Horrible customer service by one particular employee. I shipped a very important doc here thinking UPS would be better and more secure than USPS . . . NOT! Long story short is UPS could not find the address and shipped the doc package back to this store claiming insufficient address information. I showed the clerk a Google street photo showing the address was clearly visible but she refused to help. Wanted payment for a reshipment. I told her kindly FU and went to USPS and mailed the doc package which was delivered in two days with no problems and at 1/3 the cost. Exact same address. So yes a UPS FUBAR but no help at this store. I will never do business here again. read more

I went to the store on a Sunday at 2 PM. The sign says open until 3 PM. The Yelp says open until 3 PM and Google search also says open until 3 PM. The store was closed at 2 PM. Wouldn't re-generate an unused shipping label which was completely faded out. When I asked for a refund, they wouldn't do it either.

When returning an item to the sender, be sure to get a receipt from the store. I ordered pillows from Living Spaces for my client, but there was a mix-up with the order, and my client no longer needed or wanted the pillows. I gave the client the option to keep the pillows, but they chose to return them to the UPS store to send them back. The client requested a receipt for the return from this store, but the store refused to provide one. Now, Living Spaces is claiming they did not receive the returned items. I contacted the store, and UPS informed me that they cannot assist without a receipt. This situation seems quite shady at best. read more

Went in and had a small package envelope to tape and wouldn't allow customer to use their tape. You have to purchase their tape. I went back with my small envelope package taped and ready to go, and Jasmine is very inefficient. She took the notarization and not taking a quick drop off. Waited for 5 minutes for her to take my package which only took 20 seconds. Jasmine needs to consider better efficiency and logistics and not have people wait in line for a long time. Since I was doing errands in the area, I decided on stopping by this local ups store. I'll admit to avoiding this general area except for Trader Joe's because the parking lot was a mess back in the day. Anyways, with it gone parking seems to be much easier overall. I don't have an issue with this store with the exception that they don't thoroughly tell you everything like the other stores are supposed to. I didn't know that UPS does services for USPS which is probably my bad... but when I called other UPS stores to inquire, they say that they are supposed to tell you prior to you paying. I was mailing masks out to my friend who needed it for his parents... The gentleman already knew that I was sending masks. I already bought the masks at $1 a piece and I am giving everything away for free including the shipping. He gave me the cheapest option which was $13.95. I expressed shock in how expensive it was since it was probably 0.25 pounds. What he failed to tell me was that I can literally make my way to USPS and get it shipped for $3. I got home 20 mins later and realized that the tracking number was for USPS. I called him and he insisted that it was the same price if I were to mail through UPS. (I called another UPS store to confirm that it was not the case and he should have told me before I made the purchase). He said there was nothing he can do but he can have a cup of coffee with me if I want... We got new neighbors who have kids who have cars, so I'm parking my truck near the mailboxes I've received notes on my car three times saying please do not park in front of the mailboxes and now they didn't deliver our mail on two occasions in the past week... lazy pieces of garbage. I'm typically very judicious about giving 1 star. Came here on a Thursday early afternoon to drop off a couple of what Amazon would call "hassle free" returns. I walk in. There are only 2 customers. 1 on the computer. Another having a letter being sent out. A younger guy was barely helping this customer. I don't initially see any other employees. A few minutes before the first customer leaves another employee walks in. No welcome or eye contact. I wait 10 mins until the first customer's transaction is completed. Instead of acknowledging me with any form of hello or even eye contact as well, employee #1 immediately turns his back lifts his cell phone and walks to the back. Irritated I speak up and ask "are you really going to just walk away like that to look at your phone without even asking if I need help?" He laughs, looks at employee #2 and walks further to the back room! I turn around ready to leave and hear employee #1 very sarcastically say "buhbye"! Visited this location since I was in the area and, as usual, was extremely pleased with the great customer service and attention to my needs and questions that I may have ~ when I visit the Hopyard location. Baktash ALWAYS greets me with a smile and goes the extra mile. All the staff whom have assisted me have been a pleasure. Recently I used them to notarize my application for a birth certificate and fax this information to the group the County of Sacrament has contracted to do their document services. This was fast and easy...all 5 stars!! Sadly I also used them for my passport pictures, which it turns out were unusable. Fortunately I was able to have them taken at the Post Office....so I could apply for my passport in a timely manner. O stars for that. I had called as my UpS driver has all the sudden decided all my packages require signature and he randomly seems to decide that he Is going to leave my packages for pick up with this store. The whole thing irritates me because not a single sender actually required signature so when I called UPs they said its a driver call (?). I haven't even reported missing packages. Anyway - that left me no choice but to head over here on my lunch hour. The wait to be served was rather long as only one person appeared to be working and he was assuring others. This place is less than half a mile from my home and has been my go to place for dropping Amazon returns off. People are friendly and helpful and I have been a happy visitor to this place for couple years now. Now the only thing I am disappointed about is that they now force me to use the computer any time I print something and charge $3 for computer use. In the past I used to stick a USB drive in to the printer and print my stuff (usually just a single page of shipping label) and pay just for printing. The new practice essentially makes it $4 do print just a single page of shipping label. Now I have to go elsewhere to print the label and then come back here to drop it off. Not happy. read more

