was an interesting experience to say the very least. This is a very small UPS store in a…read morelittle plaza. When I initially walked in, there was literally one lady ahead of me. Next thing I knew a couple came in and this other staff member came out to help. He looks at me asks what I needed and then said that he can't do that. So I have to wait for the employee that's currently helping another individual. Unfortunately for me, the lady in front of me took a very long time. In that time, the line backed all the way out the door. I waited a good 30 minutes before I was helped. My process took probably about 5 minutes. The young lady that was helping me was friendly enough. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this definitely wasn't it. I think because they are such a small store. They get very busy very quickly, and there really isn't any room for anyone to stand so the line backs up out the door. And unfortunately, when one customer brings in 30 packages to send back, it makes it difficult and a longer wait time for everyone else. You can type in most of the paperwork ahead of time via Department of State's forms (complete and print). Schedule an appointment for a 30-min slot at this USPs and voila, all done. Dean was super friendly and especially helpful. Some tips: 1. You need to submit both the original birth certificate and photocopy. The US State Dept will mail the original back to you after the passport. 2. Both parents need to show drivers license, and you need to submit photocopies of both front and back. 3. Bring personal checks for the passport fee ($100). For the USPS fee ($35) they take cash, credit card, and check. 4. Lastly, and very important is that there is no onsite restroom. If your toddler really needs to go, they have super clean bathrooms in the lobby of Rock Church next door. We were extremely lucky it was open on a Saturday morning with lots of people.

Today, I made sure to emphasize that this package contained important wedding film photos and needed to be handled carefully. The employee assured me, saying "I got you," but then simply placed the rolls on the metal table next to the box. Even after 25 minutes, while I was shopping for office supplies, the rolls were STILL left out in the open. When I brought it up to another employee and explained the previous incident, my concerns were ignored. I drop off mail and do certified mail here nearly every day for business purposes, and every day the staff is friendly, cheerful, attentive, and SO kind! It is a joy to do business here. This is a great, one of a kind group of people. I've been to post offices where the staff was uncommunicative, unhelpful, and uninterested. These places made it uncomfortable for me to even want to post packages. Danville Community-- you have no idea how good you have it. Keep up the hard work and the wonderful attitudes employees! There were no employees at the front, but I could clearly hear staff talking in the back. I repeatedly pressed the customer service bell, but no one responded. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I finally called out and asked if anyone was there and why no one was coming to the front to help customers. A female employee responded from the back and said that they close the doors at 4:30 PM. I explained that I had been there since 4:20 PM, continuously pressing the bell, and no one had come to assist me. This experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I hope management is aware of how customers are being treated at this location. Very disappointing service, and I will not be returning.
