I had a disappointing experience at this UPS Store location. An employee named Arman refused to help me with my Amazon return while standing there doing nothing. Instead, he directed me to use the self-service option. When I politely asked why he wouldn't assist, he responded by saying that I "could have said no" to him and that "people tell him no all the time." That response came across as unprofessional and dismissive. It's unfortunate because the owners of this location have always seemed very nice and professional. However, this interaction reflects poorly on the customer experience and suggests a bad hiring decision. read more

I never had an issue here with my Amazon returns, very smooth and seamless! The lines could get along but avoid lunchtime. The only issue I did have was with their fingerprinting service, which I needed for the school district in order to volunteer at my kids school. The fingerprints did not render properly so I had to come back twice, and eventually they were rejected by the vetting agency. I ended up going to Postal Annex across the street to get it done and it was accepted from there. Aside from this I did not have any other issues from this place! read more

Since the new owners have taken over the stores prices have escalated and they refuse to offer services, such as UPS ground shipping. Its a financial strategy on their end so they can make more money per shipment. Dont believe a word they say when they tell you they can't send something, like UPS ground shipping to Los Angeles. They'look air ship anything $$$ Do your research and find another UPS store. I did, and found one that would ship as I needed. read more

I thought it would be important to let others know how much I rely on this store and their services to run both my personal life with an elderly mother of 93 years and my business of 20 years. Each time I come into the store, I am treated exactly how I would expect to be treated as a valued customer and they just can't do enough to help! The UPS Store - Package Return - Shipping Centers Near Me - Danville, California

I have lived in this town since before this shopping center was built. I have shipped with this facility ever since it first opened its doors. The current management and employees at this location are an absolute joke. They practice unscrupulous and tricky behavior to inflate shipping costs. Today for example, I was in to ship a package. I knew in advance what the cost should be by first checking on line via dimensions and weight. The teller in the store quoted me a cost over twice what it should have been. I quizzed her on how she arrived at that valuation. I discover she doubled the weight. She claimed she calculated the weight as the scale dictated. WRONG. She was trying to gaslight me and I had to make her read the digital scale out load before she would acknowledge her indiscretion. A customer should never have to go through such efforts to ship a package. It never use to be like this here, but current owner/operators/employees here are filth. If it was a one time mistake, I might bite my tongue, but this has been multiple times now. Not to mention last year when UPS destroyed a valuable package of mine here; I had a couple thousand dollar Insurance claim to make. When I asked about protocol here for summiting my claim I was meet this resistance from the owner in refusing to process the insurance claim, she went so far as to have police come and make me leave citing trespassing. Absolutely disgusting business practice here. I ship lot and have an account with UPS, this store is close to where I live and work, it is conveniently located to me so I keep going back. But I hate having to go there. Sleazy operation. Watch them carefully. read more

I've been here a few times and usually haven't had any issues. However, on a recent visit, I tried to do an Amazon return and the lady working at the front (whom I believe to be the owner) was rude, unhelpful and had a bad attitude for no reason (considering that I was polite and respectful to her). This location is my go-to. The folks that work here are very nice, helpful, and patient with my many Amazon returns. I've gotten live scan finger printing here. Service was immediate and the clearance went through very quickly. There's never much of a wait, even on weekends, and they are very welcoming. read more

Since this business has changed ownership the customer service is terrible. I had an Amazon package to return. It didn't have the QR code. The young woman on Saturday Jan 24 couldn't even manage to allow me to send her the return label via e mail so she could print it out. This place does ZERO to accommodate customers. This is the best UPS Store in the Bay Area! I've stopped by this location several times while in the area and have done a few Amazon / UPS drop-offs. I even had a few documents notarized here. The owner Seema and her staff here are friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Don't be discouraged if you see a long line, they are quick here. The store is clean, neat, and well-organized. If you're looking for a "PO Box", they also rent out mailboxes with a "street address" here. Their prices for shredding documents and copies are reasonable and competitive. This UPS Store is located at the corner of Crow Canyon Road and Camino Tassajara, diagonal from Blackhawk Plaza and across the street from the Safeway plaza. It shares the same parking lot as McDonalds and is on the same corner as Starbucks and Chevron. There's plenty of parking in the private lot shared with several restaurants and establishments. read more

