A great flavor on the Tom Yum soup. Citrus-y, umami, fresh mushrooms, and shrimp. Some of the best Pad Thai I have tasted and the beef and noodles in the Pad Kee Mao were cooked to perfection. I would say, some of the best Thai food available in Long Beach. The dining room is spacious and clean. There is a private lot with plenty of parking in the D&D Discount Store lot. They served my wife's soup way before our entrees so we couldn't eat together, so that sucked. But everything else was good. Note: They are closed on Weds and they also close between lunch and dinner service, so check the hours before coming.

Drove by this place for ages without realizing that it would be a great Thai bbq place. Easy and plenty of parking spaces. The place doesn't look like Thai restaurant, it's more of wooden oldies western style. Went here for dinner and got table right away. There was only one person working the whole place (front of the house that is). She was wonderful, friendly and nice person. She's fast too for 6 tables. She took the orders without writing it down (for us at least) and within 10-15mins, the foods start coming out. Big portion for the prices, great taste and great quality of the meats. Perfect seasoning since my kid literally ate them all and he's a picky eater. The place is clean, airy, funky but settle decoration (still got holiday decor up). Overall we enjoyed it a lot more than we thought with good foods & great services.

Came here based on the 4.5-star rating, but I should've read the reviews more carefully. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly, but that's where the positives end. The shrimp tempura was average. The strawberry lemonade was overly sweet and tasted artificial. The food quality was very disappointing. The crab fried rice was made with imitation crab, even though we were told it was fresh snow crab. All the fried rice dishes were overloaded with chunks of egg. The chicken pad Thai was not good at all--the chicken was tough, large, and clearly not fresh. We took a few bites of everything and couldn't continue eating. When I told the server we were unhappy, we were still charged the full $72 with no attempt to make it right! Would not return.

I came here today Monday around 11:30 am craving thai food. I saw their hours sign and understanding that they open at 12 I went to DDs to shop and come back.Coming back at 12:03 still surprised they weren't open yet. This really is a let down and misguiding towards customers. Please at least update your sign..

Alright yall if you've read my reviews before you know I'm very honest and I don't play with my food because my moto is FOOD IS LIFE!! I tried this place yesterday and it was amazing it was freshly cooked I ordered the seafood fried rice and it was delicious I contained lightly battered fish, shrimp, mussels, and I believe squid but don't quote me on it onion and tomato the sea food was cooked to perfection and didn't have a fishy smell , my partner ordered crab fired rice and the same with that the rice was cooked perfectly and the crab was found to be cooked to highly delicious standards as well we also ordered fried chicken egg rolls and those where to die for it was crispy without being soggy fully packed the staff was very polite as they stayed open even though they were about to close I didn't feel any anger or awkwardness as the guy offered to give suggestions on what to order as we had never been there before it's very peaceful and small so there's no over crowding during the day it gives a very welcoming vibe

Date night became available and after a rainy day I quickly looked for a good Soup spot, found this place and looked good not to far from the beach. So this place was perfect. Managed to get sunset and perfect dinner . Food. Wow did not disappoint! Waitress was so nice and freindly! Food was delicious!!! Soup was to the exact Flavor I was looking for. Orange chicken was crispy and sauced so perfectly! 10/10 coming back soon!

I was blown away by the yellow curry when i came here. It was so rich and full of flavor, which is so lacking in a lot of thai restaurants i've been to lately. Excited to try everything else whenever i'm in the area!!! The service is always very sweet here as well, super cozy. :)

I am on an adventure to try Thai food all across Long Beach. I would give this an 7.9 out of 10 on food and service a 10 out of 10. The food was pretty good, and the restaurant was super cute. Over all 5/5 stars because everything was good none the less and definitely I can not complain about anything!! Also side note, their Thai Tea is extremely good, I would definitely recommend.