Not only was this store convenient, but the staff was incredible! I went to this store to get my kid's science project banner prints. I came in last minute before a project was due and Manpreet was more than happy to help me through the printing process. I visited several print shops that were not willing to take the time to help me figure out how to print my project on tri-fold boards which is a very uncommon size to digitally print on. She helped me with her creativity and suggested to take prints on different paper sizes to fit the project content on tri-fold. She helped me problem solve to find a way around this by helping me professionally to scale everything in proportion with my board. She went the extra mile to help me out. Manpreet is the sweetest, most reliable, and helpful person behind the desk. She treats their customers with respect and care. I had no experiences of mailing via UPS except with the return mailing labels from merchants, so I didn't really know how much it would cost. My package was about 5 lb. and I asked for regular ground (slowest and cheapest), the price was $23.31. After I said I needed to insure that for $300, the price went up $20, to $43.31! I don't know why I didn't think more and take my package somewhere else. Now I came home and checked online for how much the insurance coverage should cost, and it showed something like $2.35 to cover shipment value of $300~400!!! I was charged nearly 10 times more for the insurance, and just paid like a fool even though I thought that was way too much. My package needed to go out asap, and the content was valuable, that's why I did it there and then. I've learned my lesson and will be smarter next time. read more

There was a older guy who took my shipment and just threw it on the ground even though I paid for it to be boxed. As anyone whos sold items to stockx knows the shoe box also has to be undamaged and I could just tell by the guys demeanor that he did not care for it at all. So now I am down $15 a fee for not meeting their standards for the box and a over $100 in resell of the shoe itself. read more

Do not use this UPS store. Take the time and use the one on Santa Rita close to Valley. The lady is extremely rude and doesn't want to help. I was second in line and the person in front was searching for something on their phone. I was doing a drop off and ask if she could take care of the drop off and print a receipt while the other customer was looking for an address. She told me "no" along with a dirty look. I waited paticiently for my turn and when I got to the front my box wasn't taped well. She wanted to charge me $3 for a 2 inch piece of tape. I left and went to the other UPS store where I was greeted with a smile, they taped my box at no charge and were happy to help. Horrible customer service, unwillingness to help and poor attitude. I had a box here for years and they were great. Then ownership changed, and everything went downhill. I closed my box, and some of my mail needed to be forwarded to my new address. Instead of calling me (they had my number on file) to have it forwarded, as I initially requested, they either threw the mail out, or returned it to sender. Needed to send a fax and this place was right around the corner from where sis and I were shopping for furniture. I walked in, no one was at the counter however I didn't wait long for a gentleman to come out from the back. He dryly greeted me and gave me a coversheet to send my fax off with. I prepared my fax material while he went back to the back and asked that I holler when I was ready. I hollered, he came out, sent the fax off, collected the $1 for faxing and then wished me a good day. While the service was uneven, I appreciated that he said I could attach what I was faxing to the coversheet to save some money. In a pinch and in the area I'll return PS- BEWARE, this is in the same center as Trader Joes who apparently caters to people who can't drive in a parking lot correctly. You've been warned! read more