I never thought I'd ever write a review on yelp for ups. Typically, I only write yelp reviews for restaurants and they're typically very positive. But today was odd.. I have never countered a rude employee at this location - until today. Now, I'm not writing this just to get a response having you defend this worker. I was there and saw how she spoke to me. I walk in carrying a massive box to drop off half of my USPS items and UPS items to be scanned in. Neema gave me a snarly look and with a very rude tone in her voice said "OH ARE THOSE ALL FOR USPS?" I said no just a few and normally leave them here in this corner. She then rolled her eyes and gave me a glare. It's actually hard to describe exactly how she acted but I would never come on yelp to write a negative review if I didn't feel affected by it. I then decided it wasn't worth it to leave my items there because I did not trust her anymore. I ended up picking up them up and dropping them off at USPS. (Such a waste otherwise my time) I am appalled at the service I received. Mind you, there was 2 people working and not one offered to help carry in the box or out the box when they saw how large it was. Idk. All I know, is I'll NEVER go in the afternoon again. The morning employees are SO NICE. There's one woman who's always there in the mornings and is SO friendly. That is why I left 3 stars because of HER. I wish I knew her name because she deserves a raise. read more

I used their service to send a passport to my son, and UPS placed it in the correct location, but we still couldn't find it at first. I contacted the store and Haresh immediately stepped in to help. He traced the driver and identified exactly where the package had been left. Haresh followed up with me every day for several days, keeping me updated on the progress with the UPS hub. After verifying the details with the driver, we were finally able to locate the package. Haresh and the entire store team did an outstanding job. Without his persistence and support, I would have been lost. I strongly recommend their service! read more

Misogynistic UPS store. I, a woman, showed up to return an item and was told by the employees that they were closed and couldn't help me because their systems were down; they closed at 3pm and I got there at 3pm. The employees were still inside the store. While sitting on my vehicle looking for another UPS store, a man shows up to the store with 2 boxes to return. One employee unlocked the door for the man and allowed him in. The employee saw me watching, and she came to my vehicle and told me that since they are helping the man and turning on the system for him they would help me read more

As you can see from my other reviews, I'm not a big fan of UPS shipping. However, this store is fabulous! The customer service goes above and beyond. Recently had to ship a return package to Lululemon. The store manager found the right envelope and took the package even though it was prepaid US mail not UPS. They have also provided last minute notary service and have shipped numerous prior returns. A+ read more

Been coming here for years to drop off packages. Sometimes I buy the box there etc. Today I went in meeting a box for my items into my surprise. They charge me $5.50 for tape and five dollars for packing it for me, which really was only her putting it inside the box and taking it was nothing else that was needed. So in total they overcharge me and $11. I will never come back to this establishment again, so be aware on who's there and when I asked a question of the person helping me, the gentlemen older gentleman, they're stepped into answer, and his tone was much to be desired. This location really needs to get an award from UPS Headoffice, as well as train all the other branches staff. The staff here are super nice, courteous, and will go above and beyond to help you. went here before visiting a client to see if they did notary service. When I walked in someone was on the phone and I had to wait for them to get off the phone to ask my question which was do you do notary service? Walked in with the client and they said the next notary person comes in at 4:30 What an inconvenience! now on our way to another UPS location that has an all day notary. You would expect from a UPS store to have a person scheduled all day to do notary. I'm glad that I have a client that knows that area well to think of other options on on the spot. read more

I have been to this UPS store MANY times over the years. There was a lady who worked there that was always friendly and nice, but I wonder if it is possibly under new ownership because I had a terrible experience there today. I went to mail a small lightweight padded envelope and they told me it would be $55! I laughed and said that I was in no rush to get it there, but they told me that was the price for regular shipping because the package was "irregular." It was a 6inch by 9 inch padded envelope with candy inside it?? I have since consulted other UPS employees who told me my envelope is not considered irregular. The manager also told me $55 was the only price and he was rude and condescending. I felt as if they were trying to rip me off and I just walked back out with my package. I'm going to have to find another location to visit as I don't think I'll be going back any time soon! The whole experience left me feeling like something was really off. read more