I've been coming here since they opened and I can honestly say that I continue to be a huge fan of this restaurant. I don't predict much success for this place. I used to love this place before it was sold. I stopped by to give it a try under new management. I ordered a salad. A salad shouldn't take all night but it did. 30 plus minutes waiting and the place was empty. Only one table in use. Lots of to go orders. After waiting forever I got my meal and headed home only to discover it was not a salad. They gave me the larb and a pile of uncut hard cabbage. Cabbage is not salad. Cabbage is barely digestible when it is neither cooked nor shredded and marinated in salad dressing. Larb salad usually comes with lettuce, carrots, basil, at a minimum. It is a salad. This was not. It was a joke. It's like they aren't even trying. Toward the end of my epoch wait I noticed they had a rather extensive return policy posted. A red flag I wished that I had noticed before 25 minutes had expired and I was too hungry to walk away. Do better Pad Thai Classic! read more

Ahh i was really hoping to enjoy the food here specially after reading all the great reviews. I ordered the yellow curry spicy level 4 and let me just say that it was impossible to even eat it :(. I had to stop eating it the spicy level was extremely high my scalp was sweating lol this was a take out order. So I tried to add milk and some sugar to not waste the dish but it was just impossible. My stomach continues to be on fire as I write this lol. And I love spicy curry but this was just not enjoyable. After inspecting the rest of the curry bowl I found 10 Thai chili's explains why. In addition I order the pad Thai chicken. It hardly had any chicken :( and the fried egg on top which is new to me was extra fried and hard. I usually had the egg scramble with the noodles. There was hardly any sauce with my noodles and not what I was expecting. I was definitely expecting a lot more. read more

I used to go there when it was Thai BBQ. I found out that now reopened and it's what it is now. I went there last night after a horrendous work week, to be genuinely greeted by Pati. Ordered coconut soup and panang curry: both were really good. Generous portions and reasonable pricing. I had leftovers for breakfast and lunch. But this review is about Pati whose energy and smile are healing. I would for sure go back just to be around Pati's beautiful soul. Not sure if she is the owner then amazing job and of Pati is an employee, then she deserves a raise. read more

Been going to Pad Thai classic for years. During covid lockdown I ordered to go here at least 2-3 times a week. The food here is just that good, and at very affordable prices too! Everything on the menu here is good, but I especially love their fried fish with curry (it's taken off the menu now but they still have it, if you request) Their Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and curries are of course all delicious as well. This place is so good that it is now the standard I hold and compare to when I go to other Thai restaurants. So far no other Thai places beats the value and quality of this! I've moved about an hour away from Long Beach area , but I drive all the way back to eat here, just because I missed this place so much. I can rely on this place to always taste delicious, and the prices are unbeatable. I've had Thai food from other cities that were almost double the price compared to here and the taste didn't come close into comparison as Pad Thai Classics food. Today is the first time I've gotten to eat inside this restaurant , I drove an hour to get here and I can say it's very much worth it! I can say im very happy to be able to eat here again! I will definitely be back! Thank you again Pad Thai classic, for always making amazing food! read more

Don't keep talking to your favorite customers and continue to walk by myself and my guest without saying something. Right away I recognized a worker (Grace) which was a delightful surprise. Grace welcomed us with a smile and her service was fantastic. Starting off with the chicken satay it was very different than what I had in past Thai food restaurants and I absolutely loved it. The texture, flavor and dipping sauce was so so delicious. Shoutout to Pad Thai Classic! Seriously, the service here is so good. We called ahead to check how busy it was and Nicky answered and she was super sweet and even set a table aside for us before we arrived. The food? Amazing. We got both the Yellow and Penang curry, so flavorful! The egg rolls were super fresh, and the mint leaf beef on the tray was perfect! Also, tons of parking which is always a plus. Ok, from the front "curb appeal" I was a bit pensive about this place. Looks are deceiving. Pad See Ew , chicken dumplings and garlic chicken wings were incredible. I love their noodles and their food overall. I'd say one of the best Thai resturants in Long Beach. The restaurant is in a nice part of town, so its pretty good. One thing tho is that they are almost always packed whenever I am in there, maybe thats a good thing, but things can get crowded for us customers.
