The experience ended up being so easy thanks to the woman who runs the store-- I believe her name is Chetna (I hope I spelled that correctly). She was incredibly kind, patient, and graceful while walking me through everything. She made the whole process simple and stress-free, and on top of that she was so personable that we ended up having a really nice conversation while I was there. It's rare to come across customer service that genuine. Because of this experience, I'll absolutely be coming back here for anything I need in the future-- whether it's mailing packages, notary services, or fingerprint scanning. I had to ship something and looked up my closest fedex shipping and this place popped up. Instantly my stomach fell to my stomach because of the experience I had there a few months back-- I needed to print two black and white pages Usually it's a quarter for a page which is fine. I asked and the lady who took my paper and said it was $2 while she was doing the printing. I said whatever, it's printed and I wanna get out of there. She asks me to pay and says it's $2.00 but minimum on any cards is $1.25 or something ridiculous like that. I said are you joking? She said no. I said no thanks, I'll cancel this transaction. And the manager lady that was assisting the front desk person decided to yell at me and that I MUST pay because she printed the sheets out. I told her to never raise her voice at me and I pointed out that the documents were still in her hand. She continued to be rude and rambling one about how dare I make her waste ink. I just walked out. Pretty sure charging merchant fees for a debit transaction is federally illegal btw. My experience there was so bad that I rather drive 15 mins and go to the FedEx in West Dublin at 5:00 pm traffic hour than to go to this shop that's literally down the street from me. Really happy doing business here; they take the time needed to make sure every customer has confidence in their shipments. They have helped me package, cushion, and ship several items across the country and overseas, and never was an item lost or damaged. Since they are a small team and devotes their focus on each situation, make sure you give yourself (and them) enough time to complete the task, especially during the lunch hour. Their services includes notary, passport photos, and I think some mailbox services but I don't know their prices. If I ever come to needing that I'll update this review. read more

Pros: conveniently located next to the Safeway on Tassajara. Cons: it was closed for lunch until 2pm. Not sure if that was a one off or not. Also the shop didn't seem that secure with the packages. There were packages scattered about on the counters. I can see it being easy for something to get lost or stolen. Not sure I would use this location again. This is a really nice local postal shop. Customer service excellent and friendly. Once you set up your customer account, it will save previous addresses you've mailed to, which makes future shipments very convenient. They will also email you the receipt, tracking numbers, and when the item has been delivered so you don't need to keep checking. My favorite feature is that you can see the prices of different shipment options across the major carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS) on the computer screen, which helps in making an informed decision. They are always helpful in providing recommendations guidance on estimated arrival times. Really happy I got to find a nice local business to support and enjoy services from. Great location and staff! I have rented a postal box at this location for more than a year, so I visit this location regularly. Chetana, Robert, and Willie have consistently been very knowledgable, helpful, and very friendly. I trust them completely with all of my mail and package deliveries (both receiving and shipping). I've never experienced a problem; however, if one did occur, I'm confident they would address and resolve it quickly. I believe they genuinely care about their customers and want our experiences to be positive. Although some have left negative comments for this location, I would encourage you to give them the opportunity to provide you with the same exceptional service I've received. read more

Do not recommend this place at all. They charge you for service they did not provide. I wanted to print two pages stored on my USB flash drive. They charged me $3 for computer usage in addition to the per page printing cost. When I asked the person at the counter, he said it's for using the computer. How else are you suppose to print off of a USB stick? On the receipt, he added it as "Internet". When asked, he said it's quicker for him to charge as such instead of finding a computer charge. That seems like a fraud to me. read more

I stopped by here with a coworker who wanted to mail her post card Save the Dates. She knew that there are postcard stamps available that would save her money compared to slapping on a regular first class stamp that costs 45 cents these days. When we walked into Postal Annex, there were a bunch of customers standing around looking confused. There was one person behind the counter, so my friend stepped up and asked for postcard stamps. Apparently they don't care them, but they will weigh individual mail and print out the digital stamps. Fine, but then we found out that, while the postage costs 32 cents, she would still have to pay 45 cents for the "service." Uh, no thank you. We left and went to the post office instead. I just want to add, this entire conversation with the sales clerk took 10 minutes because I had to rephrase the questions of "Why is this more expensive? Will this be cheaper at the post office?" about three time before he understood what I was asking. Not the brightest sales guy. So to reiterate my tip: Don't come here. A postcard stamp costs 32¢ but they will still charge you 45¢ for it! Same as a first class stamp. read more

