I'm here weekly to drop off packages, send faxes and have even used the notary services. Service is always friendly and prompt.

We have used Mail Boxes 580 for over 12 years now. Art, the previous owner was always very pleasant to deal with and though our conversations always led to golf or real estate, Art always took the time to talk. So very sad to hear that he had sold his business. Fast forward to today.... We had a big problem with our bank, and without going into full detail of the stressful situation we were in, it involved Mail Boxes 580 because we were supposed to receive something there. Our main concern was because they were under new management and still in transition, they were operating in limited hours and we haven't yet built a relationship. When we initially went in, we met Terri, the new owner. We explained our situation and what was going on and he immediately went to bat for us and alleviated all our fears, stress and concerns. He assured us that he would be on it and that he would communicate our situation to his wife Denise who would be there the next day, and also Donna who also works there. Sure enough, when we returned the next day to check, we met Denise and she was fully aware of our situation and was keeping watch for what we were expecting. We came back the next day, and met Donna, who was also fully aware of our situation and was also keeping watch. During the numerous times we went in to check, we were always assured that they were aware of our situation and that they were on the lookout for what we were expecting. There definitely was great communication between the three of them, and each time we went in, they provided us with so much hand-holding, it was incredible. Not only did we feel they truly empathized with our situation, but they were sincere in helping us by keeping an eye out for what we were expecting by telling us exactly when they receive mail, etc. They have actually sorted mail in front of us, something that they didn't have to do, but they saw our stress level, so they switched things around for us. I come here to drop of my packages for my eBay business, and I have never had a negative experience. I am a regular, and the employees are always cheerful, friendly, and helpful. They accept FedEx, UPS, and USPS. There is never a line, and dropping off my stuff takes 30 seconds at most. Very convenient and amazing staff. read more

This is the gem in my neighborhood where you can drop off your fedex/ups/usps packages. I have been using this place for my packages for 4 years and never disappointed. People who complain about this place probably are named Karen who like to speak to your manager lol. read more

It's helpful that they accept USPS, FedEx & UPS packages but sometimes they're not very friendly. I've tried calling a couple of times and no one answered either time. They don't give you drop off receipts but it's convenient when you have multiple packages to drop off for different shippers. read more

Mailed a "letter" here via USPS "express mail" international to Australia. According to their tracking tje package is still in the. US 2 weeks later....is there no recourse ...this cost over $60 ... I was expecting the equivalent of "air mail"... read more

I absolutely loved working with Art. He was always easy to deal with and I am looking forward to dealing with the new management. The only issue I have had is that there is no way to get ahold of anyone. Even now nobody answers the phone. Would really appreciate that one aspect. I had a piece of art in glass to ship to Washington and chose Mailboxes580 because they are independently owned (rather than a franchise) and showed me how they would package the art to prevent breakage/damage. The co-owner Terre sent me photos of how the art was packed tight in styrofoam peanuts and styrofoam frame. The shipment arrived as promised in great condition. MailBoxes 580 even tracked the shipment to make sure it arrived. I will use this shop for all my shipping needs. Nice people and great work!! read more

I have only come here for UPS and FedEx drop-offs and they have been awesome. I just learned today that they provide email receipt for UPS drop-offs and paper receipt for FedEx. I will keep coming back for the one stop shop, and hope their business keeps thriving! read more

I had quite an experience yesterday with Art who runs Mailboxes 580. He seems like a nice guy and I never had problems before when dropping off packages to be mailed. The problem I found is when you need him to do the packaging before shipment. Long story short he told me the price to package 2 x14 inch painted vases and ship to Florida would be around $200. I thought this was high but agreed to it. He said it would take about an hour to pack and asked if I wanted to stay and wait or leave and he will call me to update me in an hour or so. He finally called back over five hours later and informed me the packing was complete and I owed $353.98! I told him I thought he was a rip-off and would let people know on Yelp and BBB. I've been renting a box here for about 7 years, and it's been a positive experience all along. Art made it feel like a little midday version of Cheers, where he and Donna knew me and my kids and they always greeted me with a smile and so much warmth. Art will be so missed. At the same time, the new owners, Denise and Terry, are incredible- the NICEST people you'll ever meet. They are remodeling the space and modernizing the shipping system and I just couldn't be more impressed with them. Shipping and receiving packages is such an everyday part of life now, and you can go to the post office or UPS store, or you can come here and make a mundane part of life actually joyful and fun because you get to see your friends and support their small business. I will never do business in this store again. Two weeks ago I needed to fax some documents. I went up to the counter and the person working there seemed surprised that I wanted to fax something. She said we never use the fax machine. Then she began to move several large cartons that were piled on top of the fax machine. Then she overcharged me by a significant amount for faxing 4 pages. I couldn't wait to get out of that place. I don't know how they can possibly conduct business like this. It is a disorganized mess inside with boxes everywhere; only one person working there who is not helpful; and no copier. And beware they grossly overcharge . I will now go to UPS Store or Postal Annex downtown. read more

This is where I've been taking my employer-related fed ex docs to drop off for years. Last week or so they said fed ex already picked up at 3:30 (usually it's 5-5:30) and then yesterday, Jan 24th I thought I'd run down earlier and at 3 they weren't even open and both times, crunched for time and I had to go down to foothill. It's it's new management that's causing the issue, I'm taking my business elsewhere. Disappointing. Going to try the one by Nations.. and try NOT to go IN TO Nations! read more
