First time coming to this location. It was off the freeway on my way home. I came to this store on Thursday, December 14 @2:15pm and was assisted by a women with blue/gray hair. There was a man waiting for something else and said I could go. No one else was there but me. I was returning a jacket that doesn't fit me. I pulled up my barcode and she tells me "we don't do that here". I was confused because the link showed their location "did this". I tried to show her and read to her what the instructions said. She was not interested and said "I don't know how it's worded there but we don't do that here". Meaning they do not package and label my return. See photo where it states," they will package and label your return for you". I went to another UPS store in town and they took my package, bagged it, and labeled it in 5 mins. She said "easy enough". Without her knowing my previous experience. Maybe the link site was incorrect. Maybe she was having a bad day. *Updated* I told the associate it wasn't an amazon return. She said she knows because it shows that it wasn't and could still not accept the package without it being already packed and sealed. This UPS return was from TikTok Shop. I showed the 2D barcode to the other UPS store and they were able to pack, seal, and label it normally. read more

Needed a photo for Passport Renewal. Renia (or at least started with an R) said she was the only one who could do this and she understood the Passport requirements than anybody else. She was horrible!!! She made me type my email address myself, would not show me the shot she took, as it was take it whether you like it or not. The guy working then was told to finish the transaction. I paid around $25 for a digital copy only. The next day, I went back and told her it never arrived. She said, I am in charge and then she said she made me put in my own email as she did not want to do it and never does it. She said I should have sent it. Look, it was not computer, I did not know how to sent it and a buy came over to help me. I asked to speak to the owner and she said he was not in and I asked if I could get his name and number so I could call him. She took my name, address and cell number. He never called. I created this Yelp account specifically to leave a review for this location. I have a Mail box here and interact with the staff often. I encountered an issue that was entirely my fault a couple of weeks ago, and unfortunately, I couldn't resolve it with the manager. Given that the owner sets the policies, I asked another employee to reach out directly, hoping he would understand my circumstances. I was able to speak with the owner over the phone and explain my situation. We came to a more than fair agreement, which I deeply appreciate. It's refreshing to deal with a small business, even a franchise, that values each customer and understands the importance of flexibility. As a small business owner myself, I understand the need to be flexible at times, and I am grateful that the owner here was accommodating. The dude who runs this place is wack they close at 6:30 and I dropped off at 6:24pm and saw the UPS delivery driver going out the back door and my item was ready to go and i asked the store owner behind the counter "can he take this" his response was " oh no buddy he already left" the driver wasn't even out the backdoor yet but he's telling me the driver left while I'm watching the driver opening the back door..... if you're going to be open till 630 last call should be 6:31 not 6:25pm what is the point of that? that's poor business.... the owner was whack he just let the driver go out the door and didn't want to do anything to help the customer like turn around and say "hey would you mind taking this for this customer he needs to go out today" .....instead he just let the guy go and tells me "oh he already left" when I was watching the driver walk out the door. he clearly HAD NOT left the business. I have been PO Box customer for more then 9 years at this location, for the most minimal service, and it turns out I can't even return a damaged packing box I purchased this morning. am giving the UPS Store four out of five stars. The employees are wonderful, kind and very friendly. They do their job well and with a smile on their face. Something that you don't always see these days. (Sad but true.) If you need copies as I did, they will happily request your originals and make the copies as you need them. The small details were not missed. I needed two copies of most everything. Some were doubled-sided, so my copies were too. Some were county originals, those they made as color copies. Some I only needed one copy so that is what they did. Finally, they all needed to be collated and put in order. When I got everything back, the copies and originals were in the same order as when I gave the stack to the clerk to be copied. I deducted one star for the cost of the copies. $0.29 PER COPY! It can and did get pricy. $60 for just the standard black and white copy!!! To be fair, that did include labor but I could have done it myself at the library for just $0.13 per copy. It would have taken me much longer, but it would have cost me under $30. I really liked the convenience of not doing it myself. read more

I really try not to post negative reviews but this business left me no choice! Last October, I returned 3 glass lights . I paid extra for packaging as these were glass but when they got to LA one was broken. I asked the receiving light company to take pics for me and I clearly did not get the extra packaging I had requested for fragile items. Now, I have requested my shipping cost back and the cost of one light, that I had to pay for, back in October! They have repeatedly told me it's still under review, clearly giving me the brush off! I feel it's pretty black and white....I paid for extra packaging....I did not get...and they have ignored me for 5 months!! I would not recommend this particular store for your shipping. Binding project: The UPS team on Bernal did a fantastic job I had over 1,000 pages of documents that needed to be bound with 123 exhibits of varying numbers of pages - the UPS team nailed it and made sure that none of the exhibits were split between the bound books they created. This has been my go-to spot to return packages, get notary services, fingerprints, etc. Since they have opened I have been returning packages and noticed a number of months back, they started charging an additional fee for every box/package returned. If you return a lot, it really adds up and there hasn't been a clear reason given. I was told it was the owner's choice, not a UPS policy. I went on Sat., and one box was slightly bigger and they charged me double of the other boxes (but basic size boxes overall) to inconvenience to "hold" the packages. I'm sad to say I'll be searching for a different location that doesn't add surcharges, since I'm already getting charged from the places I'm returning anywhere from $6.95-$8.95. read more