I appreciate that this place is close, and some of the employees are very nice. My problem arises from the way they handle USPS packages. When you drop off a prepaid box for USPS, they just have you leave it in a shopping cart across the store. They don't scan it, and they don't keep an eye on the cart. Anyone can pick up a package and walk out, and apparently packages are not picked up every day. I dropped off a box that had tracking, and the box was not picked up for two days! I dropped off on Monday, and it was picked up on Wednesday. I should've driven to the post office, and I will in future, every time! read more

As I was driving away, I realized I forgot to sign my passport renewal form and drove back. The 2 gentlemen there were so considerate and let me reopen my letter to sign my form. I usually come to this location because it's the closest to me. However, the customer service is absolutely terrible. For example, there was an employee using the customer computer to print his documents, while I stood in a line of 5 other customers. The employee got frustrated and directed me to another person who was equally rude. On another account, I was simply dropping off a couple boxes and the same employee glared at me and scoffed after I turned my back to leave. They have a variety of services that I've found very useful, including returning my packages and sending first class mail. I'll be continuing to use their services. I like how they're open on Saturdays also. The only thing is, they don't sell stamps. Regardless, service is great and people are great. read more

I had read some of the reviews and was concerned with this location. However, when the Livermore shop was too busy for the one person working, I came to Dublin. I had a wonderful experience. Horrible experience today at this place. I came in to buy one postage stamp. I needed to mail something very important but don't often mail things out so when I asked Safeway next door for one they politely told me that they don't sell them by one and to go next door to Postal Annex because they would help me out. Great I thought! yeah... NOT so great. I come in and go to the register and ask for one postage stamp. The man at the register (didn't get him name but was working Fri 11/14 at around 1:00 pm) took out the stamps and told me 69 cents. Surprised at the high price (and since clearly I don't mail things out a lot) I said woah is that what stamps cost these days?? The man replied.. well they are 49 cents but we charge 69 cents. I was kind of shocked and nicely asked "Are you allowed do that?" - For whatever reason I thought it was illegal to charge more for stamps than they are worth. ( I guess not???) Anyways, my innocent question didn't sit well with him I guess and he started being incredibly rude saying well then how do you think we stay in business????? and started laughing at me and then turned to his coworker and was making fun of my question and kept laughing. So again i replied "oh I thought it was illegal to sell stamps above what they are worth" and again very rudely while still laughing he's all "do you want it or not????" Okay so I understand that maybe you upcharge stamps to keep your store in business?? but 20 cents? come on. I know that I am the one that NEEDS the stamp and you don't have to sell it to me but I honestly just was shocked and didn't think that places could do that. Maybe I'm wrong and I can admit it (will check in with the post office) but he could have answered my questions and dealt with the situation in a much better way. Just simply saying yes we are allowed to do that would have sufficed. I would give this place a negative 5 star if possible. Worst customer service ever. I asked to print out something and received little help and they charged me for using the computer to print it out even when I had a flash drive. Most places have a file reader linked to the printer already so you can print straight from the printer. Additionally, when I asked to used their board cutter and scissors which were extremely dull and half broken. They had the audacity to tell me after that I was lucky they didn't charge me for helping me out to cut my paper using their half broken tools. If the tools were functional then I wouldn't have need your help. read more

Last week I needed to get notary for 3 documents. I took care of 2 of the documents and needed my husband's signature on the third one so I had to return another day with him. The problem was that they close at 6pm on weekdays which is earlier than when my husband can get there and we could not wait until Saturday since this was urgent. So the next day my husband left work an hour earlier to make it in time before closing and I called Willy (the person who does the notary) and informed him that we were running a bit late but will get there as soon as we can. We got there at 6:05pm and they were already closed. Willy was wrapping up for the day but unlocked the door for us to complete the notary even though we were 5 minutes past closing.
